DACHSHUND - MINIATURE SMOOTH HAIRED

PD (3) 1. Coxon's Garthorne Peter Pan, typy head with good depth of chin. Good reach of neck and well made front. Good body shape for age and stood over the ground well. Sound mover. 2. Hunt and Tarn's Poughleyvale Magic Man at Carpaccio, higher set and not as strong in type as 1. Good body and feet, lost his topline in profile moving. 3. Jones' Cumdalian Supe Trooper.

JD (1) 1. Blackburn's Welcumen Red Rum at Stargang, houndy type, good length of muzzle, eye a little round. Well set front and clean shoulder. Well boned down, sound mover, just lacked fluidity in hind profile movement in challenge. RCC.

PGD (1) 1. Shutt's Donnadoon Le Mousqquetaire, compact build, good front construction and reach of neck. OK in ribbing. hort of second thigh and moved erratically.

LD (2) 1. Jamieson's Djeata Midnight Sun, best of fronts and overall shape. Mature body and good depth. Strong muscletone which detracted from his hind movement. 2. Kent's Lokmadi Ocean's Eleven, red of diferent type but not length of upper arm, nor topline of 1. Untidy in front movement but sound enough behind.

OD (2) 1. Coxon's Ch. D'Arisca I Do Declare, lovely type and makeup. Strong, well made front. Good shape of body, maybe could be more compact but soundest of movers and really used his hindquarters. CC. 2. Jamison's Ir. Ch. Barisse Spreads The Magic with Smartdac, not as typy nor as positive in construction as 1.More compact in makeup but lacked drive to hindquarters and strength of topline.

PB (7,3) 1. Kent's Kiswahili Linda Lokmadi, Won here on overall shape and type. Sweet, feminine head with good depth of chin. Well set on front and good spring of rib. Strong hind movement. 2. Welham's Lokmadi Gypsy at Barryann, similar type to 1 with good body development. Just not as positive all through but a little younger. 3. Blackburn-Bennett's Cwmdarhian Burning Affair at Stagang.

JB (3) 1. Welham's Barratini Janet Jackson at Barryann, best for overall shape. Clean shoulder, good keel. Straight front. Lovely overall shape, just needs to mature. Sound mover. RCC, BP. 2. Morrison's Benzden Red Door, typy red of good construction. More compact but carry puppy fat which detarcted from her overall outline. Sound mover. 3. Crowley's Stargang Arya.

PGB (3) 1. Kent's Lokmadi Hidden Dragon, won on overall quality and shape. Good reach of neck, well made front. Well balanced allthrough, strongest hind movement. Moved soundly. 2. Weir's D'Arisca Dark Dahlia of Ambreglo, typy but not set of neck into shoulder of 1. Shorter ribbed and stood under herself in hindquarters. Liked her type and overall makeup but needed to selling herself more. 3. Dunne's Honig Little Miss India.

LB (4) 1. Coxon's D'Arisca Damsel in a Dress, nice bitch of good shape, not my favourite head but good front and body shape. Moved soundly. 2. Morrison's Benzdean Eesat Tease, preferred this stronger head and pushed hard but not length of hindquarters, but otherwise a similar bitch, moved well. 3. Dunne's Honig Honey Bunch.

OB (5) 1. Mitchell's Bronia Fabrizia, red loved this type. Feminine head, so well balanced without exaggerations. Compact build, held her topline on the move and was sound and light on her feet. CC and BOB. 2. Coxon's D'Arisca Be Dazzled, similar in makeup but of different type. Good to go over but just lacked the reach in front of 1. Sound mover. 3. Hunt's Cwmdarhian Back to Alabama at Carpaccio.
