MPD (2). 1 Ergis’ Siouxline Tennyson. Black & tan, lovely conical head & oval eye, excellent forechest & elegant graceful neck, gd length of ribbing, nicely arched, moved soundly & handled superbly.
PD (5). 1 Herrington’s Kathington Chance N Counter. Red, nice houndy head & oval eye, excellent forechest, super bend of stifle, lovely level top & under line, super feet, moved & handled well. BPD; 2 Ergis’ Siouxline Thomas. Black & tan, lovely head & eye, gd strong top & under line, excellent bend of stifle; 3 Orton’s Scalamor Solomons Seal.
JD (2). 1 McNaughton’s Bronia L’Artista. Shaded red, gd body proportions, nice sloping shoulder & tight elbows, showed & handled well; 2 Herrington’s Kathington Chance N Counter. Winner of PD.
PGD (4). 1 Jones’ Radclyffe Milvus. Black & tan, another super head, nice broad ear, prominent breastbone, gd top line, kept on the move, with strong soundness fore & aft; 2 Hully’s Maximites Montgomery. Black & tan, stronger head than winner, of different type, gd top line & under line, in excellent condition; 3 Butler’s Celtichills Diamond.
LD (1). 1 Baldwin’s Lauralee One For The Road to Beckel. Red, one I have admired, textbook when stacked, super prominent breastbone & excellent bend of stifle, lovely head & eye, super feet, handled & showed well. RCC.
OD (4). 1 Jones’ Radclyffe Melanocorypha. Shaded red, conical head, oval eye & expressive with broad ear, super bone, arched feet, gd prominent breastbone, well muscled, bend of stifle, gleaming condition, top line & under line level, super rear drive won him the CC, his third I believe; 2 Melbourne’s Melriding Post Hac Heliora. Lovely shape & size, excellent body, super chest, showed superbly; 3 Barber’s Melriding Meruisti.
MPB (6). 1 Bethel’s Hampdach Angelic. Red, v elegant, textbook head & eye, superb bend of stifle, gd length to body with correct proportions, moved & handled well; 2 Lashbrook’s Little Miss Molly of Milfer. Shorter than winner, super tight elbows, showed well; 3 Brace’s Tythe Solitaire (taf).
PB (8). 1 Daykin’s Barratini Magic Moment. Red, this b has caught my eye before, absolutely super, conical head, oval eye, broad ear, correct bite, lovely front assembly, level top line & under line, arched feet, gd sound mover, pushed hard in the challenge. BPIB; 2 Salisbury’s Barratini Moonbeam. Red, litter sister to winner, same remarks apply, just not as settled on the day; 3 Orton’s Scalamor Whoops A Daisy.
JB (4). 1 Melbourne’s Melriding Slack Alice. Shaded red, lovely outline, mot notes say textbook shape, just not as free moving on the day as I have seen her; 2 Orton’s Scalamor Pussy Willow. Superb head, lovely front, showed well; 3 Shutt’s Shemby Hocus Pocus at Donnadoon.
PGB (3). 1 Shelton’s Sarade Lady Tara. Black & tan, lovely shape, broader skull than I prefer, excellent front angles & bend of stifle, strong top & under lines; 2 Butler’s Celtichills Dawn. Black & tan, lovely head, but needs more weight to complete her picture.
LD (4). 1 Crawley’s Donnadoon Elouise at Doujac. Black & tan, such a strong moving b, excellent tight elbow & upper arm length, graceful neck onto level top line, well muscled second thigh & superb bone, well arched feet, nice tail set completed the picture of total balance. RCC; 2 Jones’ Radclyffe Monticola. Black & tan, lovely head & eye, gd feet, sound movement, level top line, unfortunate to meet winner; 3 William’s Nordach Walking On Sunshine.
OB (3). 1 Munt’s Ch Pipersvale Stella Artois JW. Red, v feminine b, I have long admired for her lowness to ground, textbook head, superb oval chest, gd angles & prominent breastbone, level under line & top line, well bodied b, on superb arched feet, moved soundly & proudly. CC & BOB; 2 Blackburn-Bennett’s Shardagang Pavlova. Red, lovely type, unfortunate to meet winner, excellent body proportions, handled to perfection; 3 Ergis’ Bronia Stunning Sophia for Siouxline JW ShCM.
