MPD (6,1) 1 Ergis’ Siouxline Isaac. Best Puppy. Beautiful b/t with first class construction. Lovely front with good depth of keel, carried well back. Very confident for one so young and moved freely with drive. A real showman. 2 Plant’s Merehill Sudden Impact. Another good b/t, slightly longer cast than the winner. Well constructed with a good forechest, well developed front and good rear angulation. Strong topline and a sound mover. 3 Parish’s Garlandelms First Edition.

PD (4,3) 1 Jones’ Radclyffe Pinicola. Attractive b/t with a pleasing head and eye. Promising forechest, level topline and a good turn of stifle. A free mover but needs more time to develop and settle.

JD (6,1) 1 Doran’s Dorandag Ditchfield. Good b/t bitch built on classic lines. Long, low and level with the best of fronts. Impressive outline with a good top and underline and a reachy neck. A sound mover who showed well. 2 Hunt’s Deercroft Discoverer with Carpaccio. Smaller b/t and lower to the ground than the winner. Well bodied with a strong body, good ribbing and quarters. Moved and showed well, not the forechest of the winner. 3 Melbourne’s Melriding Jerome.

PGD (2) 1 Dunn’s Barratini Luke Lively at Ashridge. CC. Such a beautiful dog, just loved him. Best of heads with a melting expression. Very sound construction and of lovely type; long, low and level. Strong quarters and one of the best movers of the day. 2 Luke’s Corrieknowe Christopher. B/T of taller type than the winner. Well constructed front with a promising forechest. Pleasing head and eye with a nice neck and topline. Moved freely but could not match the winner for verve and style.

LD (6) 1 Ergis’ Siouxline Thomas. Res CC. Beautiful b/t dog with excellent conformation. I loved his overall shape with a reachy neck and a good outline. Excellent ribbing and rear angulation. Positive and sound mover made him an easy winner. 2 Gaskin’s Glorran Petulengro at Dovestream. Substantial b/t of pleasing type. Great forechest with a well angulated front and rear. Level topline, good driving action and handled well. 3 Newbury and Morris’ Morris Man of Dalegarth.

OD (4,2) 1 Coxon’s Ch D’Arisca Inkel Impresario. Stylish b/t of great quality. Very well constructed and scored on forechest. Good length and strong quarters, good driving action. A bit unsettled on the table on the day. 2 Melbourne’s Melriding Post Hac Meloria. Another quality b/t of slightly smaller and more compact type. Of very sound construction with a strong topline, firm body and well muscled quarters. Excellent sound mover. Showed and handled well.

MPB (11,1) 1 Callow’s Garthorne Gazania. Very stylish puppy built on beautiful lines. Well filled in front with a prominent forechest. Nice feminine head with a sweet expression. Beautiful outline with a good top and underline. Strong and sound quarters and moved with drive. 2 Ergis’ Minimead Midnight Cloud at Siouxline. Quality b/t of slightly taller type than the winner, very soundly constructed with good depth and keel well back. Nicely arched neck with good shoulders and a strong topline. Another stylish puppy moving with great style and confidence for one so young. 3 Yeoman’s Klynerbyner Thea May.

PB (4,3) 1 Coxon’s D’Arisca Golden Delicious. Stood alone but a very impressive and eyecatching exhibit who did not disappoint me on the table. Well constructed front, already well developed. Good firm and well ribbed body with lovely angulated quarters. Really strode out on the move with good extension.

JB (12,3) 1 Hunt’s Can Ch and Am Ch Grandgables Ms Supernatural at Carpaccio. This one stood out for me in this class. Built on classic lines with a lovely head, reachy neck and a great topline. Long, low and level. Scored on strong quarters and well rounded rump, showed and handled like a dream - will go to the top. 2 Reed’s Deercroft Miss Dynamite. Quality b/t with all the essentials. Prominent forechest, good in outline with a reachy neck and a level topline. Good firm body and quarters, good steady mover who was true both ways. 3 Melbourne’s Melriding Hortense Louise.

PGB (15,4) 1 Hartley’s Lyrosh Ebony Lady. An easy winner in this class. Quality girl with a lovely head and expression. Well put together with a good front and rear angulation. In hard condition with well muscled quarters Sound mover keeping a true profile at all times. 2 Yeoman’s Klynerbyner Prim and Proper. Chocolate of smaller and more compact type. Well made front with adequate forechest. Good breadth and depth with pleasing top and underline. Moved well. 3 Gorman’s Gordax Black Velvet.

LB (14,4) 1 Daykin’s Barratini Magic Moments. CC and BOB. My find of the day! What a lovely balanced girl and just the type I like. Sound construction all through with strong firm body and correct angulation. A real picture standing with a lovely arched neck and best of toplines. Flowed around the ring with faultless movement, a joy to watch and for me a standard in miniature. I was thrilled to hear that this made her up. 2 Blackburn-Bennett’s Shardagang Equality. Another top quality exhibit with so much to like. Beautiful feminine head and expression, firm well proportioned front and good depth and length of keel and excellent ribbing. Another with a striking outline, strong and well angulated quarters. Moved soundly covering plenty of ground. 2 Callow’s Garthorne Lady in Black.

OB (7,2) 1 Callow’s Ch Garthorne Leading Lady. Res CC. An excellent class, top three could change places. B/T of great quality. Beautiful head and eye, so good in front with a prominent forechest and a good length of upperarm. Good feet and stood foursquare at all times. I liked her length and breadth. Firm in topline and good strong quarters - a free and sound mover belying her age. 2 Hunt’s Ch and Ir Ch Carpaccion Shopaholic. Another quality b/t and close up to the winner. A substantial and well balanced girl. I liked her breadth, firm well developed front with good oval shape. Good depth and length of keel. Lovely hammy quarters. Moved steadily with good drive and extension. Well handled, just preferred the outline of the winner. 3 Ergis’ Ch Bronia Stunning Sophia for Siouxline.
