MINIATURE SMOOTH HAIRED
Mpd (6, 3) 1 Ergis’ Siouxline Isaac. well shaped head and dark eye, tightly fitted shoulders, excellent front. Showed smartly in gleaming condition. 2 Jones’ Monty’s Glorious Moment. nice head, good front construction, happy shower, needs a little more length to finish the picture. 3 Hollis’ Sanmik Boby Dazzler. Pd (4 , 2) 1 Ergis’ Siouxline Indigo – B&T. very similar remarks to his litter brother Isaac. Preferred his brother’s front construction but his substance and hind drive on the move gave him bpd. 2 very promising puppies. 2 Jones’ Monty’s Glorious Moment. Jd (6, 1) A very hard class, liked each one of these dogs even up to 5th place. But my 1st and 2nd were shown to perfection and loved them both. Split hairs to choose between them. 1 Shelton’s Donnadoon Imagination. lovely b&t boy who I seriously considered for the Res CC. super head, dark eye and good expression. Lovely length of neck, good front construction, good feet. Well muscled quarters, kept a super outline at all times and moved well. 2 Mead’s Minimead Maximus. lovely bodied red dog, good spring and length of rib, super hammy quarters, good bone, looked super on the move with good positive hind movement. Just preferred head of 1st both have a promising future. 3 Hunt’s Deercroft Discoverer With Carpaccio. Pgd (5) 1 Dunn’s Barratini Luke Lively At Ashridge. red, lovely head and eye, good front, tight shoulders, good spring of rib, hammy quarters. Looked a picture standing. 2 Hunt’s Deercroft Discoverer With Carpaccio. b&t dog, well constructed throughout, beautifully presented and handled, just preferred the substance of 1st. 3 Watkinson’s Manakoora Hanapepe-Calley. Ld (8) 1 Herrington’s Kathington Chance N Counter. smart red dog, looking very well but would still prefer him to carry a little more weight to complete the overall picture. Nice head, dark eye, excellent forechest, good spring of rib, well muscled hind quarters. Dog shown in hard condition, excellent outline, sound mover, Res CC. 2 Ergis’ Siouxline Thomas JW ShCM. lovely b&t dog to go over, head adequate, lengthy neck, good ribbing, gleaming condition, smart dog but preferred topline of 1st. 3 Newbury’s Morris Man Of Dalegarth. Od (3, 1) 1 Coxon’s D’Arisca Inkel Impresario. excellent head, eye and length of neck, superb forechest, tight shoulders, long low and level. Fabulous hind angulation, super bone, still would prefer a little stronger hind movement but super everywhere else. Gave this dog a 1st in Junior previously and has strengthened and matured nicely throughout. Dog CC. 2 Barber’s Melriding Meruisti. smart b&t dog, very hard to fault on body construction, keeps a good topline at all times, moves true fore and aft, shows his heart out. Preferred head of 1st and would like him a little more masculine. Mpb (9, 2) 2 gorgeous puppies 1st and 2nd. 1 Callow’s Gazania. 6 month old, lovely head with pretty expression and good pigmentation. Lovely front, beautiful shoulders, good spring of rib, hammy quarters, when behaving kept an excellent topline on the move with plenty of stride and drive, lost out on BPB on maturity but of similar type and I believe they are by the same sire. 2 Salisbury’s Brocklewood Babycham. another stunning minor puppy bitch with all the same remarks as above, splitting hairs to make the final decision. Must have a good future. 3 Payton’s Hampdach Highlyspiced For Marajo. Pb (5, 1) 1 Coxon’s Golden Delicious. pretty red bitch full of quality, sweet head, good dark eye, fabulous front construction, good spring of rib, hammy well angulated quarters. Full of attitude and show presence, stood true fore and aft, good outline at all times. BP and was pleased to see her go bpis, was well deserved. 2 Worswick’s Dolyharp Minuet. another super puppy, different type to 1st but full of quality. Pleasing head and eye, good length of neck, good front, good hind angulation, super profile. 3 Herrington’s Kathington Ebony Star. Jb (15, 6) 1 Mead’s Minimead Maid In Manhatten. quality b&t bitch, super front assembly, good spring of rib, good hammy hind quarters which she used well on the move, good topline at all times. Moved well. 2 Reed’s Deercroft Devotion. different type but of quality. Excellent head type, good length of neck, long and level, good hind quarters, excellent profile at all times. 3 Metcalf’s Matedale Band Of Gold. Nb (7, 2) 1 Fuller-Grey’s Whitewebbs Trompe L’oeil. excellent head and eye, very good front, tight shoulders, good ribbing, well muscled hindquarters, good topline, soundest mover of the day. 2 Sharkey’s Hyshope Black Crystal. cobby b&t, excellent body type, hammy quarters, not the head or neck of first. 3 Herrington’s Kathington Ebony Star. Pgb (13, 3) 1 Jones’ Woolsocks Chocolate Fudge. this bitch won under me last time I judged in junior bitch. Lovely head and eye, sweet expression, good length of neck, super front assembly, excellent spring of rib. Stands true fore and aft, super profile and movement, excellent topline. 2 Reed’s Deercroft Devotion – 2nd in junior. 3 Sharkey’s Hyshope Louisa May. Lb (10, 3) What a superb class of quality bitches, even ones not placed could easily have won under me on another day. 1 Daykin’s Barratini Magic Moment JW. all I can say is this is my ideal of a dachshund in miniature, her construction and her movement, there is nothing to be improved on. She will surely get her 3rd CC in a short time. I wish she was mine CC and BOB and pleased to see her go BIS. 2 Kent’s Bensarka Too Darned Hot For Lokmadi. another bitch that I have greatly admired outside the ring and was not disappointed. Oozes quality, pretty head, eye and expression, elegant neck, good shoulders, good forechest, good spring of rib, well angulated and hammy quarters, stood true fore and aft, beautifully presented. Clean lines throughout, fabulous outline on the move, superb driving and striding movement. 1st just a little steadier behind but I’m sure her day will also come. Res CC. 3 Mayger’s Woolsocks Black Satin. Excellent b&t bitch, lovely head and eye, well arched and lengthy neck sat on well placed shoulders. Excellent front and good feet, well muscled hind quarters, keeps her outline at all times. Hopefully her time will also come. Ob (8, 2) 1 Ergis’ Ch Bronia Stunning Sophia For Siouxline JW ShCM. Houndy clear red bitch with nothing exaggerated. I have already given this bitch a RCC and still love her but today had to bow down the younger bitches in limit. Lovely head and dark almond shaped eye, excellent front construction, good substance and bone, excellent topline. Good spring of rib, excellent hammy quarters, moves with such enthusiasm, giving all the time. 2 Hunt’s Am. & Can. Ch. Grandgables Ms Supernatural At Carpaccio. Elegant b&t bitch, different type to 1st, full of quality, correct conical head and eye, good shoulder, good ribbing, well angulated quarters, excellent topline at all times. Would prefer maybe to see her carry a little more weight but a lovely bitch. 3 Coxon’s D’Arisca Art And Design.
