MINIATURE LONGS
I thank the committee for inviting me to judge for their hospitality on the day. I apologies for the lateness of this report, due to work commitments. The quality in the bitch classes was better than dogs, presentation was good also temperaments, coat presentation was also good, I found a few rather broad heads in the males, which spoilt an otherwise nice exhibit. Toplines have improved, some classes were rather mixed for type and size shoulders and fronts are still in need of improvement, also there are still some short necks, some short ribbing and narrow fronts. Not many showed their pads going away and a number of ‘tummy tappers’ still around. My main winners stood out and I was pleased with my Best Puppy and BOB. MP (4,2). 1 Croxfords Arbroath Lord Of Strathspey. 8 months nice head, dark eye, reasonable front for age, good length of ribbing and follow through, still needs to settle on the hindquarters, moved well. 2 Broads Lyndarlea One Of The Boys. Similar remarks as 1st front not as good as winner and just enough ribbing, would like better let down hindquarters. PD (2). 1 Oxleys Dinkidax Tidal Wave. 11 months good head and eye, nice reach of neck, front assembly good and good rib length, moved well keeping a nice topline. Still need to tighten up. 2 Dunns Cairos Ozzy Oz, 9 months not as good in head or front as the winner, short ribbing, topline ok straighter in hind than winner. Rather immature. JD (4). 1 Weltons Chelane Casper Carrott. 15 months smart little dog, nice head good front and shoulders with a nice follow through, level topline good hindquarters, moved out well. 2 Oxleys Wild Hatch Cropstons Boy Of Dinkidax. 12 months again a nice head and front assembly nice underline, did not move out as well as the winner. 3 Youngs Willowheath The Darkness. ND (1). 1 Brooks Lyndarlea Pipers Kris. 19 months nice outline, good reach of neck, clean shoulders and front, kept a nice outline on the move just a little course in head. PGD (6). 1 & res CC Nortons Halunke Just Jervis 18 months nice outline, good head and dark eye, nice reach of neck good shoulders and front, ribbing carried well back, moved well keeping a nice outline. 2 Butlers Maundowne Momentum. 2 years also a nice outline, not as clean in front as the winner, good ribbing carried well back, kept a level topline on the move. 3 Brookes Lyndarlea Earth Tremor. LD (10,2). 1 & CC Geesons Abydachs Anarchy. 2 yrs eye catching dog in nice condition, good outline both standing and moving, clean head with dark eye clean front with good shoulders ribbing and follow through, well let down hocks showed his pads on the move. Well handled to get the best from him. 2 Pooles Findowrie Man About Town. Another nice one same remarks apply here, just not as free on the move and preferred overall substance of the winner. 3 Angears Ridgegrove Alfie Moon. OD (6,2). 1 Pooles Findowrie Society Guy 3 yrs. Good head, shoulders and front ok nice ribbing and follow through, just enough hind angulation, moved ok. 2 Watkins Bidornis Pinball Wizard. 6 yrs heavy set, good head clean front good ribbing and follow through, moved ok keeping his topline. 3 Brooks Dark Night Black Magic At Lyndarelea. MPB (6,4). 1 Brooks Lyndarlea Lacey 8 months nice outline, feminine head, nice reach of neck good shoulders ribbing and follow through, topline ok. 2 McCarthy’s Nagshall Ragetty Doll. Another nice youngster same remarks apply just needs to tighten on the move, has time on her side. PB (4,1). 1 Angears Ridgegrove Hallie Berry. Most promising bitch of 9 months lovely outline, very feminine head, lovely front for her age, all of a piece both standing and moving, has substance and style. BP & BPIS. Should have a bright future! 2 Georges Queensbrook Aurella Bizkit not as mature as the winner, still needs to tighten up kept a nice outline on the move. 3 Cawleys Summerview Limited Edition. JB (10,3). 1 Weltons Chelane Royal Courtesan. 16 months, another nice one from this kennel. Good outline, nice head clean front and keel good rib length, kept a nice outline on the move. 2 Edwards Barok Boompsadaisy. 12 months another nice one lower to ground, preferred the front of the winner moved well around the ring. 3 Youngs Willowheath Cheeky Girl. NB (3,1). 1 Edwards Barok Boompsadaisy. 2 McCarthys Joala Clear Kristal. LB (11,4). Angears Ridgegrove Dancing Shadow. 22 months another nice one from this kennel! Eye catching bitch lovely outline, feminine head nice reach of neck and clean front and shoulders good ribbing and underline, moved really well keeping a nice profile. Res CC. OB (8,2). 1 CC BOB & BIS Goddards Ch Minard Krystal Darque, outstanding bitch that you cannot ignore! At one with her handler, and such a showgirl it was a pleasure to go over her, she is so well put together and is so balanced lovely to watch her move with such freedom in the challenge for BOB the two finalists looked good, both moving well but Krystal has that something extra. Delighted with her BIS win a very worthy winner! 2 Edwards Barok Bonnechere, another nice one good outline, feminine head clean shoulders and front good ribbing kept a level topline nice hindquarters, not the drive of the winner. 3 Wallace’s Cheslin Reethi Rah.
