Black & tan, excellent head & eye, great length of neck, tight shoulders, gd bone, well filled front, firm topline & underline, gd bend of stifle, well muscled, moved & showed to perfection, DCC; 2 Buchan & Colley’s Ebony night Runner at Helenium. Nice quality b/t, unfortunate to meet 1 in such superb condition, excellent head & eye, correct body proportions, gd depth of body, nice neat hocks, v free mover, presented beautifully; 3 Cooper’s Jumanda’s Hot Chocolate. SpY (2). 1 Leggett’s Chriskim Dark Lighter in Sonsrymes. B/t d, stood alone in this class, pleasing head & eye, ok in front & feet, gd reach of neck, topline & underline, moved well. V glamorous shaded red d with gd expression, correct head & eye, nice oval front, gd bone & feet, well placed shoulders & depth of ribbing, well muscled & gd bend of stifle, well presented, liked him v much; 2 Cooper’s Gayvilles Northern Lad at Jumanda. B/t, nice d, masculine head, neat elbows, gd bone & body proportions, moved well. LD (12). 1 Graver’s Melvalley Midnight Star. Really liked this d as soon as he entered the ring, not disappointed on going over him. Gd quality d with correct expression, masculine head & nice shaped eye, gd length of neck, well placed shoulders & length of upper arm, well filled body, moved soundly at all times keeping firm topline, will watch his future, glad to award him the RCC; 2 Turner’s Talines Dumbledore. Top drawer d, shaded cream with gd pigmentation, unfortunate to meet 1 in such fine condition, quality head & eye, gd front & feet, well sprung rib, nice neat hocks, gd bend of stifle, moved with great ease; 3 Harrison’s lacerking Jack Pot. B/t pleasing d with gd expresson, gd front & depth of keel, well placed shoulders & tight elbows, moved well keeping a gd level topline at all times; 2 Watkins’ Bidornis Pinball Wizard. Nice d, compact & gd masculine head & eye, well filled body & muscled neat hocks, moved soundly. MPB (5). 1 Palin’s Sanmik’s Molly. V nice little red b, sweet feminine look, needs more time to settle & mature, will watch her progress; 2 Carstensen Burntbarn Black Lace. Nice mp b/t pleasing expression & eye, gd front & feet, just a little too plump which detracted from shape; 3 Cooper’s Jumanda’s Lily. PB (9). 1 Barlaine’s lady Charlotte. V gd p to go over, excellent feminine head & nice dark eye, gd front & bone, nice reach of neck leading in to well laid shoulders, gd spring of rib, gd topline & underline, moved soundly; 2 Charnley’s Northnook Nutmeg. Nice chocolate p, v gd head & expression, gd forechest, neat elbows, well ribbed, neat hocks, moved freely round the ring, coat of correct texture, will watch her progress; 3 Williamson’s Barkroyal Galaxy Quest. V nice compact b/t b of gd size & shape, excellent head & expression, gd oval front, gd bone, nice reach of neck leading into well placed shoulders, gd ribbing, well muscled, presented & handled well; 2 Turner’s Rafthouse Glitterbug. Nice red presented to perfection, feminine head & nice eye, nice body proportions, firm topline & gd underline, gd coat, neat hocks, just felt 1 had the edge today; 3 Welton’s Chelane Crown Jewel. SpYB (6). 1 Welton’s C Crown J. Nice little girl, had gd body proportions, well filled front, nice feet & bone, well laid back shoulder, gd ribbing, firm topline, moved well; 2 Kenney’s Denkena’s Lady Bear. Nice b, unlucky to meet 1, gd front & feet, nice ribbing. Just preferred the outline of 1; 3 Sidgwick’s Rafthouse Eye Explosive at Paulian. PGB (7). 1 Crawley’s Kenzed Red Campion at Doujac. Super b of excellent type, gd body proportions, excellent depth of keel, tight feet & elbows, gd reach of neck leading into well placed shoulders, long ribbing, gd bend of stifle, presented to the best standard, moved with style & purpose, pushed hard for CC, happy to award RCC, will watch with interest, well done! 2 Priestley’s Hillstar Maxzina. Clear red, sweet feminine b with gd expression, gd balance of body proportions, filled front, gd length of neck, nice topline, moved & showed well; 3 Tremble’s Northnook Firefly Summer. LB (9). 1 Phillips’ Rossglen Tutti Frutti with Rossdach. Brindle, gd all round, gd front & feet, tight elbows, level topline, gd underline, moved with style & purpose, neat short hocks; 2 Shutt’s Jadag Kadbry Rose of Donnadoon. Choc dapple, sweet expression with nice eye shape, ok in front, well presented, gd reach of neck, firm topline, moved well; 2 Norton’s Halunke Miss Eleanor. OB (11). 1
Goddard’s Ch Minard Krystal Darque. Oozes quality & demands the attention she so
rightly deserves. Excellent throughout with gd head carriage, excellent reach of
neck, gd bone & well filled front, well muscled which showed in the way she
flowed round the ring so effortlessly, firm topline, showed in immaculate
condition, demanded the CC & BOB, so pleased she went on to gain G2 in Hound
Group; 2 Wood’s Wildstar Wright Royal. Shaded red, presented in full coat, put
down to perfection, quality b, sweet feminine head & gd eye, tight feet &
elbows, gd lay back of shoulder, firm topline, neat hocks, moved with verve; 3
Lamb’s Howrigg Tar Baby.
