MPD (7,3a) 1 CC, BOB & BP, Paterson’s Kinzel Hidden Promise, very aptly named exhibit, so very well balanced & constructed from all angles & perspectives, refined & balanced head of pleasing proportions, keen eye & expression, super neck & topline, good length & expanse of ribcage, strong & powerful loin, balanced construction of his front & rear assemblies with good elbow placement & athletic & powerful quarters, gave a very good account of himself on the move with an easy flowing & effortless stride; 2 Phillips’ Arbennik St Thomas of Robinswood, pleasing for overall balance & style, deep body with adequate ground clearance, firm topline, good length & expanse of rib, shapely quarters, well angled croup, not quite the ease & fluidity of movement of the winner; 3 Heptinstall’s Pascalli Blue Moon. PD (3) 1 K Hidden Promise; 2 Hunt’s Mylforbe Matchmaker at Carpaccio, an appealing youngster, pleasing overall pattern, good length of neck with clean flow into topline, balanced body proportions, adequate ground clearance, just a shade overdone in back skull & going a little wide at the rear; 3 Protheroe’s Grandgables Crafty Lil Devil at Royalmaple. JD (1) 1 Melbourne’s D’arisca Flaunt It at Melriding, pleasing type & pattern with a look of breeding & quality, refined conical head with good balance of muzzle to skull, clean neck, firm topline, ample length of rib, well coupled with powerful loin, would like a little more length of upper arm & for elbows to fit closer to body, a little wide when going away. PGD (4,2) 1 Daykin’s Barratini Jonny Cash, quality exhibit with much appeal, flowing outline with pleasing depth of body & correct length to height proportions & good ground clearance, balanced head with pleasing eye & expression, firm topline which he held nicely on the move, a steady & positive mover; 2 Nolan’s Kelmbeck Lord Of The Dance at Eddyval, honest sort with some very pleasing breed characteristics, balanced head with pleasing eye & expression, a little light in body, would like a firmer topline & a better lay of shoulder & return of upper arm which would give him more scope on the move. LD (8,1) 1 Muggleton’s Mosiarto Mister Motivator, an appealing exhibit with obvious style & quality, excels topline & overall body proportions, pleasing front assembly with elbows well set under body, moved with a stylish efficient gait & always carrying his tail correctly; 2 Smith & Connor’s Bronia Gregorio, stylish exhibit with an immediate appeal, pleasing head, eye, neck & topline, ample length of rib but somewhat longer in loin than winner & not quite the same degree of complimentary balance of his front & rear assemblies so just not quite as stylish or as positive on the move as the winner; 3 Punter’s Welcumen Guinness. OD (7,1) 1 RCC, Ergis’ Ch Siouxline Levi, a top drawer exhibit with an abundance of appealing qualities, very pleasing head properties, head carried on a strong & muscular neck, good length of body with firm topline, decent coupling, powerful rearquarters, just thought that the CC winner just had the edge in shoulder placement & a little something extra on the move; 2 Blackburn-Bennett’s Stargang Avenger, very typical of the style & quality produced by this well known & successful kennel, refined & balanced head with a good eye & expression, clean & well muscled neck of good length, pleasing length & expanse of rib, well coupled with strong loin, shapely quarters, not quite as steady in back action as those that beat him on the day; 3 Roberts’ Ch Denver Darling Harry Potter. VD (1) 1 BV, Sim’s Little Wizard of Kelmbeck, pleasing head with typical eye & expression, clean & muscular neck of good length, would have preferred his ribcage to extend a little further back & showing a tendency to roach his top line on the move.
MPB (11,1) 1 Paterson’s Jazzeebee Fire Babe, striking quality & style, refined & well balanced head of conical appearance with pleasing earset & carriage, strong neck flowing smoothly into firm topline, deep & powerful body with good ribbing & strong loin, we developed quarters, full of herself with attitude & personality on the move; 2 Kent’s Lokmadi Goodnight Irene, pleasing patter & of good type, clean & muscular neck, typical head, eye & expression, pleasing outline & proportions, pleasing tailset & carriage, pushed winner hard; 3 Muggleton’s Mosiarto Miss Understood. PB (7) 1 L Goodnight Irene; 2 Roberts’ Yewlitt Floella for Denver, presents with a typical shape & has pleasing symmetry & proportions, good depth & length of body, strong neck, firm top line, good length & expanse of rib, tendency to fly her tail on the move; 3 Mortlock’s Hertsmerrry Serenade. JB (7,2) 1 Blackburn’s Stargang Morning Glow, classical type & proportions with a very pleasing head, super depth & strength of body, good ribcage, firm topline, well coupled with a powerful loin, steady on the move, to be hypercritical would have liked a little more freedom of front action; 2 Protheroe’s Am/Can Ch Grandgables Ms French Kiss at Royalmaple, somewhat different in build & style to the winner but she displays many sterling qualities which will appeal & stand her in good stead. Good overall balance with a pleasing symmetry of outline, not quite as classical in head as winner, very positive & accurate on the move; 3 Williams’ Manacas Amber Cover at Wilmerella. PGB (6,1) 1 Mortlock’s Hertsmerry Catch A Star, very deserving of this placement, feminine in build & appearance, balanced head of pleasing width & proportions, well placed & carried ears, strong neck, firm topline, strong loin, pleasing length & expanse of rib, very positive movement; 2 Lombardelli’s Mylforbe Fleur De Lys at Kelmbeck, well balanced exhibit with a symmetrical outline, strong muscular neck, good depth of body, ample ribbing, typical in head, eye & expression, just moving a shade wide at the rear; 3 Hudson’s Paprika Prize at Hollybirch. LB (8,1) 1 CC, Blackburn-Bennett’s Stargang Evora, very striking example of the breed, stands out in the crowd for style, symmetry & quality, head of classical shape & proportions, super beck & topline, grand rib, nicely coupled, strong & sturdy body, well angled group, well set & carried tail & gave a good account of herself on the move; 2 Shelton’s Barisse Arbennik Isoldes Endeavour, unlucky to meet winner & by no means disgraced by this placing in this very competitive class of quality exhibits, has a most pleasing appearance demonstrating good symmetry & balance of make & shape, well ribbed, powerful & well coupled mid-piece, grand quarters & stylish on the move; 3 Kent’s Lokmadi Paper Tiger. OB (5) 1 RCC, Ergis’ Ch Siouxline Aurora, very typical of the style associated with this kennel, great overall balance & symmetry, pleasing head, eye & expression, strong neck, good topline, good ribbing, sturdy well boned limbs, compact feet, steady on the move but not quite the panache & impact of the CC winner; 2 Hunt’s Carpaccio Crimson Ribbon, stylish exhibit of good type & quality, pleasing head, neck & shoulder, firm topline, good length of rib, a little longer coupled than winner & quite as positive in rear action but made her presence felt in good company; 3 Melbourne, Ergis & Holdsworth’s Ch Golden Algonquinette of Melriding. VB (0).
