MINIATURE LONG HAIRED
I thought the construction of the forequarters in most exhibits, particularly the length and placement of the upper arm, has improved greatly since the last time I judged the breed. I am still concerned about the length of loin. The standard asks for a short, strong loin and if it wasn’t it was penalised. I was also concerned about fluffy hair that seems to be appearing particularly round the neck. I found it quite distracting as it made the neck appear short and stuffy. Nevertheless I was extremely pleased with all my prize winners and in both challenges all the exhibits went away showing evenly spaced legs.
