VD (4,1a) 1 Norton’s Ch/Ir Ch Halunke Mister Baggins, very nice red, worthy champion, in excellent shape & condition, nice head & feet, good strong hindquarters, moved well; 2 Earley’s Yelva Prince, 9 years b/t, preferred the shoulders & head on 1; 3 Broad’s Jenwood Dream On, delightful 8 year old still moving freely. Preferred the front, shoulders & ribbing of the others. PD (5) 1 Roberts’ Denver Dream Lover, very elegant & good coated with nice head & expression, well placed shoulders, good length of ribbing, kept outline at all times, moved truly; 2 Lockett-Walters & Walters’ Ralines Red Kuri, lovely red, not quite as mature or settled as winner. Good head & expression with dark eye, nice neck & shoulder, super forechest, kept nice outline on the move; 3 Poole’s Findowrie City Slicker, similar in type to Kuri & similar remarks apply but I just preferred his head. JD (12) 1 Wood’ Wildstar Wrenowned, b/t shown & presented to a very high standard & in excellent condition., he is by my CC winner. Lovely head & neck into well laid back shoulder, super bone & feet, nice strong well angulated hindquarters which he used to move with drive; 2 Lockett-Walters & Walters’ Metadale Dick Turpin, lovely red with sound compact body, good length of ribbing, well angulated hindquarters, level topline & moving truly; 3 King’s Ingsdax Casanova, elegant dog with lovely head & neck, good depth of ribbing, moved well. YD (16,1) 1 W Wrenowned; 2 Richardson’s Sirrondach Ebony Damon Hill, b/t, nice head, dark eye, well built body with good spring of rib, lovely coat & condition, moved well; 3 Young’ Willowheath Hendrix, similar in type to 2 & I preferred his head. Kept level topline, nice movement. PGD (15,1) 1 Mcalpine & Walsh’s Walpines Flamin Red, stunning young red dog, masculine head, good length of neck running into well laid back shoulders, prominent forechest, good depth & length of ribbing, super bone & feet, strong well angulated hindquarters giving free true movement, extremely well presented & handled. RCC; 2 Richardson’s Sirrondach Ayrton Senna, nice choc/t, good head, front, bone & well rounded ribs, moved with purpose; 3 Cope’s Chariomah Brandy Splash, b/t, nice dog who moved well keeping topline at all times. Not the shoulder placement that I was looking for. LD (16,1) 1 Bedford’s Wynndax Latte Leo of Dinkidudlor, well balanced red with good length & depth of ribbing, nice length of neck & good front, feet & well angulated hindquarters, moved soundly & stylishly; 2 Poole’s Findowrie Skye Lord, red, good head, dark eye, deep forechest & length of ribbing, nice hindquarters, moved out well with drive; 3 Worswick’s Dolyharp Franz Schubert, similar in type to 1 & 2 but just preferred their ribbing, moved soundly. OD (14,4) 1 Graham & Wood’s Ch Jadag Forton's Special, impressive b/t in super coat & condition, well presented & handled, lovely head & expression, good reach of neck into well placed shoulders, good strong well angulated hindquarters, firm topline kept at all times, free true movement. Pleased to award him the CC but I felt the bitch had that little extra finesse when it came to BOB & for competing in the group; 2 Brooks’ Ch Lyndarlea Choc Ice, quality choc who I liked a lot, lovely head, good pigment, super front & ribbing, well muscled hindquarters, firm topline which he kept when moving. Just preferred the ring presence of 1; 3 Worswick’s Ch Dolyharp don Basilio, another quality & very worthy champion, elegant in movement with good length & depth, nice bone & feet. GCD (3) 1 Broad’s Jenwood Ring Of Bells, red with good front & forechest, dark eye, moved well keeping topline; 2 Halsall’s Kiddles St Edmunds, b/t with nice head, good bone & hindquarters; 3 L One Of The Boys.
