Class 636 GCB NO ENTRIES

Thank you to my able stewards who kept things running smoothly and to the exhibitors for my entry.

I felt type was varied in both dogs and bitches, especially heads. Movement and underlines were also varied. There were some hotly contested classes where I really was spoilt for choice and it was nit picking with good dogs having to go cardless.

MPD (14,3)

A lovely class to start with , many who were not placed I am sure will be placed later when they have matured.

1st Rudkin,  Dynasty Dax Tarquin.    Lovely red who won this hot class on his make, shape and showmanship. Very sound on the move , maintaining his beautiful profile. Very good angulation fore and aft. Classic outline stacked and on the move with a beautiful head and dark eye. Just needs to mature on.

2nd Charlesworth,  Keydax Otis .  Very nice B&T who  just needs to get his act together.  Good size and so well ribbed. Again good angulation fore and aft and well boned. When he settled he moved  soundly. Just needs a little more confidence and he will trouble the best.

3rd Kent,Lokmadi Tigre.

PD (3)

1st Bell, Tolbery Liquorice Torpedo   BPD   Really lovely B&T who is all of a piece, being well boned and of a good size. Beautiful angulation both ends. Excellent head and eye. Classy and stylish stacked and on the move. He really appealed.

2nd Connolly and Donnelly,  Rosilath Emmet. Very nice red with a beautiful head. Another well off for bone.  Classic outline on the move with very good angles all through. Just needs to gain more confidence.

3rd Roberts,   Denver Darling Superman

JD (5,1)

1st Beach, Riowood Arizona.   Really liked this young brindle dog who pressed very hard in the challenge. He has a beautiful head and an appealing reach of neck.  Very well ribbed and enough bone. Classy and stylish stacked and on the move. Should give his owner a lot of fun.

2nd Reed, Deercroft Dream Chaser.  Different type to first and has a lot going for him. A little shorter  and very well boned. All of a piece. Sound on the move coming and going. Lovely head and dark eye. On the day I preferred the elegance and reach of neck of first but he pressed hard.

3rd Nelson, Marvale Southern Comfort at Venari.

PGD(9,2)

Good class , headed by:   1st  Lombardelli, Kelmbeck Sydney.  Another classy red with a lovely stylish outline stacked and on the move. Excellent ribbing with good angulation both ends. Beautiful head, eye and feet. He has breed type in abundance.

2nd seen dog  Reed, Deercroft Dream Chaser.

3rd Andison and Peel, Clentry Hear Me Roar.

LD(8,2)

1st Charlesworth,  KeydaxLeroy.   A lovely clear red dog of correct size headed this very good class. Good pigment with attractive head and superb anguilation both ends. Looked a picture on the go around. Classy and stylish. His beautiful outline on the move and stacked gave him the class.

2nd Barrett,  Ayseebee Twinkling Star. Very attractive and appealing B&T who is so well put together and oozes breed type and quality. Has bone, style and elegance and pressed 1st hard, close decision.

3rd Carey, Donnadoon Dark Moonbeam for Debbie Jay.

OD(6,2)

1st Mitchell, ch.Bronia Biaggio.   Dog cc and BOB.  Looked the part on the green carpet  stacked and on the move. Classic outline on this B&T. He has such lovely proportions where everything simply falls into place and is so well balanced. Excellent angulation both ends, excellent bone and ribbing.

2nd Roberts, Denver Darling Doctor Who.  Res. cc. Lovely red with similar remarks to 1st. Unlucky to come across winner on such top form. Oozes breed type and quality with a better head than first . Looked the part on the move but I preferred the hindquarters of first when stacked.

3rd Scott, Wolferlow Will Scarlett JW.

VD(2,1)

Daykin, ch.Barratini Johnny Cash.  Lovely ch. boy who was presented in top form and condition that belies his years with only a smattering of grey hairs. Sound as a bell, well boned. Excellent ribbing and well balanced. Beautiful head and eye, moved steadily.

