MINIATURE LONG HAIRED - DOGS
I found the fronts of quite a few exhibits not as called for in the Breed Standard, they had short upper arms, loose shoulders and narrow in front, still a few tummy tapers, temperament were on the whole good as was presentation and most had good coats. MPD (7). 1 Welton’s Chelane Masterclass. Lovely type, tight shoulders, nice head, level topline, moved out well, BP; 2 Crawley’s Doujac Dressed to Impress. Black/tan, similar to 1 but not the movement; 3 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Starlight. PD (6). 1 Poole’s Findowrie Sky Lord. Red of good length, nice head, good length of ribbing and plenty of angulation, true mover; 2 Lyndarlea Candle in the Dark. Well marked dapple, correct oblique eye, sound d, not quite the coat of 1; 3 Brown’s Devoncream Dew in Thyme. JD (7). 1 Barnsdale’s Chriskim Ray of Sunlight. Sh/red, filled my eye, excelled in head, front and angulation, level topline and moved well covering the round well, missed out for the CC on immaturity, RCC; 2 Graham’s Jadag Forntons Special. Black/tan, good shoulder set with tight elbows, level topline, good length of body not quite the head of one and not as mature; 3 Leyshon’s Picklescott Proclaim. PGD (3). 1 Young’s Willowheath the Darkness. Black/tan of good length, excellent coat and typical head, true mover; 2 Bell’s Freddie Ferrari. Not as good in head as 1, good length level topline and good coat; 3 McCartney’s Nagshall Polar Seal. L (8). 1 Welton’s Chelane Casper Carrot. Red, tight elbows, good layback of ribbing, plenty of angulation, moved well; 2 Brooks’ Lindarlea Earth Tremor, Black/tan, fair head, good length, well angulated, good ribbing, just a little unsure of himself today; 3 Oxley’s Wildhatch Cropston Boy of Dinkidax. OD 95). 1 Lockett and Lockett Walters’ Ch Ralines Royal Statesman. Black/tan. Such a lovely d, elegant all through, classic head, firm topline, good ribbing and just flowed round the ring, CC and BOB; 2 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Choc Ice. More compact than 1, everything in the right place, would have liked a bit more coat; 3 Miller and Shutt’s Am Ch Kenkaye’s Sun Chaser, Imp.

MINIATURE LONG HAIRED - BITCHES
MPB (10,1a) 1 Norton’s Halunke Shallimar S/R, balanced head, dark almond eyes, good pigmentation, long, low and level, beautiful front. Promising youngster in good coat, very well behaved and handled, moved with confidence. 2 Worswick’s Simpley Music from Dolyharp. Another promising baby, just 6 months, good front assembly, balanced throughout, tight feet, winner had edge on movement. 3 Thomas’s Shenaligh Sweet Spirit. PB (5) 1 Poole’s Findowrie Wine N Roses. Beautifully constructed 11 months B/T, good angulation fore and aft, well off for bone, coat not finished off but nothing to hide, moved soundly from all directions, BP. 2 Shone’s Scandell’s Hot Date at Hanishan. Super head, in full coat and gleaming to boot, neat feet, lost to winner on movement. 3 Turner’s Rafthouse Bright Prospect. JB (11,4a) 1 My first and second were very different types. Thomas’ Shenaligh Teasel, very smart B/T balanced conical head, long and low with strong quarters, super in profile, moved with drive, understand from exhibitor this gives her JW, congratulations. 2 McCartney’s Nagshall Ragetydoll. Clear red, not the head of winner, good angulation fore and aft, no furnishings yet but should mature nicely, moved like a train. 3 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Lacey. PGB (10,1a) 1 Welton’s Chelane Royal Courtesan, well presented clear red, enough coat of correct type, good shoulder placement and depth of keel, well let down quarters, sound movement. 2 McNaughton’s Bronia Miss Rabanne. Balanced head leading to good reach of neck, rich tan markings, ribs well sprung, good angulation front and back, level top, moved with drive. 3 Cooper’s Jumanda’s Black Magic. LB (14,4a) 1 Lockett-Walters Glenfin Pumpkin at Ralines. S/R Good head, super front assembly, well angulated with correct length of upper arm, good turn of stifle and short hocks. Sufficient coat of correct texture, presented in tip top condition and handled to perfection, CC, her first. 2 Roberts’ Denver Love Me Tender. Eye-catching light red, good head with lovely dark pigment, reachy neck, prominent forechest, level top, nicely angulated quarters and neat underline, one to watch. 3 Hanney’s Bronia Serenity. OB (9,4a) 1 Geeson’s Abydachs Attitude JW. Very elegant B/T and so aptly named! Georgeous, head, loved her long ear fringes, deep thorax, good length and spring of ribbing leading to well muscled quarters and rounded rump, in gleaming condition, expertly handled, RCC. 2 Roberts’ Denver Suzi Wong. B/T of different type to winner, superbly made throughout, long, low and level with good depth of keel and well let down quarters, in full bloom, quality exhibit, moved freely. 3 Boyle’s Zarcrest Gold Legacy
