MAY SHOW HELD IN OCTOBER 2021
BEST OF BREED : 408 MELBOURNE, Mrs D & CARROLL, Mr G & PAGET, Mr M Melriding Cloak and Dagger
Thanks to the Exhibitors for a great entry and by Steward for all her help.
Puppy Dog (8)
1st Paget & Carroll's Marvale Red Cardinal, Very promising young dog, I thought
stood away in this class. Lovely head and correct eye shape. Good
neck, well placed shoulders, ribbing should extend a bit. Very correct
angulation in quarters. Just needs to gain confidence and relax on the
move.
2nd Jenning's Marvale Northern Cardinal at Jenivon, Litter brother to winner and
has many of his attributes as his brother, just longer in the loin so not quite
the same outline.
3rd Mason's Teckeltown Master Piece
Junior Dog (2)
1st Melbourne, Carroll & Paget's Melriding Cloak and
Dagger, This dog is improving as he matures. Good head, little full in
eye, good neck and shoulder placement, good bone, excellent prosternum and
ribbing, short loin, good length of first thigh, strong pasterns front and rear,
moved well keeping his good profile. Dog CC
2nd Rollo's Dougie Dessert, Rather a big Silver dapple, unplaced in puppy class.
Confident, good strong quarters but his front was rather forward and upper arm
lacking. Good condition and enjoying the proceedings.
Novice Dog (2)
1st Kay's Zilveraat Altered Carbon At Lochlip, Smaller type with rather fine
bone. Good head, neck and shoulder placement. Would be better with
more length to upper arm and first thigh to give more angulation at both ends.
However he was balanced and sound.
2nd Rollo's Dougie Dessert
Graduate Dog (1)
1st Bullis's Amaffrey Will I Am, Lovely head, correct almond shaped dark eye,
good shoulder placement, good bone for size, good ribbing, balanced quarters.
Toed in on right hind leg on this occassion.
Post Graduate Dog (2)
1st Whyte's Cheguevar Paddington Bear at Dachienne JW, Pale Red who lacked a bit
of pigment. Good length to head, rather full eye, shoulder placement OK
but would like more upper arm, balanced angulation to his quarters. Very
sound fore and aft.
2nd Burnett's Zobear's Watchman, Black/Tan with good head and was balanced, but
lacked a bit of angulation as he was rather short in upper arm and lacked length
of 1st thigh. Ribbing wasn't sufficiently long and he roached a bit on the
move.
Limit Dog (7)
1st Mason's Teckeltown Something Magic JW, Very nice type. Head good, bit
full in eye, good neck, well laid shoulder, would like a bit more upper arm.
Good forechest, bone and ribbing, well balanced hind angulation, moved well
keeping a good outline. Well handled.
2nd Jenning's Duddondaxs Judge Jude, Red of different type. Little deep
through the front but a lovely head, well laid shoulder, excellent ribbing. Good
balance to first and second thigh, would like shorter rear pastern, Sound on the
move.
3rd Strange's Stargang Magic Alfie Moon
Open Dog (6)
1st Paget & Carroll's Metadale Lark Ascending, Dog I have admired and has
certainly matured into a good specimen. Pushed very hard for the CC.
Strong enough in head, dark eye, very good forehand, good length to ribbing and
correctly angulated quarters. Covered the ground well on the move.
Res CC
2nd Coxon's Distinctly So D'arisca, Another classy male, just not quite the
front movement of my winner. Good head and eye, good neck, forechest and
ribbing. Well balanced quarters.
3rd Tite's Ayseebee Twinkling Star
Veteran Dog (1)
1st Coxon's Distinctly So D'arisca
Special Beginner Dog (1)
1st Rollo's Dougie Dessert
Good Citizen Dog - No Entries
Puppy Bitch (4)
1st Mason's Collidach Hot Springs, Very sweet brindle baby of quality.
Fair head, good eye, good neck, well balanced angulation front and rear. Moved
soundly and with purpose, keeping her lovely outline.
2nd Jenning's Warburtons Princess Poppet, Taller type black/tan girl. Good
head and dark eye. Good forechest and ribbing. Would just have
preferred a bit more first thigh and shorter rear pastern to balance the
quarters. Sound.
3rd Reed's She's Worth The Wait for Puddledub
Junior Bitch (11,3)
1st Bullis's Amaffrey Bridget Jones, Won a pretty strong class on her good
overall balance and type. Lovely head, dark eye, good angulation and
layback to shoulder. Good ribbing carried well back, correctly angulated
quarters. Moved well keeping a nice outline.
2nd Cross's Loggeta Pickled Lilly, pushed winner very hard. Very well
presented and very showy. Many of the same remarks apply as to my winner
just would like a little more bone for size.
3rd Roberts & Smith's Sonora Ginger Snap For Rayol
Novice Bitch (6,4)
1st Herald's Winterfield's June of Arabia, Black/Tan Bitch with a pretty head,
dark eye, good shoulder placement. She is well balanced in angulation but
could do with more length to upper arm and first thigh to create more correct
angles. Moved out soundly.
2nd Glasgow & Paterson's Russteck Nippie Sweetie, Unplaced in Junior. Very
nice type of bitch and very sound on the move. Unfortunately was rather
overcome today and wouldnt be handled.
Graduate Bitch (5,1)
1st Driver's Shes a kind of magic, Taller type with a lovely head and eye.
Good bone and feet, forechest and ribbing, good quarters. Moved out
soundly.
2nd Bullis's Amaffrey Truly Scrumptious, Red bitch of nice type, unfortunately
rather short in upper arm and tended to hackney in front rather than reach
correctly.
3rd Glasgow & Paterson's Russteck Nippie Sweetie
Post Graduate Bitch (6,1)
1st Mason's Teckeltown You're The One JW, Pretty black/tan of good type.
Good head, eye, neck, good layback, good ribbing, fair quarters. Won this
class on the move. Very sound keeping a good outline.
2nd Rose's Ardenrun Foolish Whisper at Rosencrantz, Another of good type. Little
short in upper arm but otherwise very balanced all through. Very sound
coming and going and kept her outline on the move.
3rd Reed's Ambershirl Aria
Limit Bitch (10)
1st Blackburn-Bennett's Stargang Cherry Bomb, Beautiful head, correct dark eye,
well angulated with ribbing carried well back and good prosternum. Good bone and
feet. Sound when she settled.
2nd Mills-Jone's Carlita Welsh Princess, Different type with lots to like.
Lovely head, good neck shoulder and front. Good ribbing, to be picky would
like slightly shorter rear pastern, very sound on the move, unlucky to meet the
winner.
3rd Bell's Tolberg Jelly Tot JW
Open Bitch (6)
1st Blackburn-Bennett's Stargang Song of Ice N'Fire, Loved the shape of this
girl, and she is so sound. Good head, neck and good shoulder, angulation
well balanced, good top and underline which she kept on the move, Lovely type
Bitch CC

close up to my winners today. Lovely head and eye, good neck, well
constructed in front and rear. sound on the move.
2nd: Bullingham's Bowetts Aventurine, Slightly heavier in type but another
lovely girl in great condition, enjoying her day.
Special Beginner Bitch (4,1)
1st Whyte's Dachienne Strawberry Swing, Clear red girl placed earlier, nice type
just lacked upper arm and therefore length of stride.
2nd Rose's Ardenrun Foolish Whisper at Rosencrantz
3rd: Beer's Lowrider Sweet Scandal
Good Citizen Bitch (2)
1st Jenning's Melriding Natasha at Jenivon, Well constructed red of good type,
