MINIATURE LONG HAIRED
I was pleased to find much improvement in the shape of the rib cage and the
breadth between forelegs. Also, evenness of size and body weight. There were a
few who were difficult to handle on the table and also backed off when standing
free, more training needed here. Feet were not good, too many needed more
exercise on hard ground and others were of incorrect shape. Please keep an eye
on length of tails, no dog should be able to stand on its tail or the feathering
on it.
PD(1) 1 Poole’s Findowrie City Slicker. Red, 7-months, stood on his own
but deserved his first, needs a little more length of neck to finish the
picture, otherwise nicely balanced, moved and showed well for his age.
PD(5,1) 1 Crawley andKing’s Creekpit Black Opal. Just in puppy,
beautiful head, dark eyes giving a lovely expression, maturing well in body,
well placed shoulders, good hind angulation and moved well. 2 Wood’s Wildstar
Wrenowned. Not as mature as first but has quality, needs to firm up in rear
movement, could do with less furnishings over rear as it spoilt outline. 3
McCarthy’s Nagshall All Guns Blazing.
JD(6,2) 1 Wood’s Wildstar Wrenowned. 2 Brooks’ Layways Piper For
Lyndarlea. Nice type, good head and length of neck, a little too long in loin,
good bone and feet, moved and showed well. 3 Kermode’s Kingsdax Kings Ransome.
PGD(5) 1 Hallett’s Cagebrook Jimmy Choo at Loretto. Beautiful shaped
head, nice expression, hind angulation was very good, super feet, moved and
showed well. 2 Charnley’s Northnook Rafferty. A little shorter in neck than
first but still very nice type, moved and showed well. 3 Burr’s Burrdach Jack in
the Box.
LD(8,2) 1 Croxford’s Arbroath Lord of Strathspey. Nice head, sufficient
length of neck running into correct back line, good forechest, well placed
shoulders, lovely feet, moved and showed well. 2 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Fizical
Atracts. Good pigmentation in this choc/t, lovely head qualities, good back
line, finishing with correct tail set, shape of feet good but could have been a
little tighter, moved and showed nicely. 3 Lockett-Walters andWalters’ Ralines
Foreign Ambassador.
OD(10,2) 1 Graham andWood’s Ch Fadag Forton Special. Not seen this
young dog since maturing, he has star quality, lovely head and expression, good
reach of neck, strong backline, well placed shoulders, good hind angulation,
really showed himself off to win the CC here today. 2 Oxley’s Dinkidax’s Donny
Rova JW. Pushed 1st hard in this class, lovely head shape, good reach of neck
running into strong back line, beautiful bone and feet, great showman. Well
deserved the RCC. 3 Poole’s Findowrie Man About Town.
MPB(9,1) 1 Thomas’ Shenaligh Sweet Dreamer. A repeat mating of the
winner of Limit, she holds much promise, beautiful head, good forechest, good
front and rear angulation, moved and showed well to win BP. 2 Rees’ Yumares
Smart Enough. Like her name, very smart, nice head, good reach of neck, well
bodied for her age, these two will vie with one another for first places, they
are both very nice. 3 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Sunset.
PB(5,1) 1 Poole’s Findowrie Lady Georgia. This young lady has much
promise, she pushed very hard for BPB, although just in puppy, she needs a
little more time to mature, she has star quality in her. 2 McCarthy’s Nagshall
My Fair Maiden. Lovely head and expression, dark eyes, good pigmentation, in
lovely condition, her feet could be better shaped, moved steadily and showed
well. 3 McAlpine andWalsh’s Walpines Queen’s Courtier.
JB(7) 1 Mee’s Barlaines Dark Delight. Here is a very nice quality
bitch, lovely shape of head, dark eyes, great forechest, good angulation front
and rear, handled beautifully on the table, movement was a delight, perhaps a
little more animation from her handler. 2 Graham’s Hillstar Lexzina of Jadag.
Very little difference between these two nice bitches. I see they were sires by
two different studs, but out of the same kennel, just preferred movement of
first. 3 Palin’s Sanmik Behlanna.
PGB(14,1) 1 Mourton’s Chelane Count on Me at Eldmour. In this large
class here was a delightful surprise, she stood out for her overall quality and
balance, beautiful head, firm back line, super feet, RCC. 2 Boyle’s Zarcrest Ice
Piste. Nice type, lacked arch on neck but good backline and depth of body,
showed well. 3 Palin’s Sanmik Kess.
LB(11,3) 1 Thomas’ Shenaligh Sweet Shadow JW. She has
matured on very nicely, well placed shoulders, lovely forechest, good front and
hind angulation, on moving covered the ground effortlessly. 2 Cooper’s Jumanda’s
Gypsy Silver. Very pretty dapple, a very nice bitch, has much of the qualities
of first but for me a little too long in loin, moved well. 3 Poole’s Findowrie
Wine N Roses.
OB(7,2) 1 Holmes’ Tammera Touch of Elegance. This bitch stood out today
for her overall quality and balance of movement superb and well deserved her
crowning CC and BOB. 2 Norton’s Halunke Shallimar. Pushed hard for the RCC but
just lost out on overall balance but still very nice, moved and showed well. 3
McAlpine andWalsh’s Ir Ch Walpines Lavender Lady.