VB (5,1) 1 Williamson’s Barkroyal Wyspering Willo, in excellent condition for 10 years & really enjoying her day out, well constructed throughout with good bone & moving so well; 2 Wallace’s Ch Cheslan Reethi Rah, elegant bitch moving very soundly, nice sweet feminine head, dark eye, good length of ribbing; 3 McCarthy’s Nagshall Cream Toffee, another exceptional 10 year old, just preferred the front on 1 & 2. PB (12) 1 Mcalpine & Walsh’s Walpines Queens Counsel, what a lovely elegant b/t, I liked everything about her, excellent stylish mover & presented well. BP; 2 Way’s Ralines Butternut Posh, very compact cream, well bodied, lovely head & expression, super bone & feet, moved out well with purpose; 3 Lockett-Walters & Walters’ Ralines Aubra Jean, b/cr litter sister to 2 & very similar, good front & forechest, nice length of ribbing, good hindquarters, well handled. Completed a trio of lovely young bitches. JB (13,2) 1 Mcalpine & Walsh’s Walpines Queens Courtier, another glamorous b/t from this kennel & again well presented & handled to make the most of her, beautiful head & expression, super reach of neck, well laid back shoulders & well angulated hindquarters, moved effortlessly with drive; 2 Graham’s Hillstar Lexzina of Jadag, very nice sound b/t with plenty of bone & substance, pleasing head, good depth & length of ribbing, nice hindquarters, moved well, very well handled & presented; 3 McCarthy’s Nagshall My Fair Maiden, not as mature as 1 & 2 but very nice. Feminine head, dark eye & pigment, good front & well ribbed, moved well. YB (14) 1 Palin’s Sanmik Behlanna, pleasing b/t well constructed, excellent shape, good bone & feet, lovely front & forechest, nice well angulated hindquarters, moved well; 2 McCarthy’s Nagshall Daisy Duke, nicely constructed smaller bitch with pleasing outline both standing & moving, sound free movement; 3 Mee’s Barlaines Dark Delight, b/t nicely made throughout, slightly upright in shoulder, moved with drive. PGB (18) 1 Norton’s Halunke Casalani, pleasing well constructed b/cr & very feminine of excellent shape with good bone, lovely head, good length & depth of rib, moved soundly with drive; 2 Nightingale’s Rodima Super Smart, lovely bitch, nice head, dark eye, good reach of neck & nice ribbing, well angulated hindquarters, moving well but a little apprehensive on the table; 3 Palin’s Sanmik Kess, nice compact bitch, good bone, feet & ribbing, well laid back shoulders. LB (13,3) 1 Blackshaw’s Ravenways Drama, quality red with excellent shoulders & hindquarters, good barrelled ribbing. She had a habit of sinking at the backend when on the table but movement was precise & true; 2 Mee’s Barlaines Amber Star, very nice bitch similar in type to 1, but not the same free flowing movement; 3 Cooper’s Jumanda’s Gypsy Silver, very attractive dapple a little longer & larger than 1 & 2 but nicely made all through, nice head & neck, good feet, nice flowing lines. OB (16,1) Excellent class & I was spoilt for choice the first six placed could all have won the CC. 1 Holmes’ Ch Tammera Touch Of Elegance, perfectly named, this bitch caught my eye immediately, she is a real showgirl, oozing quality & in tip-top condition, handled & presented perfectly, liked everything about her. CC & BOB; 2 Lockett-Walters & Walters’ Ch Glenfin Pumpkin at Ralines, top quality red unlucky to meet 1 in such tip-top form, similar in type, excellent bone & nice tight feet, perfect shoulders, topline, hindquarters, moved with drive. RCC; 3 Mcalpine & Walsh’s Ir Ch Walpines Lavender Lady, very elegant red with good head & lovely expression, well laid back shoulders, super front & length of ribbing, firm topline kept at all times with free flowing movement. Again as all from this kennel well handled& presented.
