DACHSHUND - MINIATURE SMOOTH HAIRED
PD (8, 1) 1 & BD,
Swingletrees Razzamatazz. Thought this young boy to be of exceptionally high
standard, he has all the makings of a top quality example of the breed. Stunning
head into good length of neck firm topline, good ground clearance. Well
angulated front and rear. Moving well all round, missed out on BOB due to his
immaturity. 2 Solar Flare At Mosiarto. Another very pleasing young male,
slightly different in type, however, he is very well proportioned, good
development of forechest, with complimentary front angulation. Rear quarters
need a little time to firm up. 3 Cwmdarhian It The Road Jack.
PGD(2, 1) 1 Swingletrees Just-In-Time. Very similar in type to winner
of PD, pleasing head type, longer cast in body and not as well boned, needs time
to body up. Has very broad, close knit, well arched feet. Needs to settle on the
move.
OD (6, 2) 1 &Res BD, Metadale Nikolai Of Melriding. A moderate dog all
through, pleasing head into well muscled neck, moderate front and rear
angulation, well ribbed back. Best mover in the class which gave him the edge. 2
Mosiarto Mister Motivator. Pleasing head and neck, plenty of length of back,
could possibly benefit from being more ribbed back with a more compact loin
which would firm up the topline. Used himself very well on the move, full of
character and confidence. 3 Jentiki Red Chili Pepper Of Robinswood.
PB(8, 2) 1, BB &BOB, Brocklewood Calypso. Winner of a very strong
class, where many could change places on another day, this one edged the class
on her type and instant look of quality, coupled with her correct height to
length ratio, firm topline and correct ground clearance, honest front and
profile action just needs to settle on the rear. 2 Swingletrees Eiderdown.
Another of quality and good type, a more refined immature bitch that needs time
to fill into herself, as she was very much the baby of the class. Good front and
profile action, but another that needs to settle on the rear action. 3 Garthorne
Little Eva.
PGB (12, 8) 1 Swingletrees Amazing Grace. This one really appealed to
me for a very good head piece, which was enhanced by her medium sized, dark
almoned shaped eye that was set obliquely. Long muscular well arched neck into
well angulated shoulders. Would like her to be more ribbed back. Very pleasing
to watch on the move. 2 Duddondax Beatrix Potter. This one was shorter and
thicker set than class winner. Would like her to have tighter feet and stronger
rear quarters. 3 Bronia Carmina At Imirika.
OB(7, 1) 1 BB &BOB, Cwmdarhian Back To Alabama At Carpaccio JW. An
ultra smart bitch that demanded attention on instantly entering the ring. She
has the most amazing head piece that is enhanced by her proud head carriage well
developed forechest and forequarters. Excellent length of back with firm well
muscled loin. Was a real pleasure to watch on the move where she is outstanding.
2 &RBB, Golden Algonquinette Of Melriding. This one was very unlucky to be
standing second as she is also a very high quality example of the breed, who has
many attributes. She also has an instant look of quality and is very difficult
to fault on the stand, however I just preferred the rear movement of the winner
on the day. 3 Cwmdarhian Kiss Me Quick At Duddondax.
