MIN SMOOTH HAIRED
PD (4,1) 1 Williams & Jones’ Cwmdarhian Billy the Kid, red, sound front
assembly and prominent keel, bunched feet, attractive head although ears a
little thick, correct topline, best mover in the class. 2 Phillips’ Minimead
Montmorency, very much a baby at 7 months so needs to develop, correct head and
eye, good neck and body proportions. 3 Burton’s Swingletrees Just in Time.
PGD (3,1) 1) & RBD Orton’s Cagebrook Thyme To Go to Scalamor,
red, attractive head, sound front, well padded tight feet, good height/length
ratio, cuts up just a shade. 2 Phillips’ Jentiki Red Chilli Pepper, red from a
longer mould, typical head properties, would like more ground clearance.
OD (4,1) 1 & BD Williams’ Cymdarhian Benjamin Button, b/t, at 11 months
young for this class but stood out here, I liked his head and front complete
with good feet, smooth ribbing, firm musculature, moved with confidence. 2
Burton’s Swingletrees Ready-Teddy-Go, clear red, longer and lower than the one
above, attractive head, could body up to advantage. 3 Winchurch’s Brianolf
Malachite.
PB (6,1) 1 Hunt’s Cwmdaharian Carry On Cleo at Carpaccio, sweet b/t who
stood out, well developed for her age, has overall balance and quality, lovely
head and eye, even front, smooth ribbing, correct for height/length ratio and
ground clearance, moved out confidently. 2 Ergis’ Cagebrook Stella Maris by
Siouxline, sweet b/t who is rather similar in make and shape to the one above,
attractive typy head, well padded feet, prominent keel, good body proportions,
confident on the move. 3 Muggleton’s Mosiarto Nora Batty.
PGB (10,2) 1 Kerry’s Kireton Agnes, b/t who stood out in the class,
sweet head, prominent keel, tight well padded feet, good topline, correct
height/length ratio, scores in hindquarters, a wee bit apprehensive today. 2
Orton’s Scalamor Polyanthus, sweet red who is sound and typy, nice head, ok for
depth and height/length ratio, good feet, all of a piece. 3 Paterson’s
Shardagang Ebony Sea at Ambiesque.
OB (5) 1 BB & BOB Hunt’s Ch Carpaccio Royal Parade JW, b/t, gorgeous
stylish bitch out of the top drawer, beautiful and typical head, even front and
bunched feet, elegant neck, prominent keel, particularly good ribbing and
underline, excellent angulation fore and aft, in well muscled condition and such
a good mover. 2 & RBB Ergis’ Siouxline April Folly, red, another beautiful
quality bitch of such lovely breed type, becoming head and eye, prominent
forechest, tight well padded feet, particularly good in height/length ratio and
commendable ground clearance, moves with panache, one for the upper house. 3
Kerry’s Dolyharp Pizzicato at Kireton.
