MPD (6, 1a) 1.res. CC & Best Puppy,
Burton's Singletrees Razzmatazz. Most handsome red baby, already very well
finished and with a balanced outline, held so well on the move. Lovely head and
expression, nicely angulated front with proper forechest, good ground clearance,
firm topline, well angulated hindquarters. Cheerful and very free and smooth
mover. I was most impressed with this young dog! 2 Siouxline Levi. Another most
attractive red boy, very well balanced overall but more short coupled and
presenting a different outline. Somewhat more forward set shoulder, excellent
ground clearance, firm topline, hindquarters of more medium angulation,
excellent tailset. Active and free mover. 3 Swingletrees Abracadabra. I have
noted that these three are half-brothers. PD (4) 1 Singletrees
Razzmatazz. 2 Ardenrun Aeron into Minimead. Very attractive red baby, a bit
older, so somewhat bigger all over. Very nice head, excellent neck and forehand,
good firm topline, nicely angulated hindquarters, but at present tends to sink
here while standing. Free and active mover. 3 Swingletrees Abracadabra.
JD (2, 1a) 1 Scott's Wolferlow Captain Bellamy. B/t dog of good outline
and balance, nicely angulated quarters but not very strong in topline, giving
the impression of being bum-high. Excellent ground clearance, good strong
driving rear action. PGD (6) 1 Mead's Lokmadi Blushing Groom
for Minimead. Nineteen month old b/t dog of lovely type and outline, stood out
in this class. Very pleasant head, good neck well set into very good shoulders
and forehand. Very well coupled and has a firm topline. Nicely angulated
hindquarters and moved really well here with drive. Smooth ground covering
movement. 2 Yewlitt Dougal. Still a junior, this b/t boy is somewhat bigger,
while still correct size. Nice head, good front and deep body, while maintaining
correct ground clearance. Firm in topline, nicely finished over the croup and
tailset. 3 Picollo Teckel Agent Provocateur. LD (11) 1 Roberts'
Denver Darling Harry Potter. A very uneven class, so many different (familiar)
types, headed by two beautiful b/t dogs. Winner scores on a beautiful outline,
perhaps with somewhat less ground clearance, but so well proportioned. Nice
masculine head, good front and forequarters, nicely padded feet, Excellent firm
topline, standing well on nicely angulated hindquarters. Free and ground
covering movement. 2 Siouxline Zebedee. Very forward and well finished 13 month
old b/t boy, beautifully presented. Very nice head, very good neck and forehand,
excellent topline. Good wide hindquarters. Just did not reach out as freely on
the mover as the winner. 3 Clentry Black Pudding. OD (6, 2a) 1
and CC Coxon's Ch. D'Arisca I Do Declare. Mature and beautifully finished b/t
dog, with an all-over look of quality. Such a beautiful outline in this dog, he
is so in balance. Lovely masculine head, lovely neck so smoothly set into his
withers, so a very well angulated forehand. Could perhaps have more ground
clearance and more padded feet. Good capacious body, firm in topline, well set
croup and tail, good hindquarters. Smooth and efficient mover. 2 Kathington
Coeur de Lion. Another b/t dog of quality, different in proportions to winner,
but again a very lovely dog. Rather stronger in head, beautifully defined
colouring, strong neck, rather more forward set shoulder and forequarters,
Excellent topline, coupling and rear quarters. Free mover. 3. Cwmdarnian Cant
Touch This. VD (1) 1 & Best Veteran Barber's Ch. Melriding
Meruisti. Such a lovely little dog, b/t and nine years "young". Overall a really
well balanced outline, such a nice head and expression, Excellent front
quarters, firm in topline, and strong in hindquarters still. Free and active
mover and a great credit to his owner for keeping him in such lovely condition.
