PD 1 Mcaulay’s Elnside Solar Star, b/t, well muscled neck into shoulders, nicely developed forechest, clean rounded well muscled rump. JD 1 Hunt’s Carpaccio Casablanca, b/t, nicely balanced boy, lovely head shape & eye, good reach & muscling to neck, worthy rear angles, low hock, stacked & moved well, expertly handled; 2 Protheroe’s Royalmalpe Anky Panky, red dog giving a lot away today in age & development. Well boned forequarters & length in upper arm, pleasing tight feet. Balanced angulation fore & aft, enough ribbing at this stage of development, moved out soundly keeping his topline. PGD 1 McAulay’s Elnside The Way Ahead, nice head & good length of neck with clean shoulders, firm topline on the move, satisfactory rear angulation moved out well, good outline; 2 Laidlaw’s Russteck Figgy Duff, b/t, better head & expression, good length of neck & pleasing length of ribbing. I preferred movement of 1 on the day; 3 Collins’ Irenvy Pretty Boy with Papapsaigoud. LD 1 Mitchell & Antonpoulos’ Ygeia No One Like You, length of neck & muscled, well placed shoulders, lovely forechest & depth, decent ribbing with firm topline, he won this class with his freedom of movement & positive stride; 2 Paget & Carroll’s Bronia Valente of Warbeck, b/t, lovely hound head shape, dark eye, strong neck & head carriage, well filled front & spring of ribs. Sound hind angulation; 3 Melbourne & Holdsworth’s Melriding Perkin Warbeck. OD 1 Blackburn’s Stargang Tiger Feet, took my eye immediately, well made b/t of a lovely size & type, healthy bone & substance. Pleasing in outline, lovely houndy head, reach of neck & head carriage. Prominent front & depth of chest, spring of rib, strong loin, robust well angulated rear, round & full, moved sound & free. Pleased to award CC, in the challenge he was arrogant & assertive on the move which won him BOB.
PB 1 Paget & Carroll’s Marvale Maleficent, eyecatching dapple, composed lovely temperament, showed well. Liked her make & shape. Attractive head correctly set on ears, held close to head, good neck & full front. Good ground clearance & gentle spring of rib, close fitting elbows, well made full round rump carrying tail correctly for one so young. Moved out soundly & freely. BP; 2 Melbourne & Holdsworth’s Stargang Glimmer at Melriding, b/t similar in age to 1. Well set ears held close to cheeks, acceptably filled front & chest, tight feet; 3 Blackburn-Bennett’s Stargang Star Anise. JB 1 Melbourne & Holdsworth’s Stargang Sea Fever at Melriding, lovely young bitch feminine & elegant throughout. Appealing hound head & correctly shaped almond dark eye. Sound lay of shoulder, enough bone & well knuckled feet. Attractive forechest, nicely sprung ribs, strong loin. Beautifully balanced with adequate length of leg, she was impressive on the move which won her the RCC; 2 Shutt’s Kissed By The Moon Da Casados Quadros of Donnadoon, b/t, attractive head & expression, long elegant neck, decent forechest, a little longer in loin; 3 Protheroe’s Am Ch Grandgables Ms Ever So Yummy at Royalmale. PGB 1 Leisham’s Wyndsmoor Twinxed, b/t, best mover of the class. Pleasing feminine head & full chest, good spring of rib; 2 Offen’s Gordax Going Places with Linconor, good chest & spring of rib, let down muscletone; 3 Shutt’s Donnadoon Miss Magestic. LB 1 Herrington’s Kathington Chance Be A Lady, red, shorter coupled girl of eyecatching make & shape, well balanced, attractive feminine head, pleasant neck length, well fitting front with delightful sternum, tight elbows to some of the best tight well knuckled feet today, level topline held on the move, sound round rump, strode out free & easy; 2 Paget & Carroll’s Bronia Vittoria of Marvale, attractive shaded/r, lovely type, well balanced. Pretty feminine head, good forehand & well ribbed. Holds a firm outline on the move & strides out freely; 3 Blackburn’s Stargang Desert Vixen. OB 1 Blackburn-Bennett’s Ch Lokmadi Sea Holly at Stargang, red full of breed type, feminine head, dark quick eye that missed nothing. Full chest with prominent pro-sternum, excellent forehand to some of the best tight feet today, plenty of ground clearance, enough ribbing & strong loin shown in excellent condition, hindquarters produce purposeful sound action. CC; 2 Hunt’s Barratini Jennifer Eccles at Carpaccio, shaded/r, pleasing head & lovely feminine expression, good neck & shoulders, pleasing forechest & spring of rib, little longer in leg than 1, moved out ably. V 1 Melbourne & Holdsworth’s Barratini Hubble Bubble at Melriding, b/t, elegant neck, full & oval well defined chest, moved well. BV.
