Dachshund (Miniature Long Haired)
Judge : Margaret Hall
MPD (1) 1 Shutt’s Mystical Boy Of Donnadoon. 6-and-a-half months, cream with nice dark eye, pleasing head, lengthy topline, moved quite well.
PD (4) 1 Graham’s Jadag Brookbond. B/t in super condition, very forward for his age with everything to like, lovely masculine head, well placed shoulders, excellent topline, moves really well. BPIB. 2 Harrison’s Lacerking Jack Pot. B/t with good conformation throughout, rather proud of his tail but didn’t affect his movement. 3 Welton’s Chelane King Of The Castle.
PGD (6) 1 Barnsdale’s Chriskim Ray Of Light. Red, lovely outline, good front, firm topline, really muscular quarters which he really used to advantage. 2 Poole’s Findowrie Sir George. Nice cream but right out of coat, good head and eye, good backline, a touch lacklustre on the day, coped easily with the floor. 3 Mercer’s Bucksfizz Cocktail At Diquest.
LD (6) 1 Illidge’s Paradachs Dream Machine. Handsome shaded red who showed and moved really well, constructed well throughout, his lovely coat gleamed, won a good class. 2 Croxford’s Arbroath Mr Mackinnon. Another very good red, little between them but did prefer firsts head and neck. 3 Janieson’s Airwaves To Carlang Via Djeata.
OD (8) 1 Dunn’s Ashridge Private Ryan. Striking shaded red on top form, when so many coats were poor his was top notch and what is more, totally correct. Gorgeous head, small dark eye, lovely mouth, excellent front, stunning outline when standing, and his movement is free and effortless, just flows around the ring, beautiful Mini Long winning his second CC. 2 Mercer’s Diquest Rollo. Choc. I like this one very much, stands on superb legs and feet, moves well but not the enthusiasm of first, well let down behind, super bone. Res CC. 3 Hall’s Gayville’s Northern Classic.
MPB (7) 1 Thomas’ Shenaligh Sweet Dream. Red in gleaming condition, very confident on the move, has a lovely long stride and all the essentials, especially lovely head. 2 Blackshaw’s Minard She’s A Peach At Ravenways. Gorgeous golden/red, a real charmer on her best behaviour, liked everything about her. Very close decision. 3 Mack’s Topgem Louisa May.
PB (11) 1 Scott’s Jadag Kadbry Rose Of Maydays. Lovely choc/dapple, sister to first in PD, attractive head, long neck, lengthy topline, looked a picture on the stand. 2 Hall’s Gayvilles Hat Trick. Well bodied b/t in good coat, long ribbing, a bit unsettled on the day. 3 Welton’s Chelane Reach For The Stars.
JB (7) 1 Brown’s Northnook Ellie May At Garbosa. Choc with quality, lots of substance, stands and looks so good, unfortunately (along with many others), loathed the floor. Her day will certainly come. 2 Poole’s Findowrie Christmas Rose. Sweet head and expression, good top and underline, moved quite well. 3 Hartley’s Lyrosh Petite Fleur.
Sp YB (5) 1 Brown’s Northnook Ellie May At Garbosa. 2 Mee’s Barlaines Country Charmer. Very neat b/t, lovely head and ear fringes, put down in lovely condition, nice for type. 3 Tremble’s Northnook Firefly Summer.
PGB (7) 1 McLachlan’s Gayvilles Specially For You. B/t, low and level, super tight feet, excellent bone for size, ribbing carried right back to a short loin. 2 Illidge’s Paradachs Silver Sixpence. Well marked silver dapple, compact, sturdy, moved and showed well. 3 Norton’s Halunke Misty Moon.
LB (10) 1 Lamb’s Howrigg Tar Baby. Dark b/t very cleverly named, super type, lovely head and eye, gorgeous ear fringes, strong neck and backline, good in front and excellent angulation behind, carries herself well. CC and BOB. 2 Thomas’ Shenaligh Sweet Symphony. Another quality bitch with shinine red coat, lovely deep body, excellent ribbing, showed very well. 3 Breese’s Silkdown Persephone.
OB (10) 1 Mee’s
Barlaine Be My Valentine. Beautifully balanced b/t, lovely head with the
sweetest expression, super well placed ears, prominent breast bone, good layback
of shoulder, well bodied, muscled quarters. Res CC. 2 McLean’s Maxwin Eye
Fidelity. Red, nice size, pleasing head, neck and topline, moved out strongly. 3
Mack’s Kanshan Saphire.
