MINIATURE SMOOTH-HAIRED

I was pleased with the entry I received, but disappointed that quite a number of exhibits had bad hind action and were not moving with drive or showing their pads. However, I was pleased with my overall winners.

PD(4, 1) 1 Williams’ Cwmdarhian Billy The Kid. Good head and reach of neck, well made front and nice length of ribbing, good feet, would like more drive behind, but he is still only a baby. 2 Salisbury’s Willowheath Just William At Brocklewood. Close decision between first and second, again good head and reach of neck, nice outline, well ribbed and well developed quarters. Two promising puppies. 3 Orton’s Cagebrook Thyme To Go To Scalamor.

JD(4) 1 Roberts’ Denver Darling Echo Falls. Very promising shaded red dog with a bright future, super construction, excellent front and shoulder placement, good depth of keel, nice feet, well made quarters which he used to advantage on the move. RCC. 2 Salisbury’s Willowheath Just William Of Brocklewood. 3 Williams’ Cwmdarhian Benjamin Button.

PGD(2) 1 Blackburn’s Sonderbar Ben At Stargang (Imp). Another promising youngster, lovely red dog with pleasing head and good reach of neck, excellent front and well proportioned body, good angulated quarters which he used well on the move. 2 Lashbrook’s Pynlkspring Toffee Dream. Nice head and reach of neck, would prefer a little more forechest and angulation and lower to ground.

LD(5, 1) 1 Mead’s Minimead Mysta O’Riley. B/tan with excellent construction, lovely head and good reach of neck, excellent front and depth of keel, good underline and well angulated quarters which he used to advantage on the move. CC. 2 Kent’s Barratini Jeeves At Lokmadi JW. Good head and reach of neck, nicely made but would like more angulated shoulders and stronger quarters. 3 Bourne’s Yaapet Uriel.

OD(5, 2) 1 Roberts’ Ch Denver Midnight Sun. Lovely dark red with pleasing head and reach of neck, well angulated shoulders, good underline and depth of keel, strong quarters which he used to advantage on the move. 2 Siouxline Maverick JW ShCM. Shaded red with nice head and good reach of neck, similar type to first and the same remarks apply but on the move not covering the ground as well. 3 Siouxline Magnus At Hertsmerry.

PB (11, 4) 1 Hughes’ Julidacs Jamila. B/tan puppy with good head and reach of neck, excellent shoulder placement, good depth of keel, well developed quarters which she used very well on the move. 2 Young’s Willowheath Hermione. Shaded red, nice compact puppy with excellent front, good ribbing and angulation, super quarters and moved out with plenty of drive, both these puppies should have a bright future. 3 Spencer’s Chelridge Christabel.

JB(11, 3) 1 Ergis’ Siouxline April Folly JW. Another promising red youngster with a lovely outline, good reach of neck, nice ribbing and depth of keel, well angulated quarters, really covered the ground on the move. 2 Orton‘s Scalamor Belle Heather. Shaded red, yet another promosing junior with nice head and reach of neck, good, well made front and spring of rib, well angulated quarters which she used well on the move. 3 Roberts’ Denver Darling Misty Blue.

PGB(7, 3) 1 Shuker’s Yewlitt Amelia. B/t with lovely head and good reach of neck, excellent front and ribbing, nice depth of keel, well angulated and correct quarters, on the move she was well balanced and kept her topline. RCC. 2 Muggleton’s Mosiarto Beautiful Belle. Shaded red with good head and reach of neck, nice front and quarters, moved well. 3 West’s Ardenrun Stanley’s Girl.

LB(5) 1 Blackburn-Bennett’s Stargang Lotus Elite. Brindle bitch, pleasant head and excellent front, good reach of neck, nice underline, strong quarters which she used well on the move. 2 Bursey’s Hartlake Sweet Damson. Black and tan bitch with nice head and reach of neck, nice feet, good front and depth of keel, well angulated quarters, moved with plenty of drive. 3 Seath’s Sunsong Sea Mist.

OB(6, 2) 1 Ergis’ Siouxline Cinderella JW. Red bitch with lovely outline and movement, nice head and reach of neck, good front construction and depth of keel, well developed quarters and really covered the ground on the move. CC and BOB. Delighted to see her win 2nd in the Hound Group. 2 Muggleton’s Mosiarto Forget Me Not. B/t, nice head with good reach of neck, well developed front, level topline, good quarters which she used well on the move. 3 Kent’s Barratini Danneka At Lokmadl.
