Birmingham National Championship Show 2022
Many thanks to the Committee of the National Dog Show. I had a lovely day Judging and was well looked after. A big thank you to my two Stewards, they made the day so much easier. I enjoyed my day Judging the dogs and was extremely pleased with my entry and there were many quality dogs to be found.
Minor Puppy Dog. 5 Entries.
1st – Cross & Black’s – Riowood Red Boots.
A sound mover, showing his pads as he drives away from you. Good head and eye, clean teeth, nice length of neck, good front assembly onto well-kept feet. He has a sound top line, both moving and standing, well presented in excellent body and coat condition. Bright future ahead for this youngster.
2nd _ Jennings – Melriding Boris Pasternak.
Correct type head with dark eyes, good reach of neck, correct shoulder placement. Good length of ribbing. Moved well round the ring.
3rd – Morris’s Crosscop Dacampo.

A nice overall type, good size, and shape. With a promising future, and quality stamped through him Moved soundly, keeping his top line at all times. He has no outstanding faults. Super shoulder placement and good depth of brisket. Good bone with adequate ribbing, Moves round the ring with drive and determination.
2nd – Bullis’s - Amaffrey Jessie James.
A well-constructed young dog. A good shaped head and dark eye, Super shoulder placement and good depth of brisket. Good bone with adequate ribbing, kept his top line at all times. A well-balanced dog

A nice young Dog, soundly constructed making movement correct and sound at all times. Pleasing shaped head and eye with good reach of neck. Shoulders and ribbing correct with good hind angulation. Another one with a bright future I am sure.
2nd – Jennings – Marvale Northern Cardinal At Jenivon.
A well-shaped head, dark correct eyes and ear set. He has a level top line and good hind angulation. Very good deep chest and shoulder placement, Good depth of ribbing.
3rd – Magri’s - Bronia Cellini Rozamie.

1st – Francis’s - Stargang Hay Bob At Feebrick.
A nice young dog, soundly constructed, making movement correct and sound at all times. Pleasing shaped head and eye with good reach of neck. Shoulders and ribbing correct with good hind angulations. Covered the ground well.
2nd - Gleave’s – Stargang Lord Dashington.
Good head and eye, nice tight dropdown, good shoulder placement and hind angulations. A nice overall type, good size, and shape. Moved soundly.

A lovely type and well balanced. Correct head and dark oval eye, good clean teeth, a nice head carriage when moving, making him look quite impressive with a sound top line too. He is a positive mover with plenty of drive. Well presented.
2nd – Jennings – Duddondaxs Judge Jude.
A very nice head and length of neck. Has a good forechest, and depth of ribbing. Nice angulation giving a good profile. Good movement
3rd – Roberts - Wingcrest Supersonic To Denver.

1st – Moes & Williams - Cwmdarhian Jesse James. Dog CC and BOB.
A really fine example, of a sound, well-constructed dog. Was in contention with the best. He is a nice overall type and well balanced, with sound movement, keeping his top line on the move. Nice shaped head with dark well set eyes, lovely head carriage Good bone, depth of ribbing and hind angulations. Excellent coat.
2nd - Ergis’s - Siouxline Jacob. Reserve Dog C.C.
This dog is sound and well-constructed with good movement. Well-shaped head with dark eye and good reach of neck. Dropping down onto tight, well-kept feet. He has excellent shoulder placement and hind angulation. Correct type coat. He moved round the ring soundly with plenty of drive and determination. Definitely deserved the R.C.C.
3rd – Paget & Carroll’s - Riowood Black Jack.
A nicely constructed dog. He has no outstanding faults. Moves round the ring with drive and determination, excellent well-presented coat, keeping his top line at all times.

As 1, A nice young bitch, soundly constructed making movement correct at all times. No obvious faults and pleasing to see.

There were some excellent examples of the breed with no outstanding faults in this class. I liked this bitch very much and enjoyed going over her. She is well constructed, sound, and moved with drive and determination with super proud carriage of head making her outline, so impressive. Lovely head and dark almond eye with a nice expression onto good reach of neck, deep brisket, and good length of ribbing. Lovely hind angulation. No problem in awarding her the Bitch CC.

A nice overall type, good head and dark eye, good size, and shape with a correct coat. Moved soundly, keeping her top line at all times.

A really pleasing Bitch to go over, with no exaggerated faults and excellent sound movement. Lovely shaped head with dark eyes. Excellent forechest and good tight well-kept feet. Correct length of ribbing. Sound hind angulation.
