PD (3) 1 Callow’s Garthorne Top Gear, b/t, beautiful head & eye, good neck set into correct shoulders, level topline, very good hindquarters, moved very well; 2 McAulay’s Elnside Woody Be Best, red of quality, good head, nice dark eye, good neck & shoulder, moved well; 3 Andison’s Clentry Nik The Biscuit. JD (6,2a) 1 Mitchell’s Bronia Lanfranco, very smart youngster, very well presented, red coat was gleaming, very well developed keel, terrific hindquarters, one of the best movers. RCC; 2 Mortlock’s Siouxline Magnus at Hertsmerry, b/t, top quality hound, lovely head & neck, tip top condition, moved very well; 3 Maxted’s Detravis Mr Bone Aparte von Lutscher. PGD (2) 1 Shutt’s Black Passion of Donnadoon, b/t, just loved his super movement, nice head, good neck & shoulder, good topline & hindquarters, great on the move; 2 Andison’s Clentry Red Hot Chillie Pepper, nice red, good head, nice front & feet, level topline, strong hindquarters, moved well. LD (3,1) 1 Melbourne’s Melriding De Lafayette, b/t, good head & eye, very good outline, nice front, moved well. The other entrant was overweight. OD (3) Only three entries but all of beautiful quality. 1 Callow’s Garthorne Garcia, has an air about him, super head & eye shape of darkest black, elegant neck, good front & keel, level topline, strong hindquarters, stunning mover. CC; 2 Luke’s Corrieknowe Circassian, top class head & neck, in tip top condition, strong body, lovely moving hound; 3 Melbourne’s Melriding Jerome.
PB (6) What a lovely class. 1 Russell’s Russteck Peatbog Fairy, super head & neck, good front & feet, correct topline, good depth of chest, very elegant mover. BP; 2 Hunt’s Carpaccio Royal Parade, very close to 1, same remarks apply; 3 Spencer’s Bannonbrig Not On Your Nelly. JB (7) 1 Williams & Rose’s Tythe Seabreeze, when she walked in the ring I thought she was my winner. Beautiful head, super eye & wow that neck, in first class condition. Although very sound, would keep pulling sideways, paid the penalty in the challenge; 2 Rowell’s Emmajesk Amelia, b/t, very good quality, lovely head, nice expression, good condition, very sound mover; 3 Mitchell’s Bronia Lucilla. PGB (9) Good class. 1 Williams & Rose’s Tythe Tempest, beautiful red of top quality, super head, lovely neck & front, good topline, strong hindquarters. Very sound but pulling to one side, get this movement sorted out & her & Seabreeze will go to the top; 2 Forrest’s Bute Fashionably Late, very good head, neck & shoulder, nice keel, good body, level topline, moved very well; 3 Potts’ D’Arisca Ocelot Orchid. LB (4) 1 Spencer’s Scalamor Sugar Stealer for Bannonbrig, just loved her head & expression, super neck & front, correct length of body, in excellent condition, moved very well to beat some good hounds for RCC; 2 McFadyn’s Tammys Girl at Tamdach, first class hound, lovely head, good front & feet, nice keel, good body, moved very well; 3 Somerville’s Maydays Dark Damsel of Peaselye. OB (4) 1 Coxon’s Ch/Am/Can Ch Grandgables Tickle My Fancy, have given this girl BOB 2 years ago, later people were saying ‘she’s got a bad head’, well I find this criticism totally unfounded, I think & did then. Super hound, movement is stunning. CC & BOB; 2 Callow’s Garthorne Leonie, very good head, nice dark eye, good neck & front, moved very well, presentation first class; 3 Tammys Girl at T.
