MINIATURE SMOOTH HAIRED
Min Smooth Dachshunds surely the easiest to present in good condition, but aparently not. I found long nails, dirty teeth even in the youngsters. Bare ears wit crusty edges and poor coats. Only one poor temperament which I could not handle at all, and two very thin animals.
MPD. (4). 1. Dunn’s, Barratini Luke Lively at Ashridge. Red. Lovely head, good shoulder placement. Top and underline ok. Moved well. Should have a good future. 2. Hunt’s, Deercroft Discoverer with Carpaccio. Smaller b/t. Nice outline. Moved soundly. 3. Priestely’s, Hillstar Tizz Magic.
PD. (4). 1. Coxon’s, D’Arisca Elnside Elitist. Red. Pleasing head with good reach of neck. Well filled front, looked good in profile. Moved well in front but hind action could improve. Hope he doesn’t grow anymore. RCC. 2. Mead’s, Minimead Maximus. Outline good. Fair head. Nice bone, kept topline on the move. Turns front feet out. 3. Doran’s, Dorandaq Ditchfield.
JD. (3). 1. Norton’s, Halunke Martinesque. Nice youngster. Good head and neck, top and underline. Well ribbed. Moved freely. Stands a bit high behind at times, needs to relax. 2. Jones’s, Detravis Mr Confidence at Indizak. Taller, shoulder placement good. Nice head, poor front.
PGD. (5). 1. Widdop’s, Jondac Justin. B/t. Pleasing outline. Well off for bone. Well filled forechest. Strong quarters. Well presented. 2. Watkinson’s, Manakoora Hanapepe Valley. Well made. Front assembly good. Pleasing head. Nice ribbing. Moved with style. 3. Gaskin’s, Glorron Petulegro at Dovestream.
OD. (3). 1. Coxon’s, D’Arisca Inkel Impresario. B/t. I liked the head and neck, well carried, well filled forchest. Top and underline correct. Enough bone, good feet. Looked good in profile. In excellent condition. Hind action tends to sway a little. CC and BOB.
MPB. (7). 1. Bursey’s, Willowheath Bliss with Hartlake. Nice puppy. Good head. Nice topline. Good reach of neck. Moved well. 2. Reed’,s Deercroft Miss Dynamite. Good type. Nice head, well set shoulders. Profile good. Free mover. 3. Goodacre’s, Minimead Misty Girl.
PB. (9). 1. Reed’s, Deercroft Devition. So well put together. Swet expression. Balanced all round. Good bone, neat feet. Smart mover. 2. Lewis’s, Merehill Kinky Boots at Bardachs. Good head, reachy neck. Plenty of length. Front assembly ok. Needs to gain more confidence. 3. Marka-Novaj’s, Shembys Art Work.
JB. (12). 1. Gorman’s, Gordax Black Velvet. B/t. Pleasing head, nice make and shape. Correct in front. Nice bone, good feet. Would like a bit more sweep of keel. 2. Hutchison’s, Moongarm National Velvet. Lovely puppy. Nicely balanced. Very good head, nice neck and shoulder. Good ribs, short loin. Nice mover. Just needs to firm up. BP. 3. Mead’s, Minimead Maid Specially.
PGB. (8). 1. Rowell’s, Emmajesk Starlight JW Sh CM. B/t. Very stylish. Pleasing head. Good bone, neat feet. Strong quarters. Sound mover. Tends to cut up a bit in underline. 2. Humes’s, Mowbray Music Maker at Zoflora. Red, taller. Has a nice head and neck carried well. Neat front. Movement could improve. Needs a manicure. 3. Paterson’s, Yasmin Fire Babe.
LB. (9). 1. Mayger’s, Woolsocks Black Satin. Vry promising. Lovely bone and feet. Feminine head. Nice topline. Good shoulder lay. Movement true very stylish in sparkling condition. 2. Daykin’s, Barratini Magic Moment. Red. Outline correct. Strong quarters. A bit palin in head. Not putting all in on the day. 3. Callow’s, Garthorne Leonie.
OB. (9). 1. Hunt’s, Ch. Carpaccio Shopaholic JW. B/t. Well known winner. Have judged before. Well built. Good neck, nice body. Tidy front, nice in profile. Moves with style. CC. 2. Callow’s, Ch. Garthorne Leading Lady. B/t. Well constructed. Good shoulder. Nice front. True parallel mover. RCC. 3. Coxon’s, D’Arisca Art and Design.
