I found the breed a joy. Such quality. The puppy bitch classes of 20 with 15 present was really something. The line up for the BCC was a delight. Well done to all of you. Keep it up.

PD. (10). 1. Coxon’s, D’Arisca Grand Prix. High quality brindle. Super bone and feet. Sound as a pound and shown in beautiful condition. Heard he won the Puppy Stakes on the day too. Very well done. Very smart and arrogant. 2. Nitchell’s, Bronia Lanfranco. This dark shaded red is similar to winner in many ways. Super pigment. lovely to go over on the table. Again the lovely bone and padded feet. Holds himself well on the move. 3. Melbourne’s, Melrigind de Lafayette.

JD. (7). 1. Ergis’s, Siouxline Isacc JW Sh CM. This quality black and tan was outstanding in this class. Lovely head n good neck. Very pleasing to handle and a spanking mover. Just like a little more bome for a male. Good showman. 2. Hartley’s, Minimead Makachi at Lyrosh. Solid red of good type. Would like a little more neck and less wrinkle. Good ribbing and movement. 3. Jones’s, Monty’s Glorious Moment at Decview.

PGD. (4). 1. Hollands’, Zaroa Motivation. This very typy b/t excels on the move. Siund and excellent going round. Masculine in head and outlook. Good to go over. Handler must learn to stack him to his advantage. 2. Ergis’s, Siouxline Indigo. Brother to Junior winner and like him has a touch of class about him. Decent head. Nice neck. Would like a little more forechest and not quite the croup of winner. 3. Hartley’s, Mininmead Malachi at Lyrosh.

LD. (9). 1. Shelton’s, Donnadoon Imagination at Barisse. The first of a high quality team shown by an exhibitor who is completely unknown to me. Gorgeous b/t just screams Dachshund. Lovely head, lovely front, sound rear. Good ribbing and lovely legs and feet. Sound coming and going and all the style in the world going round. A real Dachshund in Miniature. Pleasure to award him the CC. 2. Melbourne’s, Melriding Jerome. This high quality red is also a lovely Dachshund. Lovely to go over and very little to fault . So pleasing in most departments and carrying just the right amount of weight. Pucjed the winner all the way. Just not quite his style going round. Well deserved his RCC.

OD. (3). 1. Coxon’s, Ch. D’Arisca Inkel Impresario. Very well pigmented b/t. Very smart going round. Liked his quality and outlook. Good on the table with his nice neck and good ribbing. Could just ne more positive going away. 2. Herrington’s, KJathington Chance n Counter. This red was shown in excellent condition. Stronger head than winner and not wuite the shoulders. Lovely body. He too could be finer behind.

V. (2). 1. Watkinson’s, Ch. Manalkoora Mai-Tai. Outstanding for her 12 and a half years. This red has kept all her quality including a fabulous topline and she is still so very sound. A great credit to her owners. 2. Hartley’s, Lurosh Special Edition. This red was slightly over weight on the day but could not match winner either standing or miving.

PB. (20). 1. Coxon’s, D’Arisca Striped Tease. Arrogant and elegant brindle. Quality head on the best of necks. Excellent front assembly. So well made althrough. Lovely topline and super quarters all giving sound fluid movement. Uses herself so well on the move round. 2. Shelton’s, Barisse Spellbinder. Oh so very typy little b/t. Lovely quality pretty head and eye. Lovely to go over and so absolutely sound. Loved her too. 3. Callon’s, Gartthorne Lady Louisa.

JB. (6). 1. Shelton’s, Barisse High Frequency. Stunning b/t from this kennel when I went over her it was a joy. Such quality and soundness and so little to fault. Beautiful head, lovely front and feet. The best of bodies and ribbing. Excellent movement and all the style in the world going roun. Hard to belive she is only 10 months. Loved her. Won RCC and BP. 2. Salisbury’s, Brocklewood Babycham. Lovely red shown in glorious condition. Lovely head and eye. Another who is very satisfying to go over. Won her place on her excellent movement. Really comes into her won here. 3. Callow’s, Garthorne Gazania.

PGB. (12). 1. Spencer’s, Scalamor Sugar Stealer for Bannonbrig Sh CM. Quality b/t of lovely type. Eye is just a little full. Super ribs and a good front. Holds her outline at all times. Plenty of style going round. 2. Lewis’s, Merehill Kinky Boots at Bardachs. Very pretty richly coloured and pigmented b/t. Lovely head, very good outline. Very sound moving. Shown in excellent condition. Naughty on the table and needs more oomph going round. 3. Scott’s, Bevrons Sofelia.

LB. (15). 1. Mayger’s, Woolsocks Black Satin. This was anothe fabulous hotly contested class. Gorgeous b/t oozes quality. All Dachshund. Loved her on the table. Loved her on the floor. Never put a foot wrong and so stylish going round. 2. Coxon’s, D’Arisca Golden Delicious. Quality red who was also naught on the table. Lovely head on reachy neck. Excellent outline. So very sound coming and going but had her mind on other things going round so not the free flowing action of winner. 3. Barber’s, Simply Red Ruby of Rovergate.

OB. (4). 1. Hunt\ ’s, Can Ch/Am Ch. Grandgables Ms Supernatural at Carpaccio (Imp). This b/t is a true Dachshund in Miniature. Elegant yet with substance and completely feminine. Gorgeous head and eye. Long neck, super fornt and feet. Lovely ribbing. Sound rear. Immaculate topline. Shwon in top condition and this handler really knows how to get the best from his charges. CC and BOB and I was thrilled to see her do so well in the Group. 2. Coxon’s, UK/AM/Can Ch. Grandgables Tickle my Fancy (Imp). Another lovely imoprt from the same kennel as winner. This time a brindle. Very unusual and lovely colour. Excels in neck and forehand. Super ribbing and sound movement. Not the head of winner and her tail can detract at times. Shown in super condition and the dam of the 2 lovely puppy winners. 3. Melbourne’s, Melriding Slack Alice.
