MINIATURE LONG HAIRED
This was the first time I had judged this
delightful variety and I enjoyed my day. A lovely entry awaited me and I was
pleased with the quality of the exhibits.
MPD (9,1) 1 Worswick’s Dolyharp April Evening. Pleasing red boy, lovely
head, dark eye and nice expression. Good neck and shoulder, well filled front,
nice ribbing and well angulated quarters. Moved soundly both ways and has good
reach and drive. Most promising. BPD. 2 Leyshon’s Picklescott Proclaim. Smart
b/t baby of lovely type, with good bone and neat feet. Pleased in front
construction, good ribs and neat quarters. Showed well and moved freely. 3
Davis’ Corrinbar Blue Moon.
PD (3) 1 Boyle’s Polinard Mill of Fortune for Zarcrest. Most attractive s/m
cream. Presenting a lovely overall shape and wel put together, with good front
and ribbing. Moved freely and shown in excellent coat and condition. 2 Oxley’s
Dinkidax Tidal Wave. Clear red, pleasing head and expression. Good front and
upperarm, nice neck and topline and well made quarters. Went well just preferred
the ribbing of the winner. 3 Layton’s Lyndarlea Deeno.
JD (8,2) Close decision. Norton’s Halunke Just Jarvis. Promising youngster,
red with a super head and expression. Nice neck and topline, well made front
with good upperarm, ribbing and quarters. Nice bone and neat feet. Moved soundly
and showed well. Well presented and in lovely condition. 2 Colley and Buchan’s
Stainsacre the Riddler. Quality b/t presenting a pleasing outline. Masculine
head with a nice expression. Neat front, good keel and ribbing. Well angulated
quarters, moved soundly keeping a level topline. Not as settled as the winner on
the day, but should do well - I liked him a lot. 3 Phillips’ Rossdach Your Song.
PGD (8,2) 1 Brook’s Lyndarlea Piper Kris. Well presented s/m cream. Very
neat all through with a good front and upperarm, well sprung ribs and short
loin. Strong quarters, moved and showed well - easy winner. 2 McCarrthy’s
Nagshall Polar Seal. Pleasing overall shape, good bone and neat feet. Nice head
and dark eye. Good neck and front, moved freely covering the ground. Happy
temperament, not as good in rib as the winner. 3 Cope’s Chariomah Brandy Splash.
LD (10,2) 1 Close decision between two lovely boys. 1 Angear’s Ridgegrove
Alfie Moon. Elegant b/t of lovely type and in excellent coat and condition. Good
front construction with snug fitting elbows, good ribbing and well angulated
quarters. Super head and eye, proud head carriage. Moved soundly and freely. Res
CC. 2 Poole’s Findowrie Man About Town. Smart red with lovely elegant head, nice
neck and topline. Correct front and ribbing, good bone and neat feet. Well
presented and in excellent condition. Moved with reach and drive. 3 Bastable’s
Locksheath Toolangi JW.
OD (14,3) 1 Worswick’s Ch Dolyharp Don Basilio JW. Impressive cream with
lovely dark pigmentation, presenting an excellent outline. Lovely masculine
head, good neck and head carriage, well made throughout with good bone and well
padded feet. Excellent angulation front and rear, good ribbing, has width and
substance. Shown in lovely coat and condition. Moved with reach and drive. An
excellent showman. CC. 2 Buchan and Colley’s Ebony Night Runner at Helenium.
Masculine b/t of an excellent type with good bone and substance. Good front
construction, well ribbed body with nice bend of stifle. Neat hocks, moved
freely and with drive. Sound both ways and well presented. 3 Brooks’ Lyndarlea
Choc Ice.
MPB (11,3) 1 Worswick’s Dolyharp Liberty Belle. Very appealing red,
attractive head, good neck and front assembly. Nice ribbing, good bone and neat
feet. Nice length and topline, moved freely with drive. Showed very well, a
promising baby. 2 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Lacey. Sweet b/t of just 6 months. Lovely
type and nice overall shape. Feminine head, good body proportions, rear movement
not as good as the winner on the day but lovely in profile and should do well. 3
Cawley and King’s Summerview Limited Edition.
PB (5,2) 1 Boyle’s Zarcrest Black Classic. Glamourous b/t with a beautiful
head and expression. Good neck and keel, well filled front, good ribbing and
quarters. Has width and substance, good bone and excellent feet. Moved really
well with forward reach and drive. Well handled and in excellent coat and
condition. Considered for higher honours. BP. 2 Cooper’s Jumanda’s Black Magic.
Another smart bitch of pleasing type and nice overall shape. Lovely head and
eye, good body proportions. Moved and showed well. 3 Richardson’s Zadophie
Moonlight Madness.
JB (14,2) 1 Norton’s Halunke Just Jessica. Well balanced b/t who kept her
outline on the move. Feminine head and lovely expression. Good reach of enck,
well made front with neat fitting elbows. Good ribbing and quarters. Moved
soundly with good reach and drive, well presented. 2 Thomas’ Shenaligh Sweet
Sapphire. Elegant red, attractive head and eye. Excellent front and keel, well
ribbed and nice turn of stifle. Good bone and feet. Moved soundly covering the
ground well. Just preferred the topline of the winner on the move. 3 Lake’s
Bronia Miss Gucci at Ollyrue.
PGB (9,5) 1 Johnson’s Charpurdy’s Star Turn. Smaller light red, presenting a
smart outline, sweet head with well fitting elbows and good depth of chest.
Shown in nice condition and sleek, flat coat. Moved smartly keeping her shape on
the move. 2 Earley’s Yalva What A Blessing. Shaded red, pleasing head and eye.
Nice body proportions, front construction and ribbing ok. Moved out well and in
good coat and condition. 3 Phillips’ Rossdach Nothin Compairz T T.
LB (13,4) Super class of quality exhibits. 1 Geeson’s Abydahcs Attitude. JW.
Stylish b/t young lady who presented a lovely outline and has great ring
presence. Pretty head amd nice expression, reachy neck and a level topline.
Sound front and well sprung ribs carried well back. Good quarters and neat, low
hocks. Moved true with great reach and drive. Well presented. 2 Angear’s
Ridgegrove Dancing Shadow. Super quality b/t of lovely type. Beautiful head and
eye and so well made throughout. Excellent front construction, good ribbing and
quarters, moved with reach and drive. Shown in lovely condition, beautiful flat
silky coat. Not quite as firm behind as the winner. 3 Wood’s Wildstar Wilhemina.
OB (8,4) 1 Goddard’s Ch Minard Krystal Darque. A truly beautiful b/t,
gorgeous feminine head and a lovely expression. Elegant neck, correct front
construction and excellent spring of rib and hind angulation. Lovely bone and
neat feet. Moved superbly with great forward reach and drive. In tip top
condition, has style and presence, A real star, CC and BOB, delighted when she
won the group and Res BIS. 2 Davis’ Corrinbar Blue Angel. Very feminine
s/dapple. Long, low and level giving a super outline. Lovely head with appealing
expression. Good front and ribbing, well made quarters, nice bone and neat feet.
Shown in lovely coat and moving soundly with drive. 3 Thomas’ Shenaligh Sweet
Dreams.
