Overall comment would be that teeth in young dogs should be addressed as a few were dirty, nails also. Overall type is very good & temperaments were excellent. Thank you Bath committee for asking me to judge & competitors for your entries, I enjoyed my day.
PD (6,1a) 1 RBD, Ergis’ Siouxline Flynn Rider, lovely clear red dog, masculine head, oval front, good length of ribbing & upper arm, good ground clearance enabling him to move so well; 2 Kent’s Lokmadi A Boy Named Sue, longer type, deep chest, head & eye shape good, moved well, preferred overall balance of 1; 3 Millward’s Lokmadi Distant Thunder at Alouann. JD (4,1) 1 Hunt’s Mylforbe Matchmaker at Carpaccio, b/t dog, excellent reach of neck & long ribbing, straight coming & going away, moved with drive, good tight feet; 2 Dunhill’s Santoma Adam for Gellijam, nice dog of good size, looked better stacked than on the move, lost his topline at times, good keel & ribbing, not the presence of 1; 3 Latham’s Dapply Daxi. JD (1) A. LD (1) 1 Smith’s Bronia Gregorio, topline level, good front assembly, hind angulation excellent, thought his head not as masculine as I would have liked, but overall nice type. OD (2) 1 BD, Muggleton’s Mosiarto Mister Big, very smart red dog of good size, very compact, moved well, angles all correct, ribbing excellent, seemed to enjoy his day; 2 Latham’s Dapply Daxi, attractive choc/dapple, very much a baby, very roly poly, difficult to assess movement, could go overweight at early age, strong masculine head for such a baby.
PB (9,2) 1 BP, Salisbury’s Brocklewood Black Rose, very smart b/t bitch, at just coming a year, good outgoing temperament, correct size, nice feminine head, ribbing & hind angulation good, good future I am sure; 2 Ergis’ Siouxline Rapunzel with Melriding, typy red bitch, well constructed throughout, good eye shape, length of neck & ribbing, still very much a baby, will be one to watch; 3 Stokes’ Webbers Swansong. JB (5) 1 Scott’s Wolferlow Anthea, again a super b/t bitch, classic shape, good front & shoulder placement, level topline, covered the ground well, liked her head, very much her father’s daughter; 2 B Black Rose, just lost out to 1 in maturity, but very similar comments; 3 Reed’s Deercroft Spring Promise. PGB (6,5) 1 Whitney’s Arbennik Scarlett Fury, smart bitch of good overall type, level topline held on the move, strode well around the ring, good shoulder placement & well angulated hindquarters. LB (4,1) 1 RBB, Muggleton’s Mosiarto Miss Understood, nice b/t girl of good overall proportions, lovely front assembly, very balanced on the move, held topline well, tight feet; 2 A Scarlett Fury, not quite the finish of 1, although nice overall type. OB (5) 1 BB & BOB, Ergis’ Ch Siouxline Aurora, very elegant red girl, strode around the ring with ease, proving her well constructed front & hind angulation, feminine head & expression, loved her, worthy champion; 2 Child-Thomas’ Ch Siouxline April Folly, similar to 1, as you would expect same sire, like peas in a pod, not quite the movement of 1, nevertheless well constructed all through; 3 Merry’s Ch Siouxline Thomasina.
