Minor Puppy Dog  ( 3, 1 )
    1)  Tite's - Ayseebee Candy Apple Red -  a very promising shaded
red - so steady for his age;  lovely forehand construction;  masculine
head on a reachy neck;  good bone and true movement;  everything right
for his age and expertly handled.  Best Puppy Dog
 
    2)  Upton's - Denval Little Treasurer - a real baby b/t;  settling better
as he moved;  not as mature or having the bone of the 1st;  lovely
head on good neck and correct length of ribbing for age.
 
Junior Dog  ( 2,1 )
    1)  Starkey's - Carpaccio Just My Luck With Hamoura - good red,
similar in type to Minor Puppy Dog winner;  good bone and ribbing and
a masculine head;  rather fidgetty standing in the cold and damp
conditions;  but moving soundly and with drive.
 
Yearling Dog ( 2 )
    1)  Shutt's - Donnadoon Waterloo Sunset - smart shaded red with
lovely outline both stacked and on the move;  good bone and length of
ribbing but a little 'elbowy';   well-angulated hind-quarters and
moving truly and with drive.
    2)  Strange's - Mylforbe Majestical Knight - a heavier type and
more substantial b/t;  rather hunched today due to the cold
conditions;  lots to like and good musculature;  not quite the
positive movement of the winner.
 
Post Graduate Dog  ( 7, 4 )
   1)  Muggleton's - Mosiarto Mister Valentino - red boy with good
bone, ribbing and angulation fore and aft;  rather feminine in head
for me;  moving better behind than the 2nd.
   2)  Williams' - Wilmerella Wells Fargo - smart b/t with excellent
proportions;  lighter behind and not as positive in hind movement as
the winner;  having to change handlers for moving didn't help here.
   3)  Bishton's - Lokmadi Jack Be Nimble at Jaydania
 
Limit Dog  (6, 2 )
   Splitting hairs between the first two quality dogs
   1)  Melbourne's & Holdsworth's - Melriding Perkin Warbeck - clear
red with excellent bone, shoulder placement and length of ribbing;
good outline both stacked and moving;  well-angulated at both ends;
Pressed hard in the challenge.
   2)  Roberts' - Denver Darling Doctor Who - mature shaded red with
the most super head on a reachy neck;  eye-catching outline on the
move;  good hind-angulation but just not as good in shoulder
construction as the 1st.
   3)  Protheroe's - Royalmaple Anky Panky
 
Open Dog  ( 7, 3 )
   Headed by 2 entirely different types both of outstanding quality.
   1)  Hunt's - Ch. Carpaccio Casablanca - a lovely type b/t  - smart
and cheeky with lovely proportions;  excellent bone and length of
ribbing;  best of fore and hind angulation; not bothered by the cold
weather;  shown and showing to perfection. Pleased to award him the
Dog C.C.
   2)  Ergis ' - Ch. Siouxline Flynn Rider - lovely eye-catching clear
red;  very clean lines all through;  keeping a lovely outline at all
times;  just not as free in front movement as the 1st;  splitting
hairs between these two lovely dogs;  Reserve Dog C.C.
   3)  Barrett's - Ch. Ayseebee Rumour Has It.
 
 
 
Minor Puppy Bitch  (5)
   Very difficult decision between these two quality puppies.
   1)  Shutt's - Donnadoon Dreamdust - loved this very smart and
feminine brindle girl;  excellent balance and good bone with reachy
neck set on well-laid shoulders;  the best of fore and hind
angulations and correct movement;  Best Puppy Bitch and Best Puppy In
Breed.
   2)  Mitchell's - Bronia Juanita - very different b/t with excellent
forechest construction;  best of ribbing and shoulder and hind
angulation;  not quite the length and grace of the first.
   3)  Price's - Samlane Desdemona
 
Puppy Bitch  (5, 1 )
   1)  Bishton's - Jaydania Take A Peek - first of two similar-type
bitches;  very smart and moving with confidence;  a lovely shape on
the move but not helping her handler when standing.
   2)  Robertson's - Ravenwood Simply Exquisite - similar type b/t of
lovely balance and shape;  looked well when stacked and having good
musculature;  not quite as good in hind movement as the winner.
   3)  Garner's- Gordax Dream Come True
 
Junior Bitch  (7, 1 )
   1)  Upton's - Denval Temptation - a well-balanced and mature shaded
red with excellent length of ribbing;  good bone and keeping an
excellent outline at all times;  the steadiest mover in the class.
   2)  Hunt's - Carpaccio Blithe Spirit - smart b/t still needing to
mature;  excellent outline both stacked and moving and really showed
herself off;  length of ribbing and follow-through of keel not as good
as the 1st.
   3)  Roberts' - Denver Darling Love of May
 
Yearling BItch ( 4, 2 )
    Two super bitches headed by -
   1)  Melbourne's and Holdsworth's - Stargang Glimmer at Melriding;-
a lovely feminine b/t - just my type;  good bone and well-balanced;
excellent prosternum and length of ribbing;  well-angulated at both
ends;  Reserve Bitch C.C.
   2)  Ergis' - Siouxline Esther Rose - a super red girl with similar
construction to first;  moved truly and with drive;  preferred head
and shoulder angulation of the winner.
 
Post Graduate Bitch ( 4, 1 )
  Two lovely bitches of similar type
   1)  Msds. Burke's and Manston's - Radclyffe Zathera - most
appealing red girls with feminine head;  super prosternum with
well-laid shoulders;  keeping a good outline and moving with drive.
   2) Muggleton's - Mosiarto Miss Calculate - similar remarks apply as
to the 1st;  very similar in type, construction and movement;  just
preferred the winner's head.
   3)  Garner's - Gordax Dream Come True
 
Limit Bitch  ( 8, 3 )
   1)  Kerry's - Kireton Cici - sound b/t not fully co-operating with
her  handler today;  would not relax when stacked but having lovely
bone, shoulder angulation and length of ribbing.
   2)  Melbourne's & Holdsworth's - Stargang Sea Fever at Melriding -
a beautiful rich coloured brindle;  better overall length than the
winner but not quite the hind angulation;  well handled
   3)  Paget's & Carroll's - Bronia Maddalena of Marvale
 
Open Bitch  ( 3 )
   Headed by two top quality bitches
   1)  Ergis' & Melbourne's - Siouxline Rapunzel with Melriding -
stunning clear red of excellent balance and quality;  the best of
heads on a graceful neck;  excellent length and spring of ribbing;
well-angulated behind and a picture both stacked and moving.  Pleased
to award her the Bitch C.C.
   2)  Melbourne's & Holdsworth's - Ch. Golden Algonquinette of
Melriding - another lovely red girl with super bone and the best of
shoulders;  splitting hairs here but just a little more daylight under
the loins than the 1st.
   3)  Williams' - Ch. Manacas Amber Cover at Wilmerella