GCD(1)

Clements,  Duke Midnight William. Nice choc. boy who was very well boned. Very attractive head and expression. A good size with a good front and lay of shoulder. Moved soundly

MPB (14,3)

1st Mills-Jones,  Carlita Welsh Princess.  A princess indeed, a lovely shaded red with a classic outline. Very attractive from every angle. Moved soundly maintaining her topline. A very nice prospect.

2nd Carey, Mystery Maiden for Debbie Jay. Another nice prospect, not as mature as 1st. Beautiful head and pigment. Very well boned and angulated. Moved soundly. All she needs is time.

3rd Rose, Ardenrun Foolish Whisper.

PB (6)

1st Roberts, Denver Darling Take Me Home.  Another lovely prospect. Quality, elegant B&T with a classic shape. Sound moving fore and aft, maintaining her outline on the go around. Has such good angulation, front and back, with lovely ribbing and lay of shoulder. BPB and BP. She won BPIB on her elegance on the move.

2nd Halsall, Shelsall All About Love.  A beautiful clear red who has everything in the correct place. She pressed  first hard but was not as collected as first, stacked or on the move. An appealing bitch who will trouble the  best.

3rd Bell, Tolberg Jelly Tot.

JB(9,2)

1st Andison and Peel, Clentry A Star Is Born.  She really is a star. Most elegant, lovely B&T with flowing lines. Very attractive head, well ribbed, a good length to height ratio. Very sound coming and going with a beautiful profile and outline. I felt she was a little soft in condition which held her back.

2nd Kent, Lokmadi Catherine Wheel JW.  Another very attractive B&T who just needs a touch more maturity. Exquisite head and expression. Again very sound coming and going, maintaining her top line. Elegant and stylish all through.

3rd Dunhill,Hollybirch Golden Sun at Gellyam.

PGB(15,4)

1st Dare, Darsoms Zoe.  Really liked this beautiful B&T who is so well put together with bone and excellent ribbing. Oozes breeze type and quality. Very sound with a beautiful outline. I felt she was carrying a shade too much weight on her neck which held her back.

2nd Price, Samlane Happy As a Lark.  Another beautiful bitch. Has the most exquisite head and flowing lines and looked a picture free stacked. Everything is in the right place with a beautiful outline. A bit of a fidget but could not be denied her place. One to be proud of.

3rd Callow, Garthorne Georgia

LB(15)

A very hot class and many worthy bitches had to go cardless.

1st Callow, Garthorne Grace Kelly.  Bitch CC. A really beautiful brindle bitch who is so elegant and stylish on the move and comes into her own. Lovely size with a beautiful profile. Sweetest of heads and expression. Excellent ribbing with a good reach of neck. Classy stacked and on the move. Ticked the boxes for me today.

2nd Rudkin, Dynasty Dax Periwinkle JW.  Had to work hard to gain her place in this class. So well boned and proportioned. Lovely make and shape. Similar remarks to first and very sound with the sweetest of heads.

3rd Morris and Waddel,  Bronia Angioletta.

OB(6,3)

1st Rudkin,  Keydax Layla for Dynastydax JW. Res.cc  All of a piece and so very sound. Quality B&T who is so classy on the move. Gained res.cc on her style and breed type especially on the move. Presented in hard muscular condition. One to be proud of.

2nd Hayward, Stargang Nice and Spicey for Foxearth.  Lovely brindle with the most lovely shape with an excellent reach of neck. Sweetest of expressions and dark eye. Beautiful head and so well boned. Not as relaxed as first on the move.

3rd Nelson, Civisdachs Jade at Venari.

VB(2)

1st West, Archidax Bonneville JW.  A beautiful bitch who flows around the ring which gave her the BV over the lovely dog. She drives and powers with style and elegance. So well put together with an exquisite profile. One to be proud of.

2nd Cumberland, Whirlygig Whattatodo at Mumysam.  A lovely B&T who is wel l made and sound. Presented in top form  but could not match first on the move.
