PD. (4). 1. Brown’s, Jympems Houdini at Garbosa. Brindle. A cracking puppy. Super outline with good reach and drive. Very stylish in profile. Level topline. Very good parallel front movement. Everything going for him. RCC and BP. 2. Illidge’s, Paradachs Murphy Moonshine. Pleasing head. Good neck and topline. Smart and collected in profile but a touch narrow in front as yet. Good feet. 3. Robert’s, Denver Jack Flash.

JD. (6). 1. Liddle’s, Abbeydac Diamond Lad for Morali. Fawn brindle. Long conical head. Correct topline. Good hind extension although a shade long in back. Fair front assembly. Just out of puppy at the rangy stage. 2. Strachan’s, Bronia Rob Roy of Calderpark. B/tan. Nice head, eye and fringing. Pleasing overall appearance. Let down by narrow front. Maturity should help here. 3. Breese’s, Silkdown on Parade.

PGD. (2). 1. Breese’s, Silkdown on Parade. Red. Very nice head and neck. Kept his outline moving. Rather profuse coat confuses the issue. 2. Brooks’, Lyndarlea Bounty Boy. Chocolate brindle. Not as co-ordinated on the move and rather close in front. Pleasant general appearance but preferred the head of winner.

LD. (5). 1. Illidge’s, Paradachs Dream Come True. Sh/red had the best construction here with good shoulder placement and upper arm. Decent width in front. Good ribbing and follow through. Nice turn of stifle. Flowing side gait. Would prefer a shade more bone but a very nice exhibit. 2. Brooks’, Lyndarlea Digby Boy. Cream, lovely head and eye, dark pigmentation. Very good prosternum, sadly lacking in many. Very sound behind. 3. Hall’s, Gayvilles Northern Defender.

OD. (4). 1. Robert’s, Ch. Denver Jack Frost. Cream with lovely dark points. Lovely head with decent depth of muzzle. Excellent forehand. Well boned, super feet. Good reach and hind extension. Profuse coat but not obscuring too much. Loved him on the move, was absolutely sound and true. CC and BOB. 2. Brooks’, Rhinestar Phoenix at Lyndarlea. Sh/red. Very masculine head and dark eye. Good flowing shape with nice hind action but could not quite match the front of winner. 3. Strachan’s, Bronia Fusilier of Calderpark.

PB. (5). 1. Heiser’s, Polinard Seventh Angell. Sh/red. Very nice shape especially in quarters. Fair forehand and front movement. A bit overcome by the cold as were many. 2. Shackleton’s, Edmay the Lark Ascending. Sh/red with pleasing head proportions. Was a little down on the forehand and a shade longer in back than winner but made a pleasing enough picture on the move. 3. Kennedy’s, Denkena Zara Bay.

JB. (2). 1. Mee’s, Barlaines Lady Charolotte. B/tan with a gorgeous head, ears, neck and topline. Very well constructed throughout, kept a lovely outline standing and moving. Just the right amount of lovely flat coat and fringing which I do like to see. Super head carriage and outlook. RCC. 2. Morrison’s, Bromor Galactica. B/tan another lovely flat coat covering a generally pleasing outline but I preferred the front of winner.

PGB. (4). 1. Heiser’s, Polinard Winning Weighs. Sh/cream. Good forehand, bone and feet. Best front coat but well presented of good texture. 2. Hall’s, Gayvilles Maid to Order. B/tan. Not the head of winner being rather fine in muzzle. Generally pleasing in profile movement with reach and coming towards me which cost her this place. 3. Charnley’s, Northnook Nutmeg.

LB. (8). 1. Robert’s, Denvers Babycham. Sh/red, same super forehand bone and feet as her half brother. True and parallel in front. Outline maintained at all times. Lovely head and eye, decent width and depth of muzzle. My only criticism is a lack of ear fringing which seems to accompany a certain coat type and one can’t have everything. An excellent exhibit. CC her third. 2. Graham’s, Jadag Fornton’s, Continental. B/tan. Excellent outline enclosed in a lovely flat coat. Well ribbed, good bone. A shade close in front but moved true enough. Good follow through. Nice hindquarters. Nice head carriage but preferred the head of winner. 3. Shutt’s, Jadag Kadbry Rose of Donnadoon.

OB. (6). 1. Brown’s, Ch/Ir Ch. Northnook Ellie May at Garbosa. Chocolate and tan I have long admired from the ringside. Not in the pink of coat condition, but her excellent construction and movement could not be ignored. 2. Mack and Dunn’s, Ch. Topgem Louisa May JW. B/tan. Lovely type in excellent coat and condition. Good bone and feet. Well ribbed back. Moved well. Close up but I preferred the head and verve of winner. 3. Mee’s, Barlaines be my Valentine.
