MINIATURE LONG HAIRED
I enjoyed my day with the SDA and had some lovely exhibits to go over. Presentation on the whole was good but there were a few who were not in show condition with poor muscle tone and one or two where the handlers were not getting the best out of them. To new exhibitors I say don't be afraid to ask the advice of experience and successful breeders/exhibitors they will I am sure be only to ready to help. My thanks to my two stewards who kept the ring running smoothly. MPD. 1. Brown's, Rafthouse Raising Hell at Garbosa. Ch/tan with plenty of substance. Good head, well placed shoulders, good topline and underline. Standing four square with nicely muscled quarters, well angulated with good second thigh. He moved very well to complete the picture. CC and BP. 2. Brooks', Layways Piper for Lyndarlea. Smaller type not the head of winner but good body and movement. Well angulated fore and aft. 3. Burge and Rossiter's, Cagebrook Black Magic at Creekpit. PD. 1. Banting's, Willowheath Dark Knight of Indicott. Good head, well angulated fore and aft. Held topline on the move. 2. Hull's, Kendal Star Burst. Not the head of winner. Good front angulation. Moved well. Good follow throughout. 3. Brooks', Lyndarlea Foxy Boy. JD. 1. Brooks', Lyndarlea Fizical Attracts. Croxford's, Arbroath Lord of Strathspey. A nice head. Good front and rear angulation. Needs to settle on the table. Moved well. 3. Brook's, Lyndarlea Pedro. LD. 1. Turner's, Rafthouse Herr Flick. S/d with good head and length of neck, well placed shoulders and good hind angulation. Level topline held on the move. Good follow through moving with drive. RCC. 2. Butler's, Maundowne Momentum via Drymoor. Nice type of red dog with good head and body proportions. Well angulated quarters. Would like a bit more length of neck. Movement ok. 3. Brown's, Devoncream Dew n Thyme. OD. 1. Brooks', Lyndarlea Earth Tremor. B/t. Nice type. Shown in lovely condition. His conformation is good. Just needs to firm up behind. 2. Welton's, Ch. Chelane Casper Carrot. Moving better than winner but not as good in shoulder placement. Would like more length of neck. 3. Jamieson's, Silver-a-Do at Djeata. MPB. 1.
