Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show 2021
MAY SHOW HELD IN OCTOBER 2021
BEST OF BREED : 7340 PAGET, Mr M J & CARROLL, Mr G Riowood Black Jack
Numerically this was a very good entry, and it was good to have some hotly contested classes. It was evident that there are a lot of new people in the breed, hope they are enjoying their time and will continue with us. The breed standard is very clear on proportions and recent changes have added clarity. I thought the 2 CC winners met these requirements very well. Some are still much too long and some have almost no ground clearance. For the first time judging this variety I was concerned with mouths. Some narrow under jaws and some lower canines were borderline on going inside the jaw- please watch this.
