MINIATURE SMOOTH HAIRED
PD (2) 1 Long’s Tydurcwrt Romeo, red, very much a baby at just 6 months, but stood well on the table. Nice head, good mouth, correct teeth, moved well keeping level topline, will hopefully firm up with time. BP & RBD; 2 Shutt’s Just Dreaming of Donnadoon, 8 months choc/t baby, unsettled by the windy conditions & assessment was difficult. JD (2,1a) 1 Long’s Tydurcwrt Dallier, b/t, litter brother to Romeo. Longer in body but with ribbing a little short. Lovely head & eye. Movement unfortunately erratic. PGD (1) 1 Barker & Mogford’s Selick’s Ray, nice head & eye, good reach of neck, good forechest into fair ribbing, movement surpassed expectations. OD (3,1) 1 Miller’s Tydurcwrt All’s Quiet, father of the puppy winners, this is possibly where the good heads come from. Well angulated hindquarters giving good driving movement. BD; 2 Shutt’s Black Passion of Donnadoon, did not compare to 1. Better preparation would have helped.
PB (3,2) 1 Hurn’s Tydurcwrt Prudence, same litter, again showing the same good head, correct mouth, good reach of neck & prominent forechest, this little bitch had good rear angulation & moved well. Should improve with maturity. JB (7,1) 1 Hunt’s Carpaccio Royal Parade, bitch with attitude, the right attitude, feminine head & expression, super spring & length of rib, well angulated giving by a mile the best movement of the day in this breed, add to this real ring presence. BOB; 2 Punter’s Jentiki Welcumen, nice quality, very young bitch, super ribbing, kept topline well on the move & moved out with confidence; 3 Russell’s Russteck Peatbog Fairy. PGB (3) 1 Lashbrook’s Little Miss Molly of Milfer, b/t, well balanced outline on the table with all in proportion, good angulation translated into strong & true movement; 2 Bursey’s Willowheath Bliss with Hartlake, smaller than 1, lovely well sprung ribbing. Not quite the angulation of 1 & not quite the confident movement; 3 Long’s Merehill Legal Tender. OB (3,1) 1 Salisbury’s Brocklewood Babycham, lovely deep well sprung ribbing with prominent forechest, good underline, tight elbows & reasonably well laid back upper arms made for good movement. Pity that she just lost her topline a little. RBB; 2 Lashbrook’s Merrygarth Home Run at Highbend, lost out to 1 on movement, but on the table she looked very smart, strong head & neck, strong chest, well angulated rearquarters.
