MPD (2) 1st: Melbourne, Pagett & Carroll’s Melriding Cloak And Danger. DCC & BOB. Hound Puppy Group 4. Liked this male straight away. Honest make and shape with a pleasing head and expression with correct ear set. Well ribbed back and a good strong loin into a well made rear construction. With a good bend of stifle. Good bone and plenty of substance to him without being out of proportion. In good coat and condition. Well muscled condition and good to see movement with purpose and drive even in the longer grass of the ring and kept a good topline and remained balanced in profile. 2 Magri’s Bronia Cellini Rozamie. Good bone and feet with good ribbing and loin. Nice depth of brisket. A little less scope than the first and would have liked a bit more to his head, which may come with maturity.
PGD (8,1) 1 Mutton’s Ivan Poddubny Iz Omskoi Kreposti For Montone (Imp Rus). Masculine dog with a good head and expression. Into a well-made front, correct bone and feet. Depth of brisket was to the elbow. Well ribbed and good loin. Maybe carrying a little too much weight across his shoulder on the day. Good clean rich Black and Tan. Coat was in good condition and well muscled behind and moved with drive and correct footfall. 2 Strange’s Stargang Magic Alfie Moon. Not quite the head and expression of 1st. Correct front construction with a prosternum and keel. Enough bone and good feet. Lacked the condition behind to drive out as well. 3 Protheroe’s Swankydax Mr Blue Sky by Royalmaple.
LD (6) 1 Ergis’ Moragden Matthew By Siouxline. RDCC. I preferred the overall balance to the 2nd in profile on the move. Clean neck and shoulder. Good feet and prosternum into the correct depth of brisket with a strong loin. Correct conical head and good eye. Moved out well. 2 Paget & Carroll’s Metadale Lark Ascending. A little longer in rib than 1st. Correct depth of brisket and again a prosternum back into a correct elbow. Like a little more substance all through. Moved well. 3 Reed’s Deercroft Dream Chaser JW.
OD (6,1) 1 Kent’s Lokmadi Sand Dollar. A class of different types. I preferred the balance of this dog and his movement. He had a little bit of attitude on the move and tail didn’t stop. Pleasing head and expression nothing over done, with a good eye and correct ear set. Enough bone. Moved the best behind and kept his topline on the move. 2 Williams Wilmerella Go West. A bit more all through of this dog compared to 1st. Didn’t keep the same topline and balanced on the move in profile. Correct prosternum and keel. A good rear construction and moved away well. Kind expression and eye. 3 Tite’s Ayseebee Twinkling Star.
SBD (1) 1 Stevenson & Mitchell’s Rioday Dishy Master Digby At Penwooddax. Pleasing head with kind expression. Super colour and condition just lacked maturity.
VD (2,1) 1 Ergis’ Ch Siouxline Aaron JW. BV & Hound Veteran Group 3. Showed his experience in the ring and was enjoying himself moving well. Super coat and condition. Pleasing head and expression into correct neck and clean shoulder. Well ribbed back and good loin.
Good Cit D/B (1) 1 Rose’s Pennydach Mystique At Rosencrantz. Black and Tan bitch with good rich colour and in good condition with a shine to the coat. Pleasing feminine head. Well made front construction with a prosternum. Well ribbed and moved out well keeping her topline in profile.
SBB (4) 1 Rose’s Ardenrun Foolish Whisper At Rosencrantz. Nicely balanced bitch with a feminine head with correct eye and ear set. Good neck into clean well laid shoulder. Plenty of substance through. Good bone and feet. Kept her topline on the move in profile with correct footfall both ways. 2 : Strange’s Cazdachs Time To Shine. A younger bitch well balanced. Pleasing head and expression. Good rear construction kept her top line in profile and moved well from behind. She lost out on maturity and movement to 1st. 3 Gidlow’s Tia Jane Of Hulverstone.
MPB (5) 1 Melbourne, Pagett & Carroll’s Melriding Chanson Roland. A well balanced bitch with a good make and shape. Well made front with a prosternum. Good legs and feet. With depth of brisket and we well ribbed back into a strong loin. Good strong topline on the move. Like a little more condition to her rear. 2 Dalton’s Llansansior’s Miss Cupcake. Well proportioned bitch. Leg to body. Correct topline and well balanced on the move, not quite the head of 1st. Moved well behind with good bend of stifle. 3 Spall & Clarke’s Galrhia Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie To Llapsttam
PB (5,1) 1 Cross’ Loggeta Pickled Lily. RBCC.I liked this bitches make and shape, presenting a well balanced picture on the move and stacked. Correct topline. Good bone and feet and depth of brisket into a well placed keel. Feminine head and expression with a kind eye and correct ear set. Happy on the move and tail didn’t stop. 2 Chapman-Reith’s Hayvenhund Dare to Dream. A well balanced feminine head with a correct ear. Well ribbed and correct depth of brisket. Foot fall was good but did tend to rise a little over the loin on the move. 3 Magri’s Boadacea Be Creative With Rozamie
JB (9) 1 Protheroe’s Royalmaple Higledy Pigledy. BCC, Hound Junior Group 4. Lovely black and tan in super condition. Loved her on the move, full of self confidence and correct foot fall. Good clean marking as well. Clean neck and shoulder. Correct depth of brisket into a well ribbed back body and loin. Enough substance as well. A well balanced bitch with a good make and shape. 2 Williams & Moes’ Cwmdarhian Bonnie Parker. Pleasing head and expression not quite the front construction of 1st and like a slightly tighter elbow. Well ribbed and a loin into a well made rear construction with a good bend of stifle. Bone was in proportion to her. Kept her topline on the move. 3 Kent’s Lokmadi With A Dragon Tattoo.
PGB (5) 1 Kent’s Lokmadi Jingle Belle. A good honest type with nothing over done. In good coat and condition well muscled. Good lay of shoulder and a prosternum into a correct depth of brisket. Moved well both ways. Just like a little more work in her head. 2 Bullis’ Amaffrey Bridget Jones. A nice black and tan with a well made front construction with good lay of shoulder into a correct body well ribbed and sprung. Like a little more strength in the rear movement. 3 Rose’s Ardenrun Foolish Whisper At Rosencrantz.
LB (8,2) 1 Ergis’ Siouxline Rachel JW. Preferred the overall balance of this well coloured black and tan. Clean neck and shoulder . Good bone and feet. Kept her topline on the move driving from her well made rear construction. 2 Reed’s Deercroft Daybreak JW. Thought she made a better pair with 1st. Good proportions throughout. Another well coloured B&T. Lovely feminine head and expression. Clean through her neck and shoulder into a correct topline. 3 Paget & Carroll’s Keydax Pontchetrain At Marvale.

OB (4) 1 Kent’s Lokmadi Magic Dragon. An interesting class to judge due to the different types. A slightly smaller type compared to 2nd. In good coat and well muscled and conditioned. Good rear construction. Moved a well away with drive and kept a level topline on the move. Pleasing feminine head well balanced with pleasing eye creating a nice expression. 2 Zaivej’s Victorypaw Takara Ch J LT. A more continental type slightly longer on the leg and move scope all through. Good make and shape and well made and very honest. Moved well and a nice side gait in profile keeping a correct topline. 3 Beer’s Stargang Frankly Magic At Lowrider.
