PD (1) 1 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Digby Boy. 9 months golden, teeming with quality, good carried head, good lay back of shoulder, front and topline and quarters, moved well.

JD (2) 1 Cooper’s Gayvilles Northern Lad At Jumanda. 15 months b&t, good type, lovely expression, head, good coat, well placed shoulders, nice topline, moved ok fore and aft. 2 Brooks’ Rhinestar Phoenix At Lyndarlea. 17 months red, similar remarks, moved ok, pressed winner hard, will change places many times.

PGD (5) 1 Dutson’s Rossglen Riera y Arago. 2 years old dark brindle, lots of people don’t like this colour, although in most pedigrees with good rich reds you will find way back in the pedigree. Lovely dog, good head, neck and shoulders, topline, good angulation, moved well fore and aft. Res CC. 2 Brooks’ Mutineer At Lyndarlea. 2 years old black and tan, good quality dog, nice head, expression, good neck, shoulders, topline, moved well. 3 Allan and Dick’s Auchans Talkback.

LD (5) 1 Humphries’ Avonlea Clarkes Comet. 18 mths black and brindle dog of supreme quality, good head, eye, neck and shoulders, topline, well angulated, good body, shows with aplomb, should be a big asset to the breed. 2 Phillips’ Rossglen Rebel Yell With Rossdach. 2 years old black and tan, also a quality young dog, moves and shows well, unlucky to meet Comet in such top form. 3 Allan and Dick’s Auchans Talk Of The Town. Choc and tan.

OD (3) 1 Jamieson’s Airwaves To Carlang Via Djeata. 4 years black and tan, good type with lot of quality, good head, neck, shoulders, nice body with good ribbing, nice front, moved well both ways. 2 Strachan’s Bronia Fusilier Of Calderpark. 3 years black and tan, similar notes, well presented, moved well both ways.

Vet B (2) 1 McLean’s Ch Maxwin Ice In The Sun. 8 years old shaded red, good type, good sweet expression, nice head, eye, shoulders, good topline, nice quarters, moved ok.

MPB (3) 1 Bainbridge’s Lynbain Lady Lulu. Seven-and-a-half months red, only a baby, not showing so well on the day, I think the grass moving upset both these puppies. 2 Liddle’s Roleta Woops A Daisy For Morali. Also seven-and-a-half months, golden red, similar remarks as winner, both these puppies need ring training.

PB (2) 1 Stagg’s Toscanelli Intermezzo. 10 months b&t, nice type, could make more of herself and could be shown to better advantage by her handler. 2 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Brown Bear. 9 months choc and tan, still only a baby, needs to develop more, also similar remarks to winner.

JB (4) 1 Buchan’s Oakboro Debonair At Helenium. 13 mths b&t, good type, lovely head, eye, well laid shoulders, good ribbing, nice quarters, moved and showed well. 2 Blackshaw’s Minard She’s A Peach At Ravenways. 13 months golden red, also a quality youngster, pressed winner hard, one I will watch with interest. 3 Phillips’ Rossdach Reet Petite.

PGB (11) 1 Kennedy’s Denkena Saffron Sun. Smart, 15 months, teeming with quality, a lovely type, sweet head, lovely expression, good body, legs and feet, moved well. 2 Dutson’s Rossglen Raschka. 3 years old black and tan, also a quality bitch, only on the day lost to the winner on movement, this could have been due to the loose grass in rings. 3 Stagg’s Mertynabbot Monique.

LB (7) 1 Phillips’ Rossglen Tutti Frutti With Rossdach. 3 years old tiger striped brindle, good quality bitch, so sweet, lovely head, neck, shoulders, good spring of rib, moves with lots of aplomb, should make a worthy champion. BCC. 2 Lamb’s Howrigg Tar Baby. 2 years old black and tan, a quality young bitch, so very typical to type from this well known kennel, will always be a force to reckon with. 3 Kennedy’s Denkenas Tagora.

OB (7) 1 Geeson’s Bronia Fleur de Lys at Abydachs. A good quality three-and-a-half year old, lots of personality, lovely outline, good head, neck, shoulders, topline, moved and showed well. Res CC. 2 Colley and Buchan’s Howrigg Amber At Stainesacre. Good type, 3 years old shaded red, lots of quality, moves and shows well. 3 Allan and Dick’s Auchans Confidemus. Choc dapple.
