I enjoyed my judging of this breed, and was delighted with my winners.  Sadly you can't please everyone.  I give an honest opinion of the dogs!!! on the day.

Veteran Dog or Bitch (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: KENT Ch Barratini Jeeves at Lokmadi JW, Smart, with tight front and rear.  Super head.  Moved with verve. Best Veteran in Show.
2nd: HERRINGTON Ch Kathington Coeur De Lion, Not quite such a tight front.  Has overall quality, moved out well.
3rd: NEIL-FRASER Ch Siouxline Tomasina JW

Minor Puppy Dog (6 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: PAGET & CARROLL Marvale in Cahoots, Super pup. Elegant, tight front, good ribbing, strong rear.  Liked him.
2nd: HUNT Pelliroja Talking Italian at Carpaccio, another nice pup, Longer cast than winner, will shape well with maturity.
3rd: PAGE & CARROLL Marvale Master of Disguise

 

Puppy Dog (6 Entries) Abs: 3
1st: SHUTT Melriding Captain Cook of Donnadoon, Lovely shape kept well on move, front was deep and tight.  Well angulated rear BPD
2nd: HAMER Ambershirl the Sorcerer, Similar type, very elegant, moved well.
3rd: THOMPSON Black Button Sweetheart: 

Junior Dog (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: PAGET & CARROLL Marvale Up with the Lark, Fabulous clear red dog, just what I was looking for.  Super head, copy book shoulders, front is tight and oval.  Long ribbing and well angulated rear.  Moved out well on tight bunchy feet, Dog CC, BOB and thrilled to see his go Best in Show.  Wonderful way to gain his title.
2nd: WILLIAMS Wilmerella Go West, Rangier type.  Food head, kept good outline on the move.

Yearling Dog (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: CALLOW Garthorne Gavin, Such an elegant boy.  Front, ribbing and rear very good.  Moved out keping good outline.
2nd: MELBOURNE Ambreglo Storm at Melriding, Good head and eye, deep front. Ribbing carried well back,  Moved well.
3rd:  TAYLOR Our Chocolate Chip to Trageeda

Post Graduate Dog (6 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: CALLOW Garthorne T Rex,  Really liked this boy, super head. Shoulders well laided, plenty of prosterum without exageration.  Kept good outline at all times.  RDCC
2nd: BLACKBURN Stargang Seabird, Another nice boy, longer than winner and not quite so balanced.  Moved Well.
3rd: STERRY Barisse Asarabacca

 

Limit Dog (6 Entries)  Abs: 1
1st: BLACKBURN BENNETT Stargang Barracuda, Elegant with super head.  Deep tight front.  Excellent ribbing.  Stood out in this class.
2nd: MUGGLETON Mosiarto Mister Valentino JW, Well balanced.  Moved well keping a good outline.
3rd: PARISH Melriding Lambert Simnel at Garlandelms

 

Open Dog (5 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: BARRETT Ch Ayseebee Rumour Has It, Superb elegance.  Lovely front and neck.  Strong well angulated hindquarters.  Kept good outline.
2nd: PROTHEROE Ch Royalmaple Anky Panky, Nice front & Strong rear.  Moved out well, not quite the balance of winner.
3rd:  WILLIAMS Wilmerlla Wells Fargo

 

Minor Puppy Bitch (17 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: CALLOW Garthorne Grace Kelly, Really fell for this beautiful brindle.  Se has a superb head.  Front, tight elbows tucked well in, Long ribbing and fabulous hindquarters.  In the challenge she was that bit immature but gained the Reserve CC.  Will watch with interest.  Went on to win Best Puppy in Show.
2nd: WILLIAMS & MOES Cwmdarhian Prty Lika Rushn, Another super pup, similar remarks apply.  Very strong hindquarters on this baby.
3rd:  HAMER Ambershirl Delilah

Puppy Bitch (8 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: WILLIAMS & MOES Cwmdarhian Lady Gaga, Very smart elegant girl, Feminine head, good shoulders and moved true with an easy stride.
2nd: PROTHEROE Picollo Teckel Never Say Never at Royalmaple, Similar type. also moved out well, kept her outline at all times.
3rd: MELBOURNE Melriding Sea Infanta

Junior Bitch (16 Entries) Abs: 6
1st: HUNT Carpaccio Midnight Lace, Quality bitch.  Handled to perfection.  Super front, ribbing well back.  Moved fluently using her well angulated hindquarters well.
2nd: MELBOURNE, PAGET & CARROLL Siouxline Goldilocks of Melriding, Another beautiful bitch. Close up to winner. Just prefered more fluent movement of first
3rd: WORSWICK Dolyharp Sonata

 

Yearling Bitch (12 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: BLACKBURN Ch Stargang Cherry Berry,
2nd: HAYWARD Stargang Nice N Spicy for Foxearth, Two super litter sisters who will swop places many times.  Both have super heads, tight fronts, correct ribbing and well angulated hind quarters.  Difficult decision, just felt 2nd moved hesitant today.
3rd:  PRICE Samlane Desdemona

 

Post Graduate Bitch (11 Entries) Abs: 3
1st: BURKE & MANSTON Radclyffe Acanthus, Neat elegant bitch.  Not over done in any way.  Head, front and ribbing all good, feet bunchy.  Moved out well.
2nd: HUTCHINGS Stargang Hot Cross Bun for Collidach, Another girl I liked very much.  Head superb, correct shoulders, good ribbing and correct angulation to hindquarters.  She gives her handler a tough time.
3rd: MITCHELL Bronia Fiorenza

Limit Bitch (12 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: WILIAMS & MOES Cwmdarhian Rule the World, This bitch blew me away.  She was just wonderful to go over, hands just flowed.  Her head is equisite, long elegant neck, superb lay of shoulder, enough prosterum.  Ribbing supports a spirit level topline and she flows round the ring.  Handled to prefection.  Bitch CC, could not get past her.
2nd: MELBOURNE, CARROLL & PAGET Garthorne Olivia Grace of Melriding, Lovely bitch, head, shoulders and topline superb.  Moved well.
3rd: MUGGLETON Mosiarto Miss Calculate JW

1st: MELBOURNE & CARROLL Stargang Glimmer at Melriding, Lovely type, feminine head, good shoulders.  Kept her topline on the move.
2nd: WILLIAMS & MOES Ch Cwmdarhian The Xfactor, Slighter taller, finer bitch.  Very elegant, looked a picture on the move.
