Pigmentation still needs to be improved in some exhibits, they had brown noses. light nails are still coming through and several exhibits had tartar stained teeth which does detract from the exhibit. I only found one bad mouth, but a few had rather narrow jaws. On the plus side presentation has improved and most were presented in clean condition.
VD. (1). 1. Mack’s, Sarde Leap Into Action of Topgem. B/t. Pleasing head, well arched neck. Well filled front. Kept a good outline at all times. Moved and showed well.
MPD. (5). 1. Phillips’, Rossdach Blackberry Way. B/t. Masculine head. Correct front. Moved well but needs to tighten up. Should have a promising future. 2. Harrison’s, Lacerking Jimmy Mac. B/t. Correct head, well arched neck. Lovely tight feet. Moved ok. 3. Johnson’s, Charpurdy Master McCoy.
PD. (3). 1. Breese’s, Silkdown on Parade. Red masculine head with good pigmentation. Lovely well filled oval front. Kept a level topline at all times. Moved round the ring with style. One to watch out for. BP. 2. Bedford’s, Dinkidudlor Bailey Besso. Cream, different type to first. For me a little too upright in shoulder and I would prefer better feet. Moved out well. 3. Buchan and Colley’s, Ebony Night Runner at Helenium.
JD. (2). 1. Hanney’s, Bronia Star of Oz. B/t dog I liked a lot. Scores well in all departments. Lovely well filled front, well arched neck. Masculine head. Correct shoulders, well sprung ribs. Moved with style. Well angulated. Pleased to award him the RCC. One to watch out for. 2. Cooper’s, Jumanda’s Hot Chocolate. C/t. Out of coat on the day. Of pleasing type. Needs to mature. Covered the ground well.
PGD. (5). 1. Illidge’s, Paradachs Dream Come True. Shaded red. Pleasing head and neck. Very elegant. Well filled front. Moved and showed well. Kept his outline at all times. 2. Jamieson’s, Djeata Riven Within the Ring. B/t. Shy on the table so did not give out his many virtues. Tends to lose his topline on the move. 3. Cooper’s, Gayvillie Northern Lad at Jumanda.
LD. (4). 1. Harrison’s, Lacerking Jack Pot. Heavy coated b/t. Correct in all departments. Masculine head, well arched neck well filled front. Covered the ground well. 2. Dutson’s, Rossglen Rosso Di Cadore. B/t. Of a nice type. Needs more weight to finish the picture. On the day I preferred the shoulder of winner. 3. Mee’s, Barlaine’s Crusader.
OD. (3). 1. Angear’s, Ch. Ridgegrove Cuddley Duddley. B/t. Have admired him from the ringside and was not disappointed on handling him, your hands just flow when you go over him. Masculine head without coarseness, lovely long neck, correct shoulders. Well filled oval front, well sprung ribs. Correct well angulated hindquarters which gave thrust on the move. Moved with great style and verve. Beautifully presented had no hesitation in awarding him the CC and BOB. 2. Jamieson’s, Airwaves to Carlang via Djeata. B/t of pleasing type. Scores well in all departments. Correct well filled front. Moved and showed well. Considered him for the Reserve CC. 3. Strachan’s, Bronia Eusilier of Calderpark.
MPB. (3). 1. Cooper’s, Jumanda’s Lil. Red, very immature. Moved and showed well. Enjoyed her day out.
PB. (6). 1. Potts’, Ralines Dealist at Klondyke. Clear red very pretty bitch. Sweet head and expression. Well filled front, lovely long ribs. Kept her outline at all times. Covered the ground well. BPB. 2. Mee’s, Barlaine’s Lady Charlotte. B/t. Very elegant feminine head. Well arched neck. Moved well but for me a shade narrow all through. 3. Charnley’s, Northnook Nutmeg.
JB. (6). 1. Marrison’s, Sonrimar Quick Silver. Well marked silver dapple. Pretty head and expression. Well sprung ribs. Moved ok keeping her outline at all times. 2. Thomas’s, Shenaligh Sea Holly. B/t. Very immature. Sweet head and expression. Well filled front. Needs to settle in topline on the move to finish the picture. 3. Charnley’s, Northnook Mystic Maid.
PGB. (8). 1. Crawley’s, Doujac Duette. Black and cream, easy winner in this class. Scores well all through. Correct shoulders, well filled front. Kept her outline at all times. Covered the ground with ease. 2. Dore’s, Sarade Fantasia on Ice at Cindertrack. Cream. Pleasing head and expression. Well sprung ribs. I preferred the shoulder of winner. 3. Johnson’s, Halunke Miss Angelica at Charpurdy.
LB. (5). 1. Mack and Dunn’s, Topgem Louisa May JW. B/t. A new one to me, everything I was looking for. Elegant head with a nice expression. Correct shoulders. Well filled front. Well sprung rib. Well angulated hindquarter which she used to advantage on the move. Kept her outline at all times. Well handled to get the best out of her. Pleased to award her her third and crowning CC. Congratulations. 2. Shutt’s, Jadag Kadbry Rose of Donnadoon. Chocolate dapple of taller type to winner. Nice head and expression. Well filled oval front. Moved with great style. Liked her a lot considered her for the Reserve CC. 3. Mee’s, Barlaine’s Country Charmer.
OB. (10). A class
with lots of different types. 1. Goddard’s, Ch. Minard Krystal Darque. Black and
tan, your hands just flow over her sweet head and expression. Correct shoulders,
well filled front. Excels on the move. A pity she was out of coat. Very well
handled to get the best out of her. Pleased to award her the RCC. 2. Thomas’s,
Shenaligh Sweet Symphony. Clear red. Another that scores well in all
departments. Excellent feet. Correct front and shoulders. Keeps her outline at
all times. Sure will change places with my winner on another day. 3. Lamb’s,
Howrigg Tar Baby.
