MPD (12) 1 Thomas’ Shenaligh Sweet Tiger. Very little to separate 1 and 2, two quality babies just 7 months. Both had good heads and fronts. I adored Sweet Tiger’s tight feet, excelled in front movement, just needs to tighten up all round, should have a bright future. 2 Angear’s Ridgegrove Time Will Tell. Very showy youngster, I’m sure will mature well. Good angulation fore and aft. Just lost out to the winner on front movement. 3 Illidge’s Paradachs Murphy Moonshine.
PD (9) 1 Hayes’ Dolyharp Duet with Dialhouse. Very elegant red with lovely dark eye and good pigmentation. Reachy neck leading to good shoulder placement. Level topline, angled well throughout. Tightly bunched feet, went round the ring like a train. Coat just needs finishing off. 2 Harrison’s Lacerking Jimmy Mac. B/T and a different type. Long, low and level with good feet. Not the free flowing movement of the winner but a worthy 2nd place. 3 Leyshon and Clarke’s Jadag Silver Heir.
JD (8) 1 Buchan and Colley’s Ebony Night Runner at Helenium. A lot of different types in this class, I’m sure the first three will change places many times. Night runner b/t, very low, nice head of good proportions. Rich tan markings, good feet, well angulated front and back and moved well. 2 Breese’s Silkdown On Parade. Just out of puppy so not as mature as the winner. Moved well both ways, in good coat. Promising youngster. 3 Poole’s Findowrie Society Guy.
PGD (5) 1 Broad’s Jenwood Ring of Bells. A mixed bunch in this class, some overweight and some too thin. Ring of Bells S/r, beautiful masculine head, dark oval eye, very elegant on the move, keeping his backline at all times. Would have preferred more body on him. 2 Cooper’s Gayvilles Northern Lad at Jumanda. B/T. Different type, lower and longer giving better angulation throughout and good driving action. Coat slightly wavy. 3 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Bounty Boy.
LD (6) 1 Illidge’s Paradachs Dream Come True. This was a difficult decision and I’m sure the first two will change places often. Dream Come True is a taller type, super head and eye, complemented by long ear fringes. Neat feet, very elegant and true both ways. 2 Graver’s Melvalleyt Midnight Star. B/T in full bloom, the 3 Ls apply and was well constructed throughout. 3 Palin’s Diquest Sea Breez Around Sanmik.
OD (9) 1 Roberts’ Ch Denver Jack Frost. Fabulous clear red, balanced head with dark pigment. Good shoulder placement, long and low with strong quarters, in full bloom, showed himself to best advantage. CC. 2 Angear’s Ch Ridgegrove Cuddley Dudley. B/T, well angulated throughout. Balanced head, good lay of shoulder and spring of rib. In tip-top condition and moved with drive, Res CC. 3 Jamieson’s Airwaves to Carlang via Dajeata.
MPB (16) 1 Turner’s Rafthouse Tallulah. Very pretty clear red, lovely head, correct eye, super front and well angulated quarters. Tight feet, good bone, moved and showed well. Very elegant baby, handled to perfection. 2 Burge and Rossiter’s Barok Bellerania of Creekpit. Although very raw, another good one with super prosternum, level top, good turn of stifle. Good rear action, handler needs to be firmer with her. 3 Earley’s Yelva Dusky Princess.
PB (7) 1 Harrison’s Lacerking Definately Katie. Very promising puppy. Low to the ground with good angulation. Sound front action with good length of ribbing and well let down quarters. Moved well. 2 Burge and Rossiter’s Barok Ballerania of Creekpit. 3 Edward’s Barok Better by Design.
JB (13) 1 Angear’s Ridgegrove Celebration. S/R, easy winner. Stood out in this class. Very elegant, prominent front. Dark eye, tight feet. Sufficient coat. Level topline leading to good rear angulation and moved with style. 2 Oxley’s Dinkidax Amaryllis. Balanced head, dark eye with good spectacles. Would prefer more reach of neck. Looked a picture standing, good length of ribbing. Well let down quarters. My notes say ‘very good conformation - just needs more oomph!’. 3 Williamson’s Barkroyal Galaxy Quest.
PGB (18) 1 Welton’s Chelane Crown Jewel. Clear red, very showy, level topline and neat under carriage. Good feet, well angulated throughout. Good head and eye fringes, enough coat and a free mover. 2 Hall’s Gayville’s Hat Trick. B/T. Lovely to go over, everything where it should be but lets herself down by not getting her head up on the move. 3 Tomlinson’s Mistynook Cinders to Winglow.
LB (11) 1 Robert’s, Denver’s Babycham. Outstanding clear red. Good flat coat. Balanced head, tightly bunched feet. Ribs well sprung. Good conformation throughout. Moved effortlessly. CC and BOB. 2. McLean’s, Maxwin Lady Madonna. Superbly constructed red. Good spring of rib. Conical head, good ear fringes lacking in so many. Tight feet. In full bloom. Moved and showed well. RCC. 3. Norton’s, Halunke Miss Eleanor.
OB. (9). 1. Hall’s, Gayvilles Double Take. Good class. Well constructed b/t.
Good head framed with long fringes. Sufficient coat. Long and low with well
angulated quarters. Super on the move. Well handled. 2. Wood’s, Wildstar Wright
Royal. Exhibitor had to rush into the ring and unfortunately paid heavily. Very
stylish red with good angulation throughout. Free mover, in full bloom. 3.
Wallace’s, Cheslan Reethi Rah.
