I appreciated your super entry, and sorry the weather caused problems for many exhibitors. A well organised show and warm hall made all the difference for the Mini Smooths, and sincere thanks to my excellent steward. Overall I found a great variation in type, construction and movement, but I felt the dogs in both challenges reflected and demonstrated exactly what I was looking for. Correct shoulder placement, sound chest construction and well angulated quarters will provide sound movement with reach on the front, drive from behind and a good outline on the move, as well as in standing position. Many looked excellent standing, but movement was poor. There were many who were a few ounces overweight, one rather thin exhibit and some teeth needed attention, which was worrying, otherwise dogs were presented in excellent condition and temperaments were excellent.
MPD (3) 1 Mills-Jones’ Carlita Made In Wales. Liked him very much, quality puppy. 2 Bell’s Tolberg Liquorice Torpedo.
