I would like to thank all competitors and
their dogs for such a nice day, with an Entry of 30 the dogs which were
presented well and in good condition, fitness where better in some than others,
I found no bad mouths and, on the whole, coats in general were good, I did find
some dogs narrow in the front which does not help heart room, in a dog. I am
sure this will be addressed in time. Temperaments were generally good and that
was pleasing to find. Overall, an enjoyable day.
pd (5) 1 Williams' Cwmdarhian Licence To Kill A well presented puppy
with a good strong head, good ear set and reach of neck good lay of shoulder
with good bone and ribbing, kept top line on the move and drove equally from
behind with strong quarters a well put together dog, with correct coat. Should
have a bright future. Would prefer a bit more front but he has time to develop
more. 2 Mead's Lokmadi Blushing Groom at Minimead A different type to the first
with good strong head, with good shaped almond eye, good reach of neck, nicely
ribbed, just lost a bit of top line on the move this will improve with his age.
Correct coat well presented and handled.
jd (3) 1 Shelton's Barisse A Touch Of Magic. A neat dog with lots to
like a good strong masculine head good bone, strong pigmentation, good depth of
front kept top line on the move. Good clearance and overall good proportions and
good angulation with strong back end. A well presented dog. RBD. 2 Williams'
Cwmdarhian Sundance Kid with a good reach of neck and ear set, good lay of
shoulder and front, and well muscled, would have preferred slightly more
ribbing, good angulation. Kept a top line on the move. Well presented.
pgd (5) 1 Phillips' Jentki Red Chilli Pepper. Very strong hound head
good shaped almond eyes, good lay of shoulder, A good texture to the coat would
prefer to see the point of hock to be straighter, otherwise a well presented
dog. 2 Burton's Swingletrees Just-in-time Good shaped head with good reach of
neck correct coat, good angulation a little too long for correct proportions,
nice and confident in the ring, just tended to lose top line on the move.
od (4) 1 Williams' Cwmdarhian Cant touch This Strong correct head with
good shaped almond Eyes, well ribbed and lay of shoulder sound throughout.
Carried top line and kept it on the move good set tail with well muscled
quarters, well presented and handled.BOB BD and went on to Hound Gp 3. 2
Watkinson's Manakoora Hawaian Amaklhl Strong head with Almond eyes Good reach of
neck and lay of shoulder, nicely Ribbed not as well angulated as the first. A
good top line on the move, well presented and handled.
pb (6) 1 Puppy Bitch Hunt's Cwmdarhian Back To Alabama at Carpaccio
There is a lot to like I absolutely fell for this puppy. Excellent front with a
good lay of shoulder and reach of neck. The head was a feminine but still a good
hound look. Correct proportions throughout, not over angulated with good strong
quarters for one so young. Correct length, in excellent condition, kept top line
on the move and drove out, when stacked looked a picture. A confident puppy
Presented and handled well. My BP and went on to Hound Puppy Gp 3. 2 Ergis
Melbourne and Holdsworth's Siouxline Alliance with Melriding. Another nice puppy
with a good strong head and reach of neck. Slightly longer in length, with good
angulation, drove from behind and kept a top line on the move, well presented
and handled well.
jb (1) 1 Blackham's Deersleep Jingle Belle A little shy of the ring so
did not quite give its all, Good head, and reach of neck, correct length of
ribbing, tended to dip on the move so lost a bit of topline, I would put that
down to being a bit shy. Correct coat and tidy feet, well presented.
pgb (5) 1 Watkinson's Manakoora Boobie. Correct head with a shaped
almond eye, very good reach of neck correct length of ribbing. neat and strong
quarters well muscled. Kept a level top line on the move and drove from behind.
At point of hock to foot nice and straight. Balanced temperament, well presented
and handled well. RBB. 2 Burton's Swingletrees Amazing Grace head with a good
shaped almond eye, Good reach of neck, well ribbed a little long in length, for
proportions, good angulation and strong quarters, straight from point of hock to
foot, with tidy feet. Good temperament, well presented.
ob (4) 1 Hunt's Cwmdarhian Carry On Cleo at Carpaccio JW. This Bitch
has a feminine head with a good shape almond eyes, with a correct forechest and
good reach of neck, good ribbing, would have liked a little more angulation
behind, kept the top line on the move, with a nice and forward going movement
and with drive behind. Good temperament and well presented. BB. 2 Watkinson's
Manakoora Pandaus. Strong head with a good reach of neck and lay of shoulder.
Would prefer a bit more ribbing, correct tail set with strong quarters, good
angulation kept a top line on the move. was well presented and handled well.
