MINIATURE LONGHAIRED
Thank you to the officers and committee of this well run friendly show. Super venue, large carpeted rings and good atmosphere throughout the day, topped off by my B.O.B. taking Best in Show under Mrs H Caple. MPD (2) 1 Geeson, Bronia Return of the King to Abydachs, 8 month cream, scores in the head department, with dark eye and expressions, well ribbed, correct in top line, he has plenty of bone but would prefer better feet, moved out soundly and well presented. 2 Birdsworth, A Doghouse Dash (who named this!) silver dapple, fair in head and eye, well placed ears carrying a little too much weight, moved ok. PD (3) 1 Mee, Barlains Midnight Prince, black & tan, correct head shape of good conical balance, he has good bone with neat feet, kept his top line on the go around, although at times was unhappy. 2 Bedford, Rugosa Mr Bounder of Dinkidulor, red rather feminine for a male, and also tended to carry his tail in an untypical fashion. 3 Birdsworth, A Doghouse Dash. JD (2,1a) 1 Brown, Rafthouse Raising Hell at Garbosa, Choc/tan, a shinning light in what I considered to be a substandard entry of males over all. Super to go over all through, excellent conical shaped head which also had length and strength in fore face, very good neck, true front assembly, well sprung ribs which are carried well back (so many lacked this today). His bone and feet are good, top line kept level at all times, drove true from the rear, showing good forward reach up front, he was presented in fine order, no hesitation in awarding him the cc. I believe that was his second, surely his crown is not too far away, only needs a little more time to fully reach his potential. YD (3,2a) 1 Shutt, Sanmik Sir Gallahad at Donnadoon, black & cream, correct head proportions with a good eye, clean in shoulder with a well filled front, stands on good bone with neat feet, on the move kept a level top line just in between coats at the moment. PG (4,1a) Very poor class. 1 Burr, Burrdach Jack in the Box, b/t won on his sound movement keeping a good top line, presented in good condition. 2 Bell, Freddie Ferrari, better length in body than winner but lacked ribbing. 3 Beal, Chriskim Sun Screen at Kizbeal. LD (4) 1 Bedford, Wynndax Latte Leo of Dinkidulor, lovely dog to go over, excellent over all balance, classic head, dark eye with a good expressions, ribs ok. Bone and feet good, moved out soundly, well presented. 2 Oxley, Dinkidax Donny Row jw b/t with lots to like about him, correct in head, front and top line, good bone and feet, moved positively, close call between these two. 3 Kennedy, Denkena Solar Flame. OD (7) 1 Welton, Chelane Masterclass, well put together exhibit, scores with his conical shaped head, with neat dark eye, very good front assembly, level top line and good tail set, moved out soundly using himself positively with good rear drive, presented in good order. Pushed all the way for top award, today, had to be content with the RCC. 2 Norton, Halunke Just Jervis, very similar to winner in make and shape, very sound, good profile on the go around, just preferred length of neck on "Masterclass" coat condition excellent, tough call. 3 Osley, Wilonatch Cropston Boy of Dinkidax, brindle of smaller mould throughout, but well constructed and moved well. MPB (4) 1 Palin, Sanmik Kes, cream of good quality, good shaped head with dark eye, good in ribs, top line and tail set, stood on good bone with neat compact feet, won this class on her sound movement. 2 Welston, Chelane Simply Magic, red only six and a half months old, shows plenty of promise, good over all outline and balance, moved ok. 3 Beale, Metadale Belle De Jour at Kizbear. PB (4) 1 Palin, Sanmik Behlana, litter sister to "Kes" and I see sired by one of my all time favourites "Statesman". Best of head and eye, good in front assembly, well ribbed, level top line, well angulated rear, moved out with positive rear drive and forward reach, presented in very good coat and condition. Best Puppy in Breed. 2 Mee, Barcaines Dark Delight, well what do you know, another sired by "Statesman" and all remarks apply here as to Behlana, just needs to gain a little confidence to go on. 3 Beal, Kizbear Am I the One, "not today" unluckly to run into two very good bitches! JB (10) 1 Boyle, Zarcrest Ice Piste, clever name! Quality Bitch to go over, so well balanced, feminine head and eye, very good body, good bone and feet, kept a level top line on the go around, out moved them all in this class only needs a little more time to fulfil her promise. 2 Blackshaw, Ravensway Drama Queen, close between winner and this exhibit, she too had lots to like about her. Feminine head, good construction both fore and aft. Another bitch that could cover the ground with ease. 3 Barnsdale, Chriskims Dark Spirit, completing a trio of good bitches. YB (1) 1 Lockett & Lockett-Walters, Raline Gold Charm, standing alone but deserved her prise, feminine in head with a dark eye, correct in top line and tailset, she has neat bone and ribs are ok, moved out well both ways keeping her top line on the go around, well presented. PG (10) 1 Norton, Halunke Shallimar, and yet again another by "Statesman" he certainly has stamped his type on a variety of bitches, quality throughout on this girl, excellent for head and eye, over all balance and shape, moved out with style, presented in fine order. 2 Cooper, Jumanda's Gypsy Silver, dapple of merit, feminine head with good eye and expressions, very good neck and top line, again another that could move with positive rear drive and forward reach. 3 King, Bronia Casting Impression with Kingsdax. LB (11) 1 Lockett-Walters, Ralines Geisha Girl, "Statesman" strikes again, impressive cream, excellent in most departments, lovely to go over. Beautiful head and eye, clean shoulders, tight elbows top line fine, well ribbed, excellent quarters, used herself to good advantage on the move, I did consider her for top awards but sorry I could not forgive those poor feet! 2 Blackshaw, Ravensway Give me Time, red of merit, well balanced head, good neck and shoulders, lacked filling in forechest but had a good top line and well developed quarters, moved well on the out and back. Presented in fine form. 3 Jamieson, Djeata Spring Blossom. OB (7) 1 Goddard, Ch Minard Krytal Darque, so much has been written about this exhibit over the last few years and she has had a fantastic career. There is no need for me to sing her virtues, they are all there to be seen. Always giving 100% for her handler and its obvious that she adores him. CC BOB and later on Best in Show from a very good line up. Congratulations. 2 Holmes, Tammera Touch of Elegance, red of quality with lots to like about her, well balanced head with a good eye, excellent neck and body, good top line and tail set, good bone and neat feet, just not as active as "Krystal" but did enough to take the RCC. Better days to come. 3 Cooper, Jumanda's Lily, completing a trio of good bitches.
