MINIATURE LONG HAIRED
Such a pity we had to cope with an uneven grass ring, heavy with dew. This did nothing for the coats in the dog classes.
MPD (2) 1 Wood’s Wildstar Wrenowned, impressive 8 months b/t, I see that he is by the DCC, in the same excellent mould, loved him for type, lovely head & expression, lots of length, impressive bone & well bunched feet, balanced angulation & well filled front, must have a promising future. BP; 2 Booth’s Asbach Andeas, appealing s/r out of a smaller mould, most attractive head & expression, well put together. Preferred front & topline of 1. PD (4,1) 1 W Wrenowned; 2 Phillips’ Metadale Secret Assignment, smaller clear red of 11 months, projected pleasing outline, nicely put together. Could not match front construction of 1; 3 King’s Kingsdax Casanova. JD (4,2) 1 Brooks’ Layways Piper for Lyndalea, appealing cream, lovely conical head, good bone, looked good on the stack. Needs to firm up in topline, can tighten in elbows; 2 Dutson’s Rossdach Red Leader, s/r, liked his size & outline on the table, kept topline on the go around. Preferred head of 1 & needs to firm in elbows. YD (2,1) 1 Hume’s Helenium Copper, s/r of lovely type, stood away here, pleased in head & eye & expression, well constructed, good ribbing & front, excellent bone & feet, moved out best; 2 Hume’s Zoflora Cameron, choc/dapple, litter brother to Connor & same remarks apply. Nicely put together. Completely out of coat. Nice size & in good body condition; 3 Bell’s Freddie Ferrari. LD (3) 1 Brooke’s Lyndalea Fizzycal Attracts, very taken with this lovely choc/t, presents excellent outline on the table & keeps it on the go around, moved out really well, in excellent body condition & his coat shone; 2 Warren & Rowell’s Jadag Continental Diplomat, b/t of excellent type, lovely head, eye & expression, well constructed & moved out well. Not in the same condition as 1 & his coat was very wavy; 3 Shutt’s Donnadoon Diplomat. OD (7,1) Excellent class. 1 Wood & Graham’s Ch Jadag Forton’s Special, top class b/t of lovely type, true Dachshund in miniature, long low & level, lovely head, good bone & feet, well filled oval thorax, moved out really well. Just thought that the bitch had the edge on performance on the final go round. CC; 2 Colley & Buchan’s Stainsacre The Riddler, b/t of excellent type, made him BP the last time I judged, loved his head, chunky bone & feet, good length of ribbing, kept his topline, moved out really well. Just wish that he carried more condition. RCC; 3 Brooke’s Ch Lyndalea Choc Ice.
MPB (6,2) 1 Booth’s Asbach Amelie, s/r of 7 months, lovely type, beautiful head, lots of length, well put together, moved out well keeping firm topline; 2 Cohen’s Rafthouse Last Orders, b/t of 6 months, lovely type. Was not sure what was expected of her, more ringcraft required; 3 Casey-Evans’ Rarewood Cream Splash. PB (5) 1 Geeson’s Abydachs Absolution, 9 months b/t, what a super little chunky package, lovely shape, super bone & feet, really well put together, moved out really well keeping firm topline, all wrapped up on glossy flat coat. Would ideally like a bit more length to muzzle. BPB; 2 Graham’s Hillstar Lxzina of Jadag, 11 months b/t whose head I preferred to 1. Lovely coat, good bone & feet. Needing to firm up in topline; 3 Renton’s Dukidachs Silver Sugar Girl. JB (8,1) 1 Dutson & Phillips’ Ralines Black Lace, b/t, lovely type, super outline, really well constructed, good bone. Would like to see better bunched feet; 2 Brooks’ Lyndalea Dark Moment, 11 months b/t of pleasing shape, moved out well. Unfortunately in her underwear; 3 Mee’s Barlaines Dark Delight. YB (2,1) 1 Mourton’s Chelane Count On Me at Eldmour, small clear red, really chunky, good bone & well bunched feet, attractive head & eye. Could have moved out with more freedom. PGB (4,1) 1 Johnson’s Charpurdy Millie McStar, pleasing b/t, well put together, kept good outline on the go round, moved out with the most freedom, especially after a call of nature; 2 Cooper’s Jumanda’s Gipsy Silver, lengthy silver/dapple, lovely head. Bit short of coat like a number of exhibits & was not coping with the ground, unsettled on the go round; 3 Mee’s Barlaine’s Country Classic. LB (5,1) 1 Brown’s Garbosa Chocolate Vogue, no doubting the appeal of this lovely choc/t, impressive package, in super condition, glossy coat, really well constructed which enabled her to move out freely keeping super outline. RCC; 2 Mee’s Barlaine’s Amber Star, diminutive clear red projecting lovely outline, long low & level, nicely put together. Did not go with the same freedom of movement as 1; 3 Cooper’s Jumanda’s Black Majic. OB (2) 1 Goddard’s Minard A Girl Like Me, top quality clear red of 7 years, in beautiful condition, who I understand has only been shown this year, what a little cracker. Of excellent type, loved her head & expression, well filled front, snug fitting elbows, well ribbed back, firm topline, excelled on the go around with reach & drive, carried herself so well. CC & BOB. Disappointed the owner was unable to stay for the group; 2 Jamieson’s Djeata Spring Blossom, elegant s/r with lots to like, head, front & ribbing, long low & level, super bone, moved out freely. Thought that 1 had the edge on condition & vivacity.
