HOUNDSHOW 2003 Dachshund (Miniature Long Haired) Judge: Mrs Lovaine
Coxon
MINIATURE LONGHAIRED I was able, from such a good entry to find enough exhibits with correct front construction to satisfy my top placings. However, overall fronts have not improved very much since I last judged the breed. I also found too many with short keel and ribbing. Creams were of good type and I found that eye rims and noses were well pigmentated but too many had white nails. Presentation in all cases was of a very high standard. MPD. (9). 1. Poodle’s, Findowrie Society Guy. Clear rich red. Promising baby who used his quarters well. 2. Bedford’s, Dinkidudlor Bailey Besso.
