MINIATURE SMOOTH-HAIRED

MPD (6) 1 Blackburn's Shellsall Jettison. Very nice youngster with compact body, good head and reach of neck, well angulated hindquarters, super bone, moved well. 2 Burton's Swingletrees Ready Teddy Go. Another nice puppy with good shoulders and length and depth of ribbing, moved well. 3 Andison & Peel's Stargang Ferrari. PD (7) 1 Coxon's On The Double D'Arisca. Very appealing b/t with super reach of neck, well placed shoulders, good front and forechest, well angulated hindquarters, moving truly but just needing a bit more confidence. 2 Metcalfe's Metadale Super Sid. Again another very nice b/t with little to choose between 1 & 2, preferred Sid's head and expression but just preferred the front on the winner. 3 Mead's Minimead Minisota completing a trio of lovely puppies. JD (2) A disappointing class after the two nice puppy classes. 1 Herrington's Kathington Coeur De Lion. Attractive b/t with bright tan, nice head and expression with dark eye, kept level topline, moved soundly. 2 Shutt's Just Dreaming At Donnadoon Choc, good head and reach of neck, well angulated hindquarters, nice barrelled ribbing, just preferred the feet and shoulders of the winner. PGD (5,0) 1 McAulay's Elnside Woody Be Best. Compact red of nice type, pleasing front, length and depth of ribbing, well angulated hindquarters, moved soundly. 2 Herrington's Kathington Coeur De Lion. 3 Gorman's Merehill Without Doubt At Gordax. LD (5) 1 Callow's Garthorne Top Gear. Well balanced b/t with super front and well placed shoulders, pleasing head and expression, strong well angulated hindquarters which he used to move with purpose. 2 Roberts Denver Midnight Sun. Very close decision here, a quality red of excellent type and nice construction all through, super feet, just preferred the free flowing movement of Top Gear. 3 Melbourne's Melriding Jerome. OD (7,0) 1 Melbourne's Melriding Post Hac Meliori Quality b/t in lovely condition, good length of neck running into well laid back shoulders, excellent front, good depth and length of ribbing, super tight feet as were all from this kennel, strong well angulated hindquarters giving sound driving and positive action. Very pleased to award him a 2nd CC and I hope the third will not be far away. 2 Moes Ch. Au.Nz. Deercroft Discover With Carpaccio. Attractive b/t with excellent shoulders and hindquarters, good barrelled ribbing, a bit lower to ground than 1. in lovely condition, moved well at all times. Res. CC. 3 Coxon & Melbourne's Melriding De Lafayette. MPB (8,0) 1 Blackburn's Bennett's Stargang Lotus Elite. Very eye catching 8 month old brindle with lovely flowing lines, quality all through and excellent outline kept at all times, I liked her a lot. Best Puppy & RBPIS. 2 Mcaulays Elnside Lady In The Making. Another quality puppy with beautiful head and expression with dark eye. Compact and well bodied with excellent hindquarters, moved well keeping a level topline. 3 Fulcher's Swingletrees Dark Secret At Khandibah. PB (8,1) Another quality class. It is pleasing to see 1st and 2nd have the same sire as Minor Puppy Bitch 1st & 2nd and the puppy dog winner. 1 McAulays Elnside Truffles For One Similar in type to Minor Puppy winner, very elegant b/t well handled and presented, beautiful head, reachy neck, well laid back shoulders, good length of ribbing and strong well angulated hindquarters. Moved effortlessly with drive. 2 Coxon's Rose Darque At D'Arisca. A close decision here and similar remarks apply, again a lovely puppy just thought the winner had a slight edge in movement. 3 Sheppherd's Thystine Red Brocade. JB (8,1) 1 Robinson's D'Arisca Barratini Bouquet. Elegant and well constructed b/t in excellent condition, I liked her a lot and she is hot on the heels for top honours. 2 Melbourne's Barratini Hubble Bubble At Melriding JW. Nice shape bitch a little heavier in type, very low with excellent bone and super feet, moved soundly. 3 McAulays Elnside Secret Love. PGB (10,2) 1 Mead's Minimead Miz Lucy Lou. Well balanced b/t with good construction throughout but she is not happy showing and does not do herself justice. 2 Melbourne's Melriding Creole Lady. Lovely head and expression, excellent bone and well bodied but a little longer than 1. Moved well but not happy. 3 Roberts Denver Darling Blossom Hill. LB (6,0) 1 Rowell's Emmajesk Amelia JW Sh CM Nicely made all through and kept a good outline both standing and moving, very well handled. 2 Callow's Garthorne Lady Louisa My notes say not much to choose between 1 & 2. I just preferred the head on Louisa but movement on winner. 3 Andison & Peel's Clentry Forget Me Not. OB (10,0) This was an excellent class with quality bitches right down the line. 1 Coxon's Ch D'Arisca Golden Delicious. I have always admired this one and she is so lovely to go over, everything flows and oozes quality from nose to tail and she demands attention when moving around the ring. Just back in the ring following maternity leave. Congratulations CC & BOB. 2 Callow's Garthorne Gazania. Again a quality bitch in tip top condition, she caught my eye immediately and I loved everything about her. Stacked I thought she would be the winner but just preferred movement of Delicious, unlucky to meet her today. I see they have the same sire. Res. CC. 3 Blackburn-Bennett's Shardagang Illusion.
