Thank you for the grand entry; I was impressed by both the quality of the exhibits & their lovely temperaments.
PD (4) 1 Williams’ Wilmerella Wells Fargo, promising youngster who caught my eye when he went round the ring, decent forechest, good keel & sufficient length of leg for good balance. Firm topline which he kept at all times. Very good hind action. BP; 2 Muller’s Stargang Kipper Pate, another smart youngster who also moved out very well. Good head & expression, adequate bone & good feet. Well ribbed with short strong loin; 3 Fieke’s Lustrum Cushendall. JD (4) 1 Ergis’ Siouxline Aaron, I thought this youngster was very special & presented a lovely typical outline at all times. Good head proportions, dark eye & long clean, nicely arched neck. Excellent forehand with adequate forechest, good keel & rib which I felt just gave him the advantage today, strong topline & loin. Good pelt & coat. Impressed on the move with his good muscle tone & driving rear action. BD, BOB & I was pleased to see him shortlisted in the strong group; 2 Hunt’s Carpaccio Casablanca, lovely quality & type & pushed the winner hard. Absolutely sound on the move & kept his outline at all times. Good skull & eye, good forehand with adequate bone & well knuckled feet. No excess wrinkles. Good hind angles & shown in pleasing muscletone; 3 Jones’ Cwmdarhian Tropic Thunder. PGD (0). OD (4) 1 Ergis’ Ch Siouxline Flynn Rider, just pipped for the top spot by his younger kennel mate, a classy dog with a lovely clean neck & shoulder, excellent topline, well ribbed with strong loin. Beautifully balanced with sufficient length of leg for good ground clearance & his movement was exemplary. RBD; 2 Melbourne & Holdsworth’s Melriding Perkin Warbeck, another out of the top drawer, lovely head & expression, dark well placed eye, decent forehand with good bone & arched feet. Excellent topline & he moved soundly with a fluid flowing action. BV; 3 Fossett & Kent’s Lokmadi A Boy Named Sue. VD (0).
PB (3) 1 Fieke’s Lustrum Dancing Queen, good head, dark eye & keen expression, well developed forehand with good keel & adequate bone. Scored her with her good topline, still needs to develop in rib & loin but this will come with maturity as she is only 7 months old. Very good moving; 2 Rutter & Allsopp’s Marvale Magical Fairy at Chrisford, another baby with lots of promise, good head & feminine expression, well laid shoulders, good bone. Good length of rib. Moved soundly with an easy flowing action; 3 Scott’s Rothadax Sweet Love Of Mine. JB (4) 1 Melbourne & Holdsworth’s Stargang Sea Fever at Melriding, very pleasing to handle as she is so well made & put together. Good forehand with ample bone & forechest, good keel & well ribbed with a strong loin. Good length of head, firm topline & moved well both coming & going; 2 Fieke’s Lustrum Daydream Believer, giving away a lot in age here & couldn’t match the maturity of body of the winner, good outline with a long muscular neck & good head carriage. Firm topline & well carried tail. Moved well; 3 Shutt’s Kissed By The Moon Da Casados Quadros of Donnadoon. PGB (5,3a) 1 Williams & Moes’ Cwmdarhain Vera Amore, good length of head, dark almond eye, scored with a lovely clean neck of good length, well laid shoulders with good forechest & keel. Moved soundly; 2 Price’s Brianolf Pink Sapphire with Samlane, feminine & with decent forehand, ample bone & good feet. Well ribbed body with short strong loin. Moved well in an easy fashion. OB (6,2) 1 Ergis & Melbourne’s Siouxline Rapunzel with Melriding, feminine head of good length, pleasing expression with a dark almond eye. Clean arched neck & good shoulders. Well developed body with good keel & firm topline & strong loins. Moved well with some drive from the rear. BB; 2 Williams’ Manacas Amber Cover at Wilmerella, pleasing head, good forehand with adequate bone & nicely padded feet. Strong well ribbed body with short strong loin. Beautifully balanced with adequate length of leg & impressive on the move. RBB; 3 Melbourne & Holdsworth’s Ch Golden Algonquinette of Melriding.
