VD (4) Some lovely old boys! 1 Herrington’s Ch Kathington Coeur de Lion, smart, sound & true moving, holding a perfect topline. Pleasing head & expression. Sound front, in lovely coat & condition. Close up to the CC & RCC; 2 Kent’s Ch Barratini Jeeves at Lokmadi, another in lovely muscle & condition, but out of coat on tail & rear. Holds himself together nicely & free stands. A lovely boy, moving well all round; 3 Sim’s Little Wizard of Kelmbeck. MPD (1) 1 W/h; 2 Gorman’s Dovestream Amour Rouge avec Keldehan, nice small dog, who is not big, but too thin for his size. Well muscled rear, rather out at elbow. Will look better with more weight on him. PD (8) 1 Coxon’s D’Arisca Danish Diplomat, lovely puppy, good stride in profile & sound in rear, not over heavy in front & holds his topline superbly. Would like slightly tighter feet, otherwise impressive; 2 Lewis’ Trixhund Bring Me Sunshine, slightly too wide in backskull & heavy over the shoulders. Good rich colour, well ribbed & lovely bone & thick feet. Also super behind & come at you truly; 3 Scott’s Wolferlow Will Scarlet. JD (4) 1 Williams’ Wilmerella Wells Fargo, happy boy full of himself, liked his length of skull, neat front, good topline & rear, classic outline, good rich colour, in lovely coat & muscletone; 2 Hapaeva’s Formula Uspeha Top Gear, liked his length of leg & he holds a super topline in profile. A bit short in upper arm & temperament could be stronger. A nice type & in lovely body; 3 Shutt’s Donnadoon Burning Ember. YD (10) Great class & some wonderful boys here! 1 CC, Hunt’s Carpaccio Casablanca, so good to go over. Hands just flow over his front & elbows. Good strong legs & thick feet, well made body & powerful rear. In immaculate condition & a great mover in profile; 2 Ergis’ Siouxline Aaron, also has a super stride & such a hard strong topline, good over croup & tailset, not the layback of shoulder blade of winner but his upper arm is long & sloping well, so he does stride out, just a bit flat in withers; 3 Callow’s Garthorne Jackson. PGD (13) 1 Scott’s Danton Mr Brown at Wolferlow, hard coated choc, really well conditioned & marvellous coat & presentation. Liked his head, dark pigment, neat high set ears. OK in upper arm but lacks forechest. Super body & rear, well carried tail & very sound all ways; 2 Parish’s Melriding Lambert Simnel of Garlandelms, could make more of himself especially on the table. He moves confidently & in very precise up & down. Good size & proportions; 3 Smith’s Wolferlow Admiral Nelson. LD (13) 1 RCC, Roberts’ Denver Darling Doctor Who, lovely boy, superbly muscled, excellent to go over & a pleasing size & outline. Nicely balanced front & rear, keeps his topline firmly & moves neatly with a good stride; 2 Handy’s Pelirroja Rocket Science, longer in loin than winner, but still has a firm backline. Sound & active mover, pleasing head & eyes. Temperament a little reserved, but he doesn’t show it moving; 3 Ball’s Barisse Grimaldi. OD (11) 1 Ergis’ Ch Siouxline Flynn Rider, nicely balanced front & rear, attractive head, strong jaws, good forechest & upper arm slope. Neat powerful rear, in excellent body & condition & lovely length of stride in profile; 2 Chalova’s Amurskiy Tigr Iz Mishkinogo Doma, good brindle well marked. Super head & neck, good length of leg for super ground coverage. Good hammy quarters. A smart exhibit; 3 Protheroe’s Ch Grandgables Crafty Lil Devil at Royalmaple. GCD (0).
VB (2) 1 Kerry’s Dolyharp Pizzicato at Kireton, 10 years old & still looking good! She was enjoying her day at Crufts & moved round smartly, in good body & coat. Good legs & feet. MPB (2) 1 Muggleton’s Mosiarto Miss Match, too low & too long but pleasing head & broad jaws. Coat in good nick & showing well; 2 Jones’ Stargang Lotus Flower, better length of leg but wouldn’t be handled on the table & certainly needs more bone & size even for a minor puppy. PB (8) A nice class! 1 BP, Coxon’s D’Arisca Danish Delicacy, appealed for balance & leg length. Beautiful head & eyes. Neat front, elbows well tucked in. Excellent topline & well made quarters, just needs exercise to firm up; 2 Smith’s Wolferlow Maid Marion, also neat & nicely balanced, a bit erratic moving at first but settled on the final go round. Head, neck, front & body all A1. Will no doubt do well outside in the summer; 3 Hunt’s Carpaccio Blithe Spirit. JB (7) 1 Russell’s Russteck Plum Duff, two nice girls, both rather wide going away but neat in front. Winner good shape & size, pleasing head & outlook. Firm back & enough bend of stifle; 2 Burke & Manston’s Radclyffe Zathea, just running up a mite at the rear at present, but promising & she has a lovely forehand, bone & thick feet; 3 Reed’s Deercroft Deep Secret. YB (10) 1 Thomas’ Royaldach Authorized Queen, a good bitch in lovely condition. A touch short in muzzle perhaps, backskull good, super body & topline & powerful rear. She went well all round too; 2 Rutter’s Marvale Magical Fairy at Chrisford, smaller & very neat, also a wee bit short in foreface & she was tucking her rear up standing, she moved well though & is in lovely coat & body; 3 Kerry’s Kireton Cici. PGB (16) close between 1 & 2. 1 RCC, Coxon’s Sundsal’s Dirty Diana, well made, well balanced & she moved truly all round. Beautiful head & eye shape. Showing a slightly untidy underline, but she is a lovely bitch. Dam of the two puppy winners; 2 Rollinson’s Cwmdarhian Lady In Red for Diamonddax, sound, fit, solid & also appealed going over her. Moved with some style & she is precise, legs rather wrinkled which just decided me to place her 2nd; 3 Muggleton’s Mosiarto Miss Calculate. LB (14) A nice class. 1 Ergis & Melbourne’s Siouxline Rapunzel with Melriding, a slightly too low set red, but she does come up on the leg as she moves. She just sinks down standing. Neat front, good upper arm, enough rear angles, & true on the move; 2 Rutter’s Siouxline Mariella, smaller & also neat, very well muscled & has plenty of drive in rear. Neat front, well put together. Excellent topline. Just would like a bit more of her right through; 3 Williams & Moes’ Cwmdarhian Maleficent. OB (13) 1 CC & BOB, Ergis’ Ch Siouxline Aurora, quite outstanding in this class. She travels well & is precise up & down. Holds a perfect topline & tail carriage. I liked his head, eyes & expression, reachy neck too. Pleased to see her shortlisted in the group; 2 Hapaeva’s Formula Uspeha Colibri, not quite the hindquarters of winner but she too is a good mover covering the ground easily. Carries her ears to the side too much. Excellent front & forechest; 3 Coxon’s D’Arisca Damsel In A Dress. GCB (3) Three nice bitches all well trained & moving out nicely. 1 Paterson’s Jazzeebee Fire Babe, in good muscle. Very firm topline. Just a wee bit low to ground; 2 McLennan’s Russteck Currant Bun at Cheguevar, 12 months & still can make up further, she is pleasing to go over & true moving. Cuts up a little sharp in underline; 3 Neill-Fraser’s Ch Siouxline Thomasina.
