Best Puppy: Lockett-Walters’ Ralines Geisha Girl. BOB: Angear’s Ridgegrove Halle Berry. My general observations in this small representation were that coat presentation is on the up, teeth were clean throughout, elbows are still not tucked in, with either 1 or both in some exhibits, skulls have become broader with a rounder eye creeping back, and a waddling gait has developed. MPD (2) 1 Shutt’s Sanmik Sir Gallahad at Donnadoon. Blk/Cr, good head & eye, level topline and underline, good tailset, decent bend of stifle. 2 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Pedro. Blk/Tan, taller and narrower type than 1 good topline, shorter upper arm than Winner. PD (3) 1 Welton’s Chelane Masterclass. Beautifully marked silver dapple, so well constructed throughout with excellent head and eye, level topline at all times, on strong driving movement, today a little stressed. 2 Young’s Willowheath The Darkness. Blk/Tan, of lovely type, excellent length to body, and good throughout his construction, lacking coat but moved with soundness. 3 Brown’s Devoncream Dew N Thyme. LD (4,1) 1 Butler’s Maundowne Momentum via Drymoor. Pale red, with excellent head and eye, good depth and width to body, well laid back shoulder and upper arm, keel well back, length of ribbing good and round rump, moved in an easy gliding manner, DCC. 2 Poole’s Findowrie Man about Town. Superb dark shaded red with lovely head and eye, good pro sternum, and depth to keel, good rounded ribbing, needs to settle but moved well. 3 Norton’s Halunke Just Jervis. MPB (10,2) One of the most difficult classes of the day, some quality babies here and I was nit-picking between the winners, I feel sure all will change places during their show careers. 1 Lockett Walters’ Ralines Geisha Girl. Sh / Cr, with all the right proportions to her construction. Superb pigment to her lovely feminine expression, broad ears and excellent bold defiant head carriage on the move, which she did with drive and soundness. BPB / BPIB. 2 Hanney’s Bronia Navarra. Blk/Cr Very much my type, has excellent shovels on strong bone, topline and shoulders good length of ribbing, oval chest, just needs time to mature and settle, she will trouble the best. 3 Brown’s Garbosa Chocolate Vogue. Another out of the top drawer, Again just needs time. PB (7,2) 1 Norton’s Halunke Shallimar. Red with a lovely outline, a little taller in type but does not detract from her quality, excellent front assembly long muscular arched neck which gave her a graceful appearance, rear angulations good as was her, head and eye. 2 Thomas’ Shenaligh Sweet Spirit. Another a little taller, with excellent construction, just separated on coat length for a more finished appearance. 3 Worswick’s Simply Music From Dolyharp. JB (7) 1 Brace’s Xemxija Ice on Fire. Gold similar to winner my notes say unfortunate to meet with her, another difficult decision. 3 Young’s Willowheath Silver Angel. OB (5,1) 1 Davis’ Corrinbar Blue Angel. Another beautifully marked silver dapple from this kennel, how hard this is to achieve! she is a favourite of mine and she did not disappoint me to go over her, I found her graceful and her construction as excellent as I suspected it would be but somehow she was lacking her usual sparkle today. 2 Turner’s Rafthouse Tallulah. Red narrower and taller type, but good strong mover, with a lovely bold defiant head carriage and oval eye. 3 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Gem of Nite.
