MINIATURE SMOOTH HAIRED

Miniature exhibits were all weighed & easily made the limit, they were all well nourished & in pleasing condition.

P (5) 1 McAulay’s Elnside Woody Be Best, elegant red dog, good length to height proportions, low to ground but with adequate clearance, appealing masculine head, lovely long arched neck, well angulated front assembly & prominent pro sternum. Shoulder blade & upper arm could be longer & broader. BP & BOB; 2 Maxted’s Detravis Mr Bone Aparte von Lutscher, masculine shaded red dog, taller than 1 with not quite enough length. Strong head & well arched neck, best front of the day, good angles & strong bone. Not the ribbing of 1; 3 Russell’s Russteck Peatbog Fairy. J (4,1a) 1 McAulay’s Elnside Golden Delicious, feminine red bitch, low to ground, best rear drive of the day, good head & eye. Front movement not as good nor as confident as the BOB; 2 Naylor’s Archibald See Me Now at Maryhazel, both these exhibits were hard to assess. Masculine, strongly built dog. Not the rear drive of 1; 3 Naylor’s Mini Mitzi Moocher of Maryhazel. G (3,1) 1 Hasall’s Shelsall Izzy Wizy, shaded red bitch, best spring of rib here, nice short hocks. Head not her fortune. Well schooled, pleasing type; 2 Andison’s Clentry Red Hot Chillie Pepper, shaded red dog, good head & front assembly. L (2,1) 1 Andison’s Clentry Forget Me Not, red bitch, good head & arch to neck, good length to height proportions, well ribbed. O (2) 1 Andison’s Clentry Dizy Lizzy, shaded red bitch, a little unsettled. Feminine head, good front assembly but not quite enough ribbing; 2 McAulay’s Elnside Little Boo, b/t bitch, compact with strong bone. Lower to ground than 1. Very deep keel. Not the front movement of the other exhibits.
