Well balanced B/T p, long, low and level with good ribbing and front. Nice tight elbows. Moved well; 2 Blackburn-Bennett’s Merehill Newz Connection To Shardagang. Super little b, sweet feminine head and expression, really fell for her, everything in the right place. Good overall length and looked good on the move; 2 Barber’s Simply Red Ruby Of Rivergate. Different type to winner. Nice head and eye. Good ribbing and depth of body, carrying a little too much weight for her size; 3 Melbourne’s Melriding Hortense Louise. Nice neat little b, nicely balanced, with no exaggeration, can only improve with time; 3 Ergis’s Bronia Lucinda For Siouxline. Nicely angulated behind and moved with drive; 2 Shutts’s Shemby Hocus Pocus Of Donnadoon. Attractive chocolate dapple. Good head and shoulder, correct front, nice feet. Moved well; 3 Young’s Willowheath Wendy. LB (11). Good class. 1 Daykins’s Barratini Magic Moment. Have admired this b from the ringside since p, did not disappoint on close inspection. Good head and eye shape. Well arched neck on correct shoulder, well off for bone and ribbing. Moved true, lost out to CC winner today on showmanship; 2 Coxon’s Darisca Art and Design. Nicely constructed small and compact B/T. Good overall balance with clean outline, moved with confidence; 3 Doran’s Switherland Kalidescope. OB (11). This was the best class of the day, some lovely bs had to go cardless, some tough decisions! 1 Doran’s Switherland Hob Nob, a true Dachshund in miniature, B/T. Typical head and eye shape. Plenty of reach, on correct shoulders, ribbing well back, correct front, with good overall length of body. Moved true coming and going. Good profile on the move, pleased to award CC and BOB; 2 Melbourne’s Melriding Slack Alice. Another nice one today from this up and coming kennel, lots to like, well constructed, low and level moving well, I really liked her, but wish she would show a little more enthusiasm; 3 Hunt’s CH Carpaccio Shopaholic.
