MINIATURE LONG HAIRED

A marvellous entry, thank you v much, though this meant that some d’s went cardless. We must watch temperaments, a number of d’s backed off on the table & one even growled at me. The other problem is lack of bone. I feel too many are getting v fine. It IS possible to have a miniature with gd bone, please don’t let them get too toyish. However, there are gd exhibits out there. Hindquarters have improved & so have heads. Toplines & ribbing are generally gd but there are a lot of loose elbows. Mouths are ok & there are less heavy, wavy coats. MPD (5). 1 Welton’s Chelane Masterclass. Promising red, gd head, well laid shoulders with tight elbows, gd hindquarters, free moving; 2 Folkes’ Dacfolk Jaspers Lad. Small red, still rather raw but well made, low & level; 3 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Candle In The Dark. PD (5). 1 Graham’s Fornton’s Special. Really liked this b/t so well balanced, lovely head, gd shoulders with tight elbows, keel well back, strong hindquarters, could move with a little more enthusiasm, BP; 2 Poole’s Findowrie Sky Lord. Red d with pleasing head with oval eye, gd sloping shoulders & tight elbows, well ribbed, hindquarters, well angulated, moving out with drive; 3 Palins’ Rodima Ice Diamond. JD (7). 1 Barnsdale’s Chriskim Ray Of Sunlight. My find of the day. Lovely shaded red in excellent coat, well off for bone, pleasing head & expression, gd shoulders, well ribbed, excellent rear, really driving round the ring, RCC; 2 Croxford’s Arbroath Lord Of Strathspey. Compact red with gd bone, well constructed with gd forechest & ribbing, moved with plenty of drive. Would like a little more neck; 3 Leyshon’s Picklescott Proclaim. PGD (9). 1 Oxley’s Dinkidax Tidal Wave. V nice red with masculine head, gd oval front, tight elbows, well ribbed, moving soundly from strong hindquarters; 2 Young’s Willowheath The Darkness. Compact b/t with plenty of bone & pleasing head, gd shoulders, running into level backline, well angulated hindquarters, moving well; 3 Farmer’s Jenwood Summer Solstice. LD (7). This was a v hot class. 1 Welton’s Chelane Casper Carrot. Lovely clear red, excellent bone, correct coat, well angulated front & hindquarters, moving soundly. I see he is sire of my MPD winner; 2 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Piper Kris. Cream in excellent coat, gd head with oval eye, well laid shoulders, level topline, moving freely from strong hindquarters; 3 Poole’s Findowrie Man About Town. OD (7). 1 CC, Angear’s Ch Ridgegrove Alphie Moon. Lovely b/t, so sound as are all from this kennel, pleasing masculine head, gd layback, tight elbows, gd bend of stifle, well off for bone, driving strongly round the ring; 2 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Choc Ice. Another lovely d, oval front with gd lay of shoulders, tight elbows, well angulated hindquarters, moving level with confidence; 3 Miller & Shutt’s Am Ch Kenkaye’s Sun Chaser. V (6). 1 Turner’s Rafthouse Eye Jinks. 7 yrs old b/t. Just proves that it is possible to have a d with gd bone that stays under the weight, excellent front, well ribbed, gd strong hindquarters, moving level with drive; 2 Williamson’s Barkroyal Wyspering Willo. 7 yrs old b/cream b, pleasing feminine head, correct front, keel well back, moving strong around the ring with level topline; 3 Earley’s Yelva Prince Charming. MPB (4). Difficult class to judge as they were all over the place. 1 Brown’s Devoncream Ruby Red Dress. Brindle, won here on her sound construction, pretty head, gd balance, just needs to tighten in topline & move more positively, promising p; 2 Shutt’s Donadoon Ebony Angel. B/t, well made baby with gd front & moving level but giving her handler a hard time; 3 Brooks’ Lyndarlea In My Thoughts. PB (8). 1 Angear’s Ridgegrove Moon Dance. Another promising one from this kennel, b/t with gd front, reach of neck & tight elbows, well angulated rear & driving confidently round the ring, BPB; 2 Wallace’s Cheslan Fenfushi Rah. Pretty small red b, v gd front, feminine head with oval eye, well off for bone, using hocks well, low & level; 3 Poole’s Findowrie Wine N Roses. JB (12). 1 Palin’s Gigi Ginger Of Sanmik. Pleasing outline & type, gd front with sloping shoulders, well ribbed, strong hindquarters, moving out well with level topline; 2 Leyshon’s Picklescott Posy. Sound red b with gd bone & feet, oval front, tight elbows, ribbing well back, moving true with drive. I see she is by my veteran winner; 3 Barnsdale’s Chriskim Ice Maiden. PGB (18). 1 Collin’s Ambermist Sweet Dreams. V pretty b, lovely outline, feminine head, gd neck & front assembly, well ribbed, moved freely with drive; 2 Robert’s Denver Susi Wong. B/t with plenty of bone, well placed shoulders, ribbing & keel well back, strong hindquarters, moving well; 3 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Gem Of Nite. LB (19). A v strong class with some gd d’s going cardless. 1 Turner’s Willowheath Silver Sequin From Rafthouse. Lovely silver dapple, so sound, oval front with gd layback, tight elbows, strong hindquarters, plenty of bone, moving with drive. Wish she was better dappled; 2 Hanney’s Bronia Serenity. Another lovely b, pleasing head, gd shoulders with tight elbows, well off for bone, well angulated hindquarters, moving well; 3 Banting’s Indicott Moonglow. OB (12). 1 Goddard’s Ch Mindard Krystal Darque. Everything has already been said about this beautiful b. She is so sound, everything in the right place, holds a gd outline & really flows around the ring. Her temperament was steady as a rock, despite her recent unpleasant experience. CC, BOB & RIBS; 2 Boyle’s Zarcrest Gold Legacy. Glamorous red b with correct coat, gd depth & length, excellent spring of rib, well angulated rear, moving well, RCC: 3 Wallace’s Cheslan Reethi Rah.
