MINIATURE LONG HAIRED
MPD (9,2) 1 Keay’s Essendy Just A Genie. Small
b/tan with plenty of substance. Pleasing shape in profile movement. Very good
forehand and close fitting elbows. Sound fore and aft. 2 Brown’s Rafthouse
Raising Hell at Garbosa. Choc/tan, longer cast than the winner. Good forehand,
sound in front and decent ribbing. Liked his profile but preferred the quarters
of the winner. 3 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Foxy Boy.
PD (3,1) 1 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Fizzycal Attracts. Well boned choc of
substance. Sound all round, good forehand, legs and feet. Ribs well back.
Pleasing head type, kept top and underline at all times. Very promising, Best
Puppy. 2 Keay’s Simply Ebony and Ivory at Essendy. S/dapple, a quality type but
rather tall and rangey at present. Preferred the quarters of the winner.
JD (4,1) 1 Turner’s Rafthouse Herr Flick. S/dapple with stunning forehand
construction. Well ribbed back, super turn of quarters and he moved so well.
Sound coming and going, lovely hind thrust in profile. Head ok, super neck and a
level topline. Lokks quite big but certainly has enough body substance. Quality
coat and lovely markings. An excellent example of this attractive variety. CC
and BOB. 2 Roberts’ Wingcrest Goldfinger with Denver. Red of different type but
very pleasing to go over. For me a nicer head than the winner. Longer cast, good
ribbing, super topline and a nice turn of stifle. Good hind drive, a very
promising dog. 3 Beal’s Chriskim Sunscreen at Kizbeal.
PGD (9,1) 1 Oxley’s Dinkidax Donny Rova. JW. Bl/cr with a lovely chiselled
head, super neck and front and tight elbows. Outline kept at all times, liked
his turn of quarters. Well ribbed (which many were not). Nice coat and body
condition, a very smart dog and one for the future. 2 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Pedro.
B/cr of substance. Good feet and bone, lovely top and underline. I liked his
head and eye shape. Good neck and shoulder, super coat type. A shade shorter
than the winner, close decision. 3 Keay’s Lyndarlea Just in Time for Essendy.
LD (8,2) 1 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Earth Tremor. B/tan of quality and substance.
Correct coat type, pleasing head, eye and ear fringes., Well placed shoulders,
tight elbows but still moved a shade close in front. Top and underline kept at
all times. Nice turn of stifle, stood true and won this class with some to
spare. 2 Young’s Shenaligh Sweet Believer with Willowheath. Red with a good
forehand and moved true in front. Balanced outline, nice hindthrust. Like the
winner a lovely head, eye and ear fringes. 3 Warren and Rowell’s Jadag
Continental Diplomat. JW Sh CM.
OD (9,1) 1 Brooks’ Ch Lyndarlea Choc Ice. Yet another super dog from this
kennel, of correct size with plenty of body. Sturdy legs, good feet. I loved his
well chiselled head, dark eyes and ear fringing. Perfect flat coat and correct
feathering. Well angulated shoulders, ribs well back and super quarters and turn
of stifle. Not quite the scope in profile movement of the CC winner, but is a
sound and lovely dog. Res CC. 2 Oxley’s Wildhatch Cropston Boy of Dinkidax.
Masculine brindle, very elegant with a beautiful head, neck and forehand. Super
size and shape, topline kept at all times and he moved very soundly. Very good
quarters, impressive side gait. Not quite the coat and body condition of the
winner but an excellent dog all round. 3 Wood and Graham’s Ch Jadag Fornton’s
Special.
MPB (13,2) 1 Brown’s Garbosa Threads of Gold. Gorgeous brindle in lovely
body and coat. Super size, very good front, ribs well back. When she gets her
act together will be one for the future. 2 Roberts’ Denver Penny Lane. Red/cr,
lovely type with a super head and dark eye. Elegant neck and topline, moved well
in profile but I preferred the front movement of the winner. 3 Angear’s
Ridgegrove Moon Lighter.
PB (9,3) 1 Earley’s Yelva Sweet Amber. Red, I liked her head, neck and
topline. Good lay of shoulder and upperarm. Forchest flowed nice through front
to a good underline. Very good quarters and turn of stifle, used to advantage in
profile movement. BPB. 2 Edwards’ Barok The Biz. Another lovely head, gone are
the days of short forefaces. Very feminine with a nice outline, good quarters
and a nice turn of stifle. Short hocks. 3 Brown’s Garbosa Saffron.
JB (7,1) 1 Mitchell’s Bronia Navarra. Neat b/tan with correct forehand
and better ribbing than most. Fair head, markings did not appeal. I liked her
body proportions in profile and she moved very well in front. Needs confidence.
2 Thomas’ Shenaligh Sweet Shadow. Red with a lovely head and eye. Well angulated
and moved very well in profile, keeping a correct topline. Nice type, well let
down quarters. A close decision, I thought the winner had the edge in front. 3
Edwards’ Barok New Beginning.
PGB (10,2) 1 Norton’s Halunke Shallimar. Neat red, lovely head and eye.
Good shoulder lay and upperarm, balanced at rear with decent second thigh. Won
on profile movement, keeping her outline at all times. Quality coat and
condition. Res CC. 2 Farmer’s Jenwood Morning Mist.
LB (13,4) 1 Worswick’s Simply Music from Dolyharp. JW. Very elegant red,
lovely head and eye. Lengthy neck, excellent shoulder and a super front. Loved
the lay of coat over neck, shoulder and upperarm down to good bone and feet. Top
and underline correct and she looked a picture in profile, with excellent
quarters and stunning hind drive with extension. Just the right amount of flat
body coat to show a super outline, kept at all times. CC. 2 Angear’s Ridgegrove
Moon Dance. B/tan of excellent construction. Perfect forehand, good bone and
feet. Moved very well but her outline changed on the move and she looked taller
than in stance. Very good coat and body, preferred the head of the winner. 3
Jamieson’s Djeata Spring Blossom.
OB (4) 1 Robert’s Ch Denver Suzi Wong. Three different type, difficult to separate. This b/t was sound and elegant, nice height to length ratio. Feminine head but markings did not appeal. Good front, nice spring of rob and she moved soundly. Very good quarters, a lot to admire. 2 Holmes’ Tammera Touch of Elegance. Well named red, lovely head, eye and fronging. Correct flat coat, pleasing proportions and she moved very well, sound in front. A close decision, preferred the turn of quarters and second thigh of the winner.
