MINIATURE SMOOTH HAIRED

 MP  1 Callow’s Garthorne Top gear. Stunning puppy, everything just right for age. Super neat front, excellent forechest, well bodied with regulated rear and he moved absolutely spot on. Pleasing convex head, neat small high set ears. Really should do well when fully matured. 2  Orton’s Scalamor Ragged robin. So unlucky to meet the puppy winner today. Elegant red, his feet turn out too much in front and he is narrow coming towards as yet. A lovely head, also good body and super rear, well carried tail.3 Williams and Rose’s Tythe Falling Water. 

PD (4)1 CC and BP, Ergis’ Siouxline  Maverick.  Most beautiful puppy with the length of leg for ease of movement. Hold himself together like an adult! Lengthy head and strong foreface, high set small ears, good neck front and shoulders. Elegant lines of body and good behind. Moved superbly. 2  Winchurch’s Brianolf Malachite. Has the most powerful impressive rear, so well muscled for a baby showing a bit of wrinkle as yet and very happy with his tail at times. Sound as they come and a lovely type. A future champion as was 1 I’m sure. 3 Mortlock’s Siouxline Magnus at Hertsmerry. 

JD 1 Mitchell’s Bronia Lanfranco. A really nice quality, junior, holds a lovely frontline standing and moving, OK in head, eyes a touch too round, very even and precise in front, super oval ribbing, good legs and feet. Well bodied with a slight arch over loin, reasonable rear, well set and carried tail. In good coat and condition. A bit erratic on the day. 2  Hartley’s Minimead Malachi at Lyrosh. A mite stuffy in neck and not quite the length of foreface of winner. He really moves out well and is sound coming and going. Excellent ribbing and topline good, legs and feet. 3 Pritchard’s Hannamouse Dande-lion. 

PG (6) 1  Melbourne’s Melriding Jerome. Smart Dachshund! Very sound front and rear, he covers the ground quite easily. Well ribbed back. Fair head, good width of underjaws, nice length of upper arm and in very good body and condition. 2 Hartley’s Minimead Malachi at Lyrosh.  3 Shuker’s Yewlitt Xerox. 

LD (6) 1 Callow’s Garthorne Garcia. Close between first two. Winner had just a little more length of stride in profile. I preferred the seconds beautiful head! Winners’ was appealing but just a bit more stop in skull than ideal. He has a good front, excellent body and ribbing and a powerful rear. 2 Ergis’ Siouxline Issac. JW Sh CM.  Elegant outline with that gorgeous head and almond eyes. Lengthy neck, a mite close coming towards maybe. Excellent topline and underline enough ground clearance, OK in rear but still can put on a little more muscle perhaps. 3 Jones’ Monty’s Glorious Moment at Dacview. 

OD (9) 1 and Res CC, Ergis Siouxline Indigo. JW Sh cm.  A lovely class and spoilt for choice here! Winner has the ground clearance for ease of movement, sound legs and tight big feet. OK in head and nice broad jaws, elegant neck flowing into correct high placed withers and level back with a slight arch over loin. Powerful quarters in immaculate condition and he moves superbly. 2  Dunn’s Barratini Luke Lively at Ashridge.  Another top quality Red. So nice to go over and excellent in front and has a lovely body, also width through the chest, correct topline, good driving quarters, a bit too much loose skin, otherwise and close up. 3 Herrington’s Kathington Chance N Counter. 

V (3) 1 Herrington’s Lucky chance at Kathington. In wonderful nick for age, perfect mouth, broad jaws, lovely head and expression is so typical. Prominent forechest, well ribbed, neat rear and tail carriage, good muscular condition too and he moves very truely. Surprised he is not a champion. 2  Luke’s Corrieknowe Circassian. Another excellent veteran not co-operating standing but moved perfectly well. Smashing head and eyes, good bone and still has such lovely feet. Not quite the quarters of winner being a touch too high in hocks. 3 McFadyen’s Tamdach Taboo.

 

MPB (15) 1 Hunt’s Carpaccio Royal Silk A cracking class. The first five all stunners. Winner a classy B/T. Stands over a lot of ground due to her correct angulation and not through an overlong back, pleasing head and expression. Correct front and rear movements. A touch bum high as would be expected at this age and should settle given a few more months.  2 Sweet Delicious At Chelridge, Another beauty. So nice to go over and she too has a wonderful outline, both standing and in profile movement. She is going a little over wide going away, but truely in front, and she has great promise.

PB (10) 1 Carpaccio Royal Parade Lovely puppy, so scopy and well constructed, really lovely outline, OK in head, perhaps could do with a more almond eyeshape. Broad underjaw well laid shoulders, neat oval, front and nicely ribbed back. Sound face and a long stride in profile. 2 Sweet Delicious At Chelridge

JB (12) 1  Emmajesk Amelia A difficult class, some really high quality girls here. All worthy of a 1st! On the final run and just felt the rear of winner was covering a little more ground. She is a solid well balanced youngster, neat true front. Excellent topline and good rear angulation. In good coat too! 2 Shardagang San Tula At Bardachs, Always had my eye on her from the first look. I loved her height off the ground, super outline and correct size and shape. On the day she was a little out of coat and she has a bit more tan than ideal on her markings. High quality through and through.

PG (12) Res CC 1 Brocklewood Babycham JW Lovely red, sound and free moving. A bit short in foreface and rounded in back skull. Neat true front, well ribbed, fairly short loins, nice slight slope over croup and her outstanding movement won her the Res CC. 2 Dolyharp Pizzicato At Kireton, A little leggier which I preferred and she too can cover the ground moving. A bit short of upper arm and needs a touch more forechest. Keeps a super outline in profile, OK in head and a very elegant neck.

LB (14) CC BOB 1 Simply Red Ruby of Rivergate, Cracking red bitch, super to go over, very close to the standard and is topped by a lengthy typy head. Absolutely spot on moving and is a lovely size. I loved her. 2 Minimead Maid Specially, Also true moving and covers the ground very easily. Lovely to go over and has a good front and rear angulation. Her topline was not quite so steady as above but it was a close decision as she is of very high quality also.

OB (3) 1 Ch D'Arisca Golden Delicious, Two lovely bitches, winner a mite long in back perhaps but she has an exquisite head, eye and expression. Well set ears. Ideal front, neat rear, just could take an inch out of her length of back, present and handled very well indeed. 2 Ch & Ir Ch Carpaccio Shopaholic JW, Neat well put together stands well and holds a lovely outline in profile a bit shaky in rear and I did prefer the head of winner but this girl was correct for length of back and ribbing.

V (1) 1 Lyrosh Contessa Lucia, Perfect mouth and in super coat and body for 10yrs old, she is really a credit to her owner. A beauty really enjoying herself.