MPB (10, 2a) 1 Burton's Swingletrees Eiderdown. Red litter sister to
the Puppy dog winner and very similar in most respects. Very nice head, good
neck and forehand, scores on her well padded feet. Nice topline, wide
hindquarters a free & happy mover. 2 Lokmadi Paper Tiger. Lovely b/t baby,
somewhat longer in coupling. Sweet feminine had, very good neck smoothly set
into withers, firm topline, lovely strong hindquarters. Another fluid and free
mover. 3 Lokmadi Morning Cloud at Zarosa. PB (9, 2a) 1
Salisbury's Brocklewod Calypso. Beautiful red bitch, very mature for her age and
so well finished. Very nice head, possibly a bit strong over the skull, good
neck and very well angulated forehand . Capacious body without losing ground
clearance, excellent firm topline, strong and wide over the croup and
hindquarters. Very free and active mover. 2 Swingletrees Eiderdown. 3 Mylforbe
Fleur de Lys at Kelmbecks. JB (17, 4a) 1 Roberts' Bronia
Caprice to Denver. Such a lovely outline and type in this b/t bitch; and she
scored first of all on her beautiful and free movement. Beautiful head and
expression, good neck well set into excellent forehand, lovely firm topline and
finish over the rear quarters. Strangely enough she can stand somewhat
cow-hocked, but is lovely and true going away. 2 Carpaccio Crimson Ribbon at
Milfer. Very nice red bitch, who scored on her lovely free and true movement.
Very nice nead and expression, very nicely angulated forehand, firm topline,
hindquarters of more medium angulation. 3 Barratini Janet Jackson at Barryann.
YB (10, 2) 1 Ergis, Melbourne & Holdsworth's Sioux Alliance
with Melriding Lovely b/t bitch, such a happy little showgirl, free and active
mover. Lovely head, good neck and reasonable shoulder, set rather forward, long
upper arm setting her elbows far back, well ribbed body, excellent topline and
finish over the hindquarters. Lovely and distinct colouring. 2 Melriding
Berengaria Very nice bitch, again very well presented and of lovely type and
outline. Nice head, rather more rounded over the skull, good neck and nice
forehand, excellent topline and coupling. Well angulated hindquarters, very good
and free mover. 3 Kenxiam Love Hearts by Scalamor. LB (12, 1) 1
Ergis' Siouxline Aurora. Lovely red bitch, so well coupled . Sweet head and
expression, lovely clean neck, forequarters nicely angulated and with excellent
ground clearance and well padded feet. Firm topline, more moderate
hindangulation, rather deeper tailset. very free and active mover. 2 Golden
Algonquinette of Melriding. Such a lovely outline in this red bitch, beautiful
head and expression. Good neck and well balanced front, a bit more loose over
elbows, feet could be more well padded, Lovely body, topline and finish over the
hindquarters, where she stands so strongly. Excellent free sideaction. 3 Bronia
Fabrizia. OB (6, 4) 1 CC and Best of Breed: Coxon's D'Arisca
Damson in a Dress. Yearling b/t bitch of wonderful type and outline. I note as I
write this that she has the same sire as my dog CC winner. Nice feminine head,
although could be more elegant over the skull; lovely neck, excellent neckset
and such a well balanced front. Lovely capacious body, firm topline and
excellent coupling. Beautiful rear quarters, and tailset. Free and active
groundcovering movement. 2 Cwmdarian Back to Alabama at Carpaccio. Another
beautiful bitch, again a yearling b/t, very nice head, good neck, well angulated
forehand, excellent ground clearance, good body, somewhat rounded in underline.
Firm topline, good strong well angulated hindquarters. Free and easy mover.
VB (5, 3) 1 and res CC Mitchell's Bronia Lucidissima I was very taken
with this eight year old b/t bitch, a bitch scoring on her overall balance and
lovely outline. Pleasant head, lovely expression. Very good over the
forequarters, good body, pleasantly plump, excellent coupling, very good
angulation of hindquarters, stands well up on her legs. Very nice balanced side
action, no exaggeration here. It is probably well known by now that I have a
particular fondness for Veterans while judging for if they have kept well, then
the construction must have been particularly good to start with! 2 Simply Red
Ruby of Rivergate. Seven year old red bitch, full of character and never stops
waving her tail, so sweet. Nice old fashioned head, rather narrow muzzle, very
upright neck set. Nicely angulated front, firm topline, hindquarters strong.
Cheerful mover.
