A very interesting large entry today.  I found the overall outlines were good,  The rear on a lost is disappointing.  Some when stacked the hocks are touching each other.  Condition and handling on most was Top Class, as was the Sportsmanship of exhibitors.  I enjoyed my day.

Minor Puppy (8 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: WILLIAMS& MOES Cwmdarhian Jimmy Choo, Red dog, Superb outline and overall shape looks mature for his age,  very sound rear and moved well.  In the challenge he had done enough for the day.

2nd: HUNT Pelirroja Talking Italian At Carpaccio, This very stylist red was another quality puppy that I was splitting hairs with above.  Not the firm topline at times of above, Good quarters and rear on the move.
3rd: PAGET, Mr M J & CARROLL Marvale Master Of Disguise


Puppy Dog (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: HAMER Ambershirl The Sorcerer, Red with pleasing head shape, length of neck, sound front and a free moving pup who was confident, enjoying his day out.
2nd: JENNINGS Duddondaxs Judge Jude, Heavier type red pup. He has a clean outline and moved soundly as yet not the front extension of above.  Well handled.

Junior Dog (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: WILLIAMS Wilmerella Go West, This arrogant red has style and soundness.  Good neck length, Sound front prominent sternum.  Level firm topline at all times.  Powerful sound muscled rear. in great condition.  I later on gave him the Limit dog class then his first CC. Superb.
2nd: CUMBERLAND & CUMBERLAND Mumysami Clicalicious For Yorami, Red with a most pleasing head and expression.  Strong neck, just not quite the smooth flow into shoulders of above.  Good ribbing and loin.  Strong rear.

Post Graduate (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: BLACKBURN Stargang Sea Bird, This sound red has a classic shape, expressive headpiece.  Firm level topline, moves soundly fore and aft in great show condition.
2nd: PHILLIPS Stargang High Hopes of Robinswood,  Another red in Top show condition with expressive headpiece.  Well constructed.  I can see he is from the same kennel as above and a close decision.
3rd: SEABORNE Bowetts Too Hot Ta Trot

 

Limit Dog (8 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: WILLIAMS Wilmerella Go West, As Junior
2nd: BLACKBURN-BENNETT Stargang Barracuda , This red has a great silhouette, clean topline.  Good feet, good ribbing.  Close up, not quite the strength behind of the winner.  Well handled.
3rd: ROBERTS Wingcrest Supersonic To Denver

Open Dog (5 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: PROTHEROE Ch Royalmaple Anky Panky, Arrogant red with superb expression.  Shown in tip top condition and muscle.  Good expression.  Arched neck into well laid shoulders.  Best of toplines. Moved with power and style. Closet of decisions for the CC, but today had to be content with the Res CC.
2nd: BARRETT  Ch Ayseebee Rumour Has It, Black & Tan who also is full of quality.  Keeps a great outline both on the stack and when moving.  Excellent front and neat feet in top condition.
3rd: ROBERTS Denver Darling Doctor Who

 

Veteran Dog (4 Entries) Abs: 0

A quality class, was not in the least surprised to find these champions.
1st: HERRINGTON Ch Kathington Coeur De Lion, Black and Tan who was closely considered  for the Top award today.  Superb clean shape and outline.  Excellent front and Sternum.  Well muscled.  Strong rear and so sound.
2nd: KENT Ch Barratini Jeeves At Lokmadi JW,  Black and Tan who was close up on the winner for his outline and overall style.  In great form, moved well just not quite the complete freedom of winner behind.  Superbly handled.
3rd: NOLAN Kelmbeck Lord of the Dance at Eddyval

Minor Puppy Bitch (15 Entries) Abs: 4
1st: PROTHEROE Picollo Teckel Never Say Never At Royalmaple NAF TAF,  This was such a confident showy puppy.  She has a superb clean outline, great expression, long neck, excellent front and sternum.  Strong rear movement with drive.  She won Best Puppy today.  But I also considered her for one of the Top Awards today.  She should have a great future.
2nd: WILLIAMS & MOES Cwmdarhian Prty Lika Rushn, Another quality exhibit from this kennel.  I admired their dogs highly.  Red so smooth and clean in outline and overall shape.  Moved well and very sound only beaten by a fantastic puppy.
3rd: CAREY Debbiejay Oooh La La

Puppy Bitch (7 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: METCALFE-BILGIN Metadale Something Special, Black and Tan that does live up to her show name.  Good headpiece and expression.  Pleasing front.  Firm level muscled topline.  Sound fore and aft.  Lacked a bit enthusiasm in the challenge.
2nd: BARRETT Cwmdarhian Star Is Born For Ayseebee, Brindle of style and good front.  Good neat feet.  Topline needs to firm up, but I think she is still at the maturing stage.  Good strong rear and quarters.
3rd: MELBOURNE & PAGET & CARROLL Donnadoon Sea Vermillion At Marvale

Junior Bitch (18 Entries) Abs: 6
1st: 585 PROTHEROE Mr P Royalmaple Daphne Blake, Quality red who won a very strong interesting class.  She stood out for her overall balance and most pleasing outline.  Good headpiece, flow of neck into shoulders.  Keel, spring of rib.  Moving soundly with style.  Very well handled.
2nd: HERRINGTON Kathington Just By Chance, Red with most pleasing head, expression.  Good firm topline, strong well muscled.  Correct ribbing.  Moved soundly, just not quite the powerful rear of above.  In great condition.
3rd: HUNT Carpaccio Midnight Lace

Post Graduate Bitch (13 Entries) Abs: 3
1st: BURKE & MANSTON Radclyffe Acanthus, Another red, she won this good class on a clean smooth cut outline.  Good head, eye and expression.  Firm topine.   Won this class on her strong powerful rear action.  This was lacking in so many here today.
2nd: BLACKBURN Stargang Simply The Best, This stylist red bitch has style and charisma,  Well balanced correct front and good shoulder angulations.  Best of toplines both stacked and on the move.
3rd: RUDKIN Dynastydax Tiger Lilly

1st: KENT Lokmadi Hidden Dragon, This bitch has style holding a good firm shape at all times.  Good balance to head and skull, long neck set into well laid shoulders.  Moved soundly both ends.  Shown in top condition.
2nd: ERGIS Siouxline Esther Rose JW, Liked the shape and balance on this one, good head piece, sound front, correct flow of neck to shoulders,  She can tuck up a little when stood.  Powerful strong rear.
3rd: MUGGLETON Mosiarto Miss Calculate Jw

1st: WILLIAMS & MOES Ch Cwmdarhian The Xfactor,  This quality red lives up to her name as she has it all.  Great shape and balance with stunning outline when stacked.  On the move she has reach and drive from a well muscled rear.  Firm topline at all times I found her totally captivating.  Thrilled to award her the CC & BOB
2nd: BLACKBURN-BENNETT Ch Stargang Star Anise, Black and Tan of heavier make and shape.  But again a most pleasing outline at all times. Great expression and front construction.  In top condition.  Moved soundly.  Res CC
